Outside waiting area- cornhole for old and young kids

New to Linwood (opened in June, '25) this diner is the reincarnation of their Tilton diner(part of Common Man chain). Our waitress, Johanna, was great and kept us amused. We ate in the dining area adjacent to the diner portion. Tables were spaced nicely so we could converse. My tuna melt on sourdough bread was excellent and the fries were tasty, not oily. My wife enjoyed her smash burger. Even my cup of NE chowder was filled with clams. The manager came around and inquired if everything was ok so I was impressed. Overall, a nice experience that will be repeated. The kitchen can get backed up at peak hours and they close at 2PM. 4.5 stars. Plenty of parking between the two restaurants.

    Liver and onions, potatoes.

Visited the Lincon Diner today. Atmosphere was good, wait staff was pleasant although there was only 3 waitstaff fir the entire place. They were pleasant and attentive. However our food was not very good. My husband ordered liver and onions. The liver was very dry, the onions were supposed to be caramelized and were on the raw side, the potatoes were lumpy and the chili appetizer was so thick the spoon literally stood up in it, but he said the taste was good. So I ordered a Reuben sandwich. It was not good at all. First it was salty because the meat had so much fat, I coukd hardly taste the sauce( I asked for more) and if there was saurkraut on it I couldn't taste it. It was awful. The fries were good however. So after we were done I was waiting for my husband and was observing the cook. He ha a baseball cap on, which is fine. However I watched him take his hat off, wearing the gloves he cooks with, adjusthis hat/haif( over the are he was cooking on, and put his hat back on with the gloves he uses to cook with. I am all set and will not return to the Lincoln Diner.

New Diner, just like Tilton Diner, owned by same owner, recently open early July 2025, hours are 7-2pm, and likely will be longer once they adjust... Food was delicious and fast service, super friendly staff, clean & new. They have an extend back dining area of the street car.

This is FANTASTIC We came in with very high expectations and these expectations were 100% met. We were greeted by a super friendly host, and then taken care of by a super friendly (and knowledgeable) server. The food was awesome. If pushed to pick a favorite thing on the plate ... the pancakes. And don't forget to ask for real maple syrup. The look and feel of an old time diner, we can't wait to go back soon.

My reviews will always come from a travelers perspective, with a strict budget. We always travel with our service dog as well, so I give tips on that also. We are a middle aged couple, and sometimes when we have the kids with us we review from that perspective as well. Don't let the name Diner fool you! This food was bomb! The diner was super cute, the waiter was great, the food was so good and the price was reasonable. Overall a great find!

The food was 10/10--from the friendly service to the excellent food. My family and I popped in here without doing any research beforehand. We didn't have high hopes, although the place is cute, clean, and conveniently located right off the road. But wow--this was probably the best meal I've had since we arrived in New Hampshire. My husband got the tuna melt with their house-made chips, I had the BLT with sweet potato fries, and the kids had a grilled cheese and the ranchy chicken wrap. My mother- and father-in-law ordered the pulled pork sandwiches with onion rings--and they were simply divine. Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. And holy moly, was it all just amazing. Damon was a doll--attentive and warm--and the hostess was so accommodating. It felt like a place that genuinely cares about both the food and the people. We're already talking about coming back before we leave. Total hidden gem.

Cobb Salad is supposed to come with bleu cheese crumbles

We were sorely disappointed by our experience at Lincoln Diner. Despite the previously noted good reviews and our wish that the town of Lincoln would have another good eatery, we found that this new restaurant, Lincoln Diner, is just not ready for 'prime time' and it missed the mark in several areas. First, we were basically ignored at the hostess greeting stand. The restaurant did not appear to be busy at the time, and staff was visible and not scurrying around. Despite this, it took 10 minutes of waiting before being greeted by the hostess, without any prior acknowledgement of our wait. We were seated in the less than half-full restaurant and waited another10 minutes before our server, Jackson, came by. We placed our complete order and Jackson returned with two water glasses and said he would return right back with straws. Spoiler alert: the straws never came. Not that this was a big deal, but it points to the lack of attention to detail and to the level customer service. Second, we waited an inordinately long time for our food. It took 28 minutes from ordering to receive our order of Eggs Benedict and a Cobb salad. Again, the kitchen did not appear to be overwhelmed, and this was after any lunch time rush. The Cobb salad, ordered by my guest is described in the menu as having 'bleu cheese crumbles'. The salad we received did not have any bleu cheese crumbles. When we asked the server, he said, "Oh, you want bleu cheese crumbles with that?" The sever was pleasant and the atmosphere fine. The food was quite tasty. However, compared to service we have received at other Common Man Diners or just in general, the Lincoln Diner fell considerably far short of even our minimal expectations. I would be afraid to go there hungry and have to wait this long for food.

