We were here on a Saturday late afternoon, and it was packed with a wait list when we left at 5:30pm. Upon our arrival we were seated promptly by a lovely hostess who greeted us warmly and friendly. She was also our wait person and her name was Stephanie and she was fabulous.!! The food was delicious, I had the Eggplant Parm handheld on garlic bread and it was awesome, thin sliced eggplant as I like it. I had Sweet potato fries too which were out of this world. My husband had the Chicken Parm Handheld with a salad and he said it was delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant for its location and food.! Staff is great as well...!! read more

Having just arrived late afternoon and the fact that it's the last weekend of bike week, we went to 5 Main for dinner; plus we needed to shop for food. 5 Main is the old Rustic River and the place was busy but we got a table. I got the chicken parm and my wife got the seafood pasta dish. Tonight they had a young country western singer who added to the experience. Service was good; recognized our waitress so we felt comfortable being back in North Woodstock. Only disappointment is that they do not offer pizza any more, even though it remains on the menu. read more

Dined here a couple times over the last year. Food and drinks are pretty good. Enjoyed my margarita, wings and beet salad. My husband has tried a few pasta dishes. Love the atmosphere and a cool place to hang out. We will definitely be back to try some other items on the menu. read more

The Woodstock/Lincoln NH area has a new contender for BEST affordable restaurant in the area. Having grown up visiting the area I have been to every place in the vicinity and tonight decided to give this recently rebranded place a try after seeing a pic on Yelp of their ribs, which are currently a special item not on their regular menu but from what I can tell will be a regular option going forward. First off parking is limited, and I squeezed into a space close to the new construction going on and and asked the kitchen staff I saw outside taking a break if I was ok where I parked. They were friendly and said "no problem" despite I new I wasn't exactly in a normal parking spot. If the small lot is full I'm sure there is enough on street parking nearby. Second, I was warmly greeted by staff when I went in and since I was solo and told I could sit anywhere I choose the bar as I didn't want to take up a table by myself. The bartender, Bridget, was quick to greet me and take my drink order, a delicious and fair priced "Prickly Pear Margarita". Then I ordered the meal I saw online, a half rack of ribs which came with two sides. I choose the same sides I saw in the photo online, some crazy good garlicky mashed potatoes and some sauteed spinach. The sides were great, but the stand out was definitely the ribs. OMG they were fall off the bone perfect. Not only was the cook of these ribs perfect but the drizzled sauce over them was amazing. Was that like some kind of apple cider drizzle to finish the plate? What ever it was it was killer. When the half rack of ribs I ordered arrived I looked at Bridget and said "That's a half rack?" The portion was huge and we realized she had rung in a full rack. Not a problem at all she quickly assured me they would only charge for the half rack. I'm stoked I got to bring home a half rack of these ribs for leftovers because they were some of the best ribs I've ever had. The half rack, with two amazing sides, is currently only priced at $16. That's less then I would expect to pay at a food truck that makes good ribs. While I sat at the bar I chatted a bit with a manager, "Matt" who was busy squeezing fresh limes for their margaritas. No cheap margarita mix used at this place. They squeeze a hundred or so limes for their own house margarita mix. Not much more to say other then I am stoked they are expanding their outdoor section, offering live music often, have staff that seem genuinely happy to be their serving up excellent food and drink, and in such a great location just a few minutes away from the often over crowded restaurants of Lincoln. I will definitely be back to this spot! I didn't stay to meet the Chef but I do hope he and the owners see this review! I wouldn't take the time to write so much if I didn't truly love the meal I just had there! read more

Stumbled upon this place because the big Inn down the road was slammed and felt it was a good option for an early dinner on a busy weekend. Cute little place and good service. We were greeted with a warm welcome. We had a couple sandwiches (chicken parm and a burger). Chicken parm sandwich was okay and looked a little small. Burger was delicious. Fries were crinkle cut and just okay. They have a cool outside area that we would love to check out when the time is right. Looks like it is dog friendly too which we love. read more

Stopped today for a late lunch. Ordered a Cuban and husband ordered a medium rare burger. Unfortunately it came medium well...no red. So we switched. Both were delicious. Had sides of fries and baked potato. No kidding..best potato with sour cream I ever had. Friendly hostess and waiter. Great atmosphere. Fantastic Moat brown ale...husband said that was best beer he ever had. Ordered chocolate cheesecake to go...and the box must have been sitting on a wet service so we had to turn it upside down for transporting. Just finished it. Great stop in a town known mostly for bars. This was a big step above. read more

Just happened upon this. Had the Caprese Salad with barata cheese so good . But only had 4 thin slices of heirloom tomatoes. Did not compensate for the cheese. Add 2 more slices. Works.. so delicious. Has one of their specialty pizzas, was delicious. We are so happy we stopped! Allot going on here as far as construction. . Looks like the just installed(outside) a granite out door pizza oven. Good, drinks, service worth it!! Will be back! read more

I'm not sure entirely what happened, but we did not feel welcomed at this restaurant. I can't think of much worse to give a restaurant. After waiting for over 10mins to be acknowledged at the door, we were only sat (almost immediately) after another group came in. After finally being sat, in again, a not very busy state. We waited again for over 10mins just to be acknowledged by the waitress. Didn't happen. We watched the other group that came after us get our drinks. We watched the waitress check up on her other tables and even clean tables without ever even asking for our drink order. And so, feeling unwelcomed, I along with my hispanic family, left the restaurant to find another place that will ask us for drink orders within 25 minutes of coming in. read more

Stayed in the Lincoln area and wanted to try this place. Parking lot beside the building is small but there is also on street parking. Inside has many tables of four plus a few hightops. Wait staff responsive, ordered mussels which were ok. Bruschetta was good but only included four small pieces of toast. Pizzas were good, normal size and garlic pizza very good. Drinks were good (both mixed and beers/wine). Atmosphere was casual and not overcrowded. I prefer this smaller place vs that large inn down the street. Also noticed that they are adding a larger outdoor patio out back which will be nice. read more

I'll start off with the good... the food and drinks were really good. The service, not so much. We were large group.(9) , but two of the nine of us did not get our meals. We waited a while and then I was asked what was it that I ordered. More time went by and then I was told that it would be 3 to 4 minutes longer. No apologies, sorry for the inconvenience, etc. By the time we were served, everyone else was done and just about ready to go, so I wolfed down my lunch. When it came time to pay, there were two couples and six singles. My husband was told an amount , which we knew was too much, but the server didn't let him see the itemization so that he could correct it. He did however go back inside and figure out what the error was and came out 5 to 10 minutes later (he was charging us for some of the others). It was irritating given the mixup with the food already. Would I go back again, absolutely! II understand the restaurant is under new ownership and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meals. Went back for a second time this week and it was excellent again. Beet salad was delicious as was the roast beef sandwich. Pizzas were a hit with everyone. Grandchildren were happy with their (as well as our) selections. Staff were great with them. Will definitely be back when we're in the area. read more

Visiting town and tried this place last night and was pleasantly surprised. The food and service were fantastic! We sat at the bar and Matt was very friendly and attentive. The food was really good. Food very good, but the atmosphere was terrible. Like a bar that happens to serve food, in terms of noise level, and giant TV's, even the taste would have been great otherwise. Couldn't hear each other, and not what you'd expect for a nice dinner out. Has great potential. My advice to the owner that literally walks around the restaurant wearing his political support of a national candidate is this--don't. In this politically charged environment you will likely alienate half your potential customers. Separate business and politics. read more
