First time coming into this establishment because I was looking for a decent car wash and cleaning inside of my vehicle. For starters the system they have a to know when your vehicle is completed it's horrible. You have to literally keep an eye on your car and see that no one is working on it, how about maybe announcing vehicle number blah blah blah is now complete. I truly am not a very picky person because I understand the working conditions that these employees are under and not to mention the elements including the 90° weather we are having and I'm sure they probably make minimum wage which there is nothing wrong with that as they are working hard. When my vehicle was done I decided to just open the back of my car and to my surprise my two-year-old granddaughter could've done a better job vacuuming my vehicle. Then I looked inside and noticed but none of the door panels had been wiped and they were very dusty. I asked to speak with a member of management and the gentleman who had a white shirt and name tag that said MIKE came over to see what I had concerns with for a $35 car wash I took this wash because it was the most expensive one they had and I figured I was going to get my moneys worth once I showed MIKE the poor vacuum job he said and I quote well you really can't get everything but it's not like it was difficult stuff to remove. Then I went to show him the door panels that were not wiped and his answer in his words were well you know we tend to get busy. So I asked him then if you get busy you just go ahead and do a sloppy job on someone's dime? Then he finally said well if you want go ahead and pull it around I will do it again. At this time hearing the two initial responses and excuses for why they couldn't do a decent job I had already turned off Mentally. Like I said I'm not looking for anything free and I expect decent not perfect but decent work for my money and if Mike's ideals reflect to the ownership of this establishment they're gonna be in trouble because folks like myself are not going to come in just give away money for mediocre work. read more

I went here to wash and detail my car. I specifically asked them not to move my key from the ignition because I'm having problems and need everything to stay the same. I asked three different people and they assured me, it would be ok. My car was turned on the whole time, until the end one of the managers, turned off my car!!! And he locked my car and I couldn't start the car. Then the second manager came and he was useless too. He said they had to turn the car off, yet I specifically told them not to do!!! He offered no apology or refunds and it was over priced for $35.00 dollars was ridiculous. And on top I left a $5 tip. After they locked my car out, I had to call my towing service to bring my car back home. I was so mad and the customer service was awful. The detailing was not that great .. I saw dirt still in some areas. I will never go again and I would never recommend it to my family and friends. Maybe you should train your managers and the people who work there, it's obvious not running good.. or maybe don't understand specifically what I asked .. either way it was a waste of my day and I will never patronize your business again. read more

We've been fueling and washing our vehicles here for over 20+ years with always excellent results, however the past year the quality of the car wash has really gone south. I would love to share what a WONDERFUL job 5 Minute Car Wash did on my vehicle. My 5 year old son put silly putty on the inside window of our car when I wasn't looking and it would not come off the window. It had been a while since I had been to The five Minute Car Wash so I decided to splurge and spend $25 dollars to get my truck washed (usually do it myself) I couldn't have been more disappointed. For $25 I realize that this is a car wash not a full-blown detailing, so I really wasn't expecting all that much and this place still fell short. The floor of my truck still had leaves on the carpet and didn't even look like it had been vacuumed. There was still dust on the dash, and it was obvious that nothing had been wiped down on the interior. There was a whole crew of people with towels in their hands, but the outside of my truck was still wet and there were drips and spots on the windows. This was nothing but an overpriced drive through car wash. **** Important **** In addition to the poor-quality job not one employee was wearing a face mask. Not the first guy that came to my window, not the guy that stood in front of me and got the keys, not the cashier INSIDE that took my money, not the person that parked my truck and not the guy that gave me my keys at the end. I parked my car at the Stockton Airport and while I was away it got broken into...the person that broke in stole some items and smoked in my car. I drove home and went to the 5 Minute Car Wash. The owner has decided to close for the day and had let most of the staff go home. I paid for the super wash and it looked like they didn't even hot wax the car and I had to go home and re wipe the entire car. My last two washes have been horrible. I took my pickup in a month ago and they left road oil down both sides. Got the manager to get it cleaned up but not a good job. Today took my wife's highlander in bought the 29 wash. Car was filthy. They were supposed to armoral the tires a shine the wheels which wasn't done they were supposed to clean the carpets and the carpets were dirty. The exterior of the car was left amazing. My car is nice and shiny but the inside was left so filthy. My car wasn't even dirty to begin with and I think the seats were left dirtier then when I brought my car in. Totally unacceptable!! The dash wasn't touched and I can see a hand print on my dash. This place is a joke. Every time I have gone there I have been disappointed. I have a little Mini Cooper, but still it wasn't washed or cleaned completely. Once, the owner was even there and saw that I had to have them redo my car three times! Took me over an hour waiting to get my car cleaned correctly. He simply laughed it off as if it were no big deal. I hadn't gone back since then, but decided to give them one more try. This time they didn't clean the inside at all. When I questioned why my car was still dirty inside, I was told that they no longer did that. If I wanted to have the inside cleaned it would cost me more money. The first time I took my truck in they did a good job second time the inside was good outside was decent but my windows were horrible. I had to clean them at home. Third time same decent inside and out windows all smeared was very let down for 32.50. Wife took her car it is not even a