If you love golfing for the driving range but not too keen on the changes in Kentucky weather, 5 Iron Golf is indoors and the place to be. With comfortable seating and state of the art virtual golf course/ games it was easy to book a lane for a while before attending the parade. They have a full bar and a decent menu with pub style foods and awesome staff. Getting set up for a lane was a breeze after completing the waiver, they should us the control panel to select a course or games. There were balls & different types of tees and 2 different golf bags label men's and women's at your leisure. We only planned on playing for 30 mins but ordered a cocktail & some bits and it turned into a hour. We did a fun kids game that was like the range. We ordered the sliders & chips & guacamole. The sliders wet cooked to perfection & came with fries that were delicious & the chips to guacamole ratio was great. Our cocktails were delicious and we just had a blast: the restroom was so clean and stocked with items that may be needed in a pinch. Great Time & everything was reasonably priced. read more

A super fun, gorgeous virtual golf spot! Admittedly, I'm not a golfer, because I'm not very good at it. My boyfriend, on the other hand, loves any and every golf spot in Louisville - virtual or otherwise - so we had to try his and he loved it! He enjoyed the accuracy, the different club options, the stats provided, etc. For someone who takes golf more seriously, I'd say this place would be fun to go and hang out with friends who share in that interest! As someone who isn't as big of a fan of golf, I still had a great time playing the games (they have kid games and more adult aimed ones) and lounging on the comfortable couch. The service was super kind and attentive. We didn't order any food or drinks today, but we did check out the menu and pricing and the prices seemed reasonable for the menu selection! read more

We loved our work outing at Five Iron golf. Very spacious and comfortable bays, with additional seating near where we were sitting. We absolutely loved the margaritas and buckets of Surfsides. The selection of food was great, and our favorite was the whipped ricotta dip with soft warm naan. I will definitely be hosting another work gathering, as well as bringing my friends and family here as well. read more

Took my corporate team to the new location downtown for a holiday party with food and drinks. Food was good, but the set up wasn't ideal and the fees were outrageous for the service and support. Bar couldn't even get their soda machine to work and couldn't manage to get diet coke in the time we were onsite. Drink prices were excessively higher than other similar venues. Event staff failed to read emails and then when called out on it, simply apologized and too no ownership for their mistake. Would not recommend this place and would consider Top Golf, Puttshack, Main Event, or other venues more appropriately priced and structured to handle groups. read more

UPDATE TO MY INITIAL REVIEW. Well folks, I returned a few days later with my wife, young son and brother and we had a great time! Went back and watched the Derby Race and stayed for almost 2 hours playing 'golf' eating a good, but limited menu (that they said will be expanding), and enjoy nice adult beverages! The bill was very reasonable (bout the same as bowling at Vernon) and everyone else had a good time! Specifics: The location is fantastic for me, and they do have a parking lot which helps. The facility is brand new so everything looks and is very stylish and works great. The seats were comfortable and they provided clubs for me my wife and had a kids set-all brand new. The Trackman system they have is state of the art and, much to the dismay of my self declared 'good golfer' brother, very accurate! With the help of the manager we did find the kids golf games and the candy crush game was as much fun as he ever had at top golf angry bird! Give it a shot!! read more

This place is so much fun, especially on a hot summer day. The food was tasty (my 3 year old wanted more pizza & fries) and the cocktails were also really good. We were there with friends and family but loved the fact that there was something to do for everyone. We also appreciated the service and our server constantly checking up on us to make sure we were good throughout our time. Highly recommend!!! read more

Visited here recently and received such a poor level of service. We had to get up and find the server multiple times to ask to order, have condiments, etc. They discredited us for being younger individuals and therefore treated us as such. We really wanted to love the place for the price we paid and the ambience yet left so disappointed. Upon checkout, we were asked in front of the whole front desk filled with wait staff what tip amount we wanted to give- gave off such a negative impression as many places will have you write on the receipt or select a percentage button on a tablet. We had such a great time! While wandering through NuLu, we stopped by out of curiosity since we'd never tried simulated golf before. I don't golf, but my husband does, so we weren't sure if it would be worth the cost just to try it out. Luckily, since it was early in the day, the manager kindly let us test it out for a few minutes. We had a blast! Nice bar with a great staff and a fun vibe. The variety of games makes it fun for any skill level--even for a non-golfer like me. We'll definitely be back to play again and check out their plans to renovate the outdoor space next summer. read more