My wife and I stopped in the Lincoln Diner the other night for an early dinner. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We were served in the dinner section of the restaurant which has the old 50's ambience of a classic diner. The menu is a mix of diner stables with breakfast served all day. I opted for the vegetarian omelette with cheddar cheese, cinnamon toast and baked beans plus a side of bacon crispy. My wife went with the turkey pot pie. My omelette was delicious and the bacon just right. The beans were amazing (we both loved them). However the pot pie was too dry. We did receive some gravy that helped it out. The good thing about the pie was the crust which was very tasty and flaky. So while the staff was super and my omelette very nice I can't quite give the dinner a top rating. I will say we may be back soon!

Tonight, I was in the mood to try somewhere else and suggested we eat here. We are both so grateful we decided to drive to Lincoln. The drive across the Kancamagus makes it an enjoyable drive to get there and home.. Now onto dinner. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs, and even helped when we had questions, as they know their dishes well. My wife chose the Burrata Chicken dish , and was very happy with her choice. For me, I chose The Sweet Corn, Bacon Ravioli ..This meal was so flavorful and was beyond what I was expecting. As we took 1/2 our meals home and a load of their bread, this meal was one of the better meals we've had and yet, the price for this dinner was about the same as we'd spend most anywhere else.

Having stayed two nights at the Kancamagus Lodge, I found myself compelled to eat breakfast here both mornings. Brittanny's Cafe is a small, country-style restaurant located within the Kancamagus Lodge Main Building. Attached is an outdoor patio for dining in fair weather. In addition, a wall of windows allow views of the indoor pool facilities at this establishment. Upon entering, a hostess immediately sat us, provided us with menus, and took drink orders to begin the meal. The menu offers a variety of options ranging from omelets, pancakes, french toast, etc. Apparently known for their unique omelet ingredients, I opted to test out the relatively tame bacon, ham, and sausage omelet. The bf tried out one mixed with peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, and more! Unlike many places who dice their ingredients into itty bitty pieces, these omelets are filled with largely sliced portions. In a few words, they were fresh, cooked to perfection, and absolutely delicious. Day two, I ordered the pancakes with bacon, home fries, and toast. The pancakes were fluffy, light, and completely hit the spot. Bacon was cooked to near crispiness, home fries soft, flavorful, and plentiful. Lastly, the thickly sliced toast with butter was a perfect way to round out the meal. Bottomless cups of coffee made it a little easier to get going in the morning and search out the adventures easily found around every corner in NH. Service was quick and efficient, waitresses personable and accommodating. Almost all options on the menu were under $10. I wish I had the opportunity to eat here for dinner (as they do not appear to serve lunch) but will certainly keep this place in mind if I am to ever return in the future.

The outdoor tables were fantastic--it was raining pretty good but they're very covered, we stayed plenty dry and enjoyed the open air (see pics for the view!). Our server, Jordan, was prompt, professional, and had some helpful recommendations. Versus most restaurants on the main road in Lincoln I'd say the prices here are a bit higher and the portions are a bit smaller, but the quality is a significant step up too. Salmon was great, and I really enjoyed the risotto in particular. The salad also had an apple cider vinegarette dressing that felt very homemade (I think there were little chunks of apple in it). The Rhythm Ciders were fantastic, the flight came with generous 5 ounce pours (the seasonal was my personal favorite). Our experience was far from that described in some of the negative reviews. Our server checked on us a number of times, the manager came by two or three times, and everything came exactly as ordered. Maybe there were some growing pains when they first moved to this space, but they've certainly been worked out now--this will be a go-to for us when we want a nicer dinner in the area. I would assume only service dogs allowed, as you need to walk through the restaurant to reach the outdoor seating and it's on a balcony.