year old first time no issues second time we go for a ride the next day kept smelling a funky smell pulled over one of their workers left a wet towel in the back of her car on the carpet. I go here frequently because they give you a free wash when you use the Lube and Detail place across the way (that place is good, BTW). I've tipped quite a few times to see if they would do better vacuuming and washing out the inside. They NEVER do. Today I still had a leaf, straw wrapper, and dog hair over the back seat of my car (did they think I wouldn't notice that end of my car?). I was ticked because I had specifically asked for better vacuuming and tipped the guy. Nothing. I do a better job at Primeshine. The guys didn't wipe out the cup holders or other little basic things that I expect with that type of wash. I'm not sure if maybe they do a slightly worse job because I'm younger and they don't expect me to tip but I'm really tired of the poor quality. I still plan to go here because the washes are free but I am no longer tipping. It's a joke. I was brought up tipping people but if they don't do the work, why waste the cash? I've literally been going to this place since I was a child when my mom would take me. I'll consider the ten or twenty bucks I've spent tipping over the past two years as a wash. I probably should call the manager over but he was quite busy using foul language and arguing over tips with the other employees, so I decided to just leave. Not only was the attendant actively smoking a cigarette (by the gas pumps, no less) with no mask on while taking our car wash order, but masks are not being enforced amongst the customers, as well as the employees. I've stopped going there due to the fact I was never satisfied. First off the workers need to stop eye balling the females including my wife which is very unprofessional. But that is not the reason why I stopped going. Its definitely not a 5 min car wash. More like 20min. I've always paid for the inside and out service and was never satisfied. Carpet was not vacuumed right or smudges on the windows and dusty dashboard with streaks. They go quickly through the inside so can't expect much. I used these guys for the first time a few weeks ago. Price for a wash, wax spray and mats wash ( specifically requested no perfume spray in car ) was about $26. Prices are expensive and my truck still had spider webs and bugs on the outside and sand and dust on the inside. I asked the manager for a cloth to wipe down the inside and he just handed it to me. Today's wash was just ok. The first thing I noticed was another price increase. Whatever. I usually go to prime shine these days, but if I'm lazy and want someone to clean the interior, I come here. So, for $19, I'd expect a little more than a quick wipe down. The windshield is still dirty, inside and out. The weather tech floor mats are still dirty and look like they weren't even taken out of the car for vacuuming. I saw a manager direct one of the kids to wipe down other weather tech mats. The same kid didn't do mine. If this is considered a "micro detail" or "concierge" service, that's lame. It wasn't busy, but still took about 40 minutes to get outta there. Thought they closed at 6, but the actually close at 5. So when I got there at 4:50 and realized my mistake, I expected them to be more anxious to get out of there than actually do a good job on my van. Instead, they took their time, removing all of the mats, and even took it around for a second vacuum once the mats were removed because they saw we had just returned from the beach... I was told that i could pull back and have the car redone which at that point did not have time to do i had to be somewhere. I've been going to 5 Minute Car Wash for more than 30 years. I'm always treated well and have come to know and trust the Fenley family quite well over the years. I am very particular about washing my cars. A few years ago, I tried saving a few bucks by using the Prime Shine Unlimited Wash Program. But the wear and tear of their equipment on my vehicle tore off accessories and simply dulled my paint and headlights/taillights after just a few months. I found myself back at 5 Minute, where Brandon took the time to explain why the quality materials used at 5 Minute Car Wash make a difference in the quality of the wash, as well as how it won't affect your paint like the cheap stuff used at the cheaper places do. I'm always happy with the service and cleanliness of my car after it's done. If I'm not, I flag down one of the employees, point out the issue, and they take care of it right there. I don't go home and 3 days later complain because they missed a spot or forgot to wash some out of the way piece. If you want your car detailed, pay to have them detail it. By the way, this is my first Yelp post. I've read a few of the negative reviews and I'm puzzled as to how some people think that a $20 car wash is going to revitalize their 1985 POS car to look brand new again. Come on. Really? You think it's the car washes' fault that they weren't able to get that car spotless when you haven't washed it in a month? So upset about this because it's a brand new car and these people don't care about how to take care of it and don't even do much to clean it. Extremely disappointed!! I can not believe this happened to me.. my family and I have been coming here for years. Today as I got my oil change I went over to get my car wash. When my truck came out a big chunk of paint was missing from the hood of my truck. Now I went over to talk to the first person I saw. Apparently he happens to be the owner. He went on to tell me something that I believe to be BS. "Normally all white GM paint is cheap sorry we can't do anything for you" keep in mind there is a chunk of paint missing from my truck! After going back and forth for a while the end result was giving me the option to run it through the car wash again.. he must not be that smart. Why in the world would I run my fucking truck back through the car wash that scraped the paint of my truck in the first place! Knowing that he wasn't working with me I said the least they can do is at least give me a full detail which is nothing compared to having repaint the hood of my truck. Then it happened! He had the nerve to get loud with me and started yelling about not being responsible.. I will say this without caring one bit! He is extremely lucky I was in an okay mood if not It would've ended bad for him! 1. Don't get loud with people.. you never know what they can do to you and 2. You are supposed to be the damn owner! So you are meaning to tell me that you rather loose a customer for life instead of comping a damn detail!? That's unfortunate!
