I was surprised to find such an exciting outdoor adventure spot right on the edge of Dallas. The staff was fantastic--friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. The park features nine aerial adventure courses, each offering different levels of difficulty, making it perfect for all skill levels. Every course was a thrill! We spent three hours tackling as many challenges as we could and completely lost track of time. This is a fantastic destination for families and groups looking for a fun and active outdoor experience. We'll definitely be back!

You will have to buy gloves for the activity so you don't mess up your hands while doing the courses or they also do have them for sale in the entrance for $10 each pair. Upon checking in, 2 people at the front aren't the best at customer service, not welcoming at all. Our instructors tho were amazing and we thankfully got out into a bigger group and we all had a blast. Very shaded activity as well, no need for a hat in my opinion, they also had free lockers.

The hour-plus experience was packed with clever, brain-stretching scenarios that kept us fully engaged from start to finish. The staff were friendly, professional, and completely committed to their characters, which made the experience even more immersive. As first-timers, we appreciated the guidance along the way, and it absolutely did not disappoint. We're already planning our return to tackle the other escape rooms! Chow.

Overall, a really challenging but exceptionally fun room. One of the best I've done in DFW. This location is really the grandfather of DFW escape experiences. Don't let the location or look of the building fool you - they really do a great job with their three (soon to be four) rooms. Also, the pricing is one of the better deals in DFW. Just can't praise the design and overall set production enough. The staff and owners are first-rate, friendly, and just love escape rooms. One of them even wrote a book on escape room design (which we bought)! We'll be back for the third room (already did Captain Skully) and, once complete, the fourth room.

The weather outside is a gorgeous, sunny, breezy 65 degrees. You don't mind spending $13 per person to balance on tightropes 5 stories up in the air. Now is the perfect time to conquer Howler's Peak. Our group of 3 went out around 2pm on a fall weekday when most kids are in school, so we had no wait at all. The staff quickly helped us get harnessed up, then we were attached to the safety track snaking throughout the course and set free to roam at will. From the ground, it doesn't seem too tough. You can see that many of the paths look like sturdy wooden-looking ladders on their sides, with plenty of stable foot landings and hand-holds for your crossing. However, once you climb up the stairs to each level, you realize that many paths you must cross are only rope, or with large breaks between tiny foot holds, and few or no handholds. The wind feels stronger up there, balancing takes more effort, and everything seems to sway a bit. Even though you know that there is no way the safety harness can let you fall, it is quite a feat to overcome your brain's message to your body, "Hey, dummy, you're about to plummet to your death!" After going around the 2nd and 3rd stories, including 2 thrilling zip line paths, my 8 year old had had enough. He was ready to get his feet back down on the ground, but I knew it was my duty to continue on. I had to show him (and myself) that even though I was nervous, I was not going to quit until I reached the top. From 30 feet to 40 feet to 50 feet I climbed, as a crisscrossed my way around the course. My goal was the top southwest corner of the structure, where I'd jump down to the ground. I've never been interested in bungee jumping elsewhere, as I question the safety & maintenance of the equipment & training of the staff at most of those tourist trap, beach town places. However, the staff & equipment at this attraction made me feel that risk was minimal. Once I made it to the prep station, my harness was transferred to the pulley system and throrough safety check was done. At that point, I just had to make my legs walk off the end of the platform. Wheeeeeeeeee! I'm probably not going to start base jumping any time soon, but man, that was fun. I'll definitely be coming back to do this again the next time I'm visiting Great Wolf. By the way, even if you aren't a guest of the hotel, you can experience Howler's Peak for $25. Closed-toe shoes are required, and I recommend that long hair be secured and sunglasses worn if it's daytime. For little kids under 48 inches, there is a smaller version of the course on the ground, with a smaller fee and no harness required.

I would say, however, that this place is worth the price in any case as a at least one time experience because it's a great mix of challenges and a lot more fun than expected. The guides were helpful, and everything felt extremely safe. I've done high speed (like 40+ mph) ziplines in Europe, and honestly this was just as if not more fun. Part of that is because the speed is more tame you can actually be more present to witness the nature!! I enjoyed the obstacles and general navigating around a lot more than expected as well. There are a few variations to make these courses more or less challenges depending on your physical fitness level. I really underestimated how much I would love going here. Super fun date idea, family experience or cool thing to do with a friend. I have great memories from this whole experience and Oak Point is one of my most favorites areas in general of all of DFW!

I am an athlete and offer you should not go if you are not physically capable. Injured? Don't go. Also, if you are a group or have children, let others pass you as you will slow them down. Staff are not on the course. Do not expect them to come help you. Be self sufficient. Set reasonable expectations for yourself. And don't worry about what other people think. Hydrate. This is physical exercise. And have fun! This is fun! Be free with yourself and your companions. Laugh! Connect with nature. Enjoy challenging yourself. Try something new. Why 4 stars instead of 5? Staff are inconsistent and so is the upkeep. For example on today's visit one of the ropes was broken but I was allowed to use the obstacle anyway. That seemed very unsafe to me. The locks are malfunctioning etc. But overall we enjoy coming out and will continue to do so.
