Lots of work out equipment/machines. Cross fit and other group fitness classes. Open basketball courts. Rooms for your company to have meetings in or to have a birthday party in. There are also art classes and a recording studio, just to list a couple other things you can take advantage of. Staff is really nice and helpful. Lots of parking as well. Get a membership here and take advantage of the many things you can do here. Support your city facilities to help better yourself!

Our only complaints, some staff are unable to answer our questions & point us to the website, which wasn't able to answer our question to start with... for example, one of the main reasons we joined, after visiting in person, was the summer camp. We went home to join & register online, as was suggested by staff (versus registering in person at the facility), to find out the summer camps were already full. You can't tell that the camps are full online, until you've already purchased a membership. Staff should have had knowledge of camps being at full capacity & been able to tell us that information during our tour of the facility. A plus for us, the family swim hours, swim lessons, & family changing areas. We also love the indoor walking track.

But hey, to each their own! I've swam in the ocean many times. Sharks have been spotted there so maybe this is similar!? Just know that you can potentially knock "swimming with alligators" off of your bucket list by swimming at this lovely beach;). This beach park also includes gravel parking and four, nicely spaced shelters with picnic tables and grills, not a bad place to spend an afternoon or evening;)

I recently became a member of this gym and have been very disappointed with my experience so far. I…read morebring my younger son to the gym so he can play basketball, but the courts are often dominated by older men who take up the space for extended periods of time. Unfortunately, things frequently get heated, with verbal exchanges and behavior that feels like it could escalate into physical altercations. In the six weeks I've been coming here, at least four of those weeks have involved some type of incident on the basketball court that caused people to rush over to address an issue. This has made the environment feel unsafe, especially for children. I do not feel comfortable allowing my son to be in the facility without me present. Today was especially disappointing. Our side of the court was following the rules and not involved in any issue, yet we were told to leave because the gym was closing 10 minutes early. A manager approached us abruptly without any apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience, which felt very disrespectful. The gym itself remained open, but the entire court was shut down, and there was no advance notice of the closure. I did speak with the manager, who stated this is their policy whenever there is an altercation. However, given how frequently these situations occur, this policy feels poorly managed and unfair to members who are not involved in any wrongdoing. Additionally, the overall customer service has been lacking. Very few staff members appear welcoming or engaged, and the experience today highlighted a lack of professionalism and empathy toward members. I would like to enjoy the services this gym offers, but the recurring altercations, lack of communication, inconsistent enforcement of rules, and poor customer service make it difficult to feel safe or valued as a member.

In addition to exercise, the rec is always buzzing with community activities like arts festivals, kids karate classes and Senior dance lessons. You can also rent space there for parties and family gatherings at a really low rate. The only drawbacks would be the weekend hours (they don't open until 1pm on Sundays) but I can deal with that given the dollars saved by switching our gym membership to the rec center.

We parked in the wrong lot and had to walk alongside the gym in order to get to the playground and I couldn't believe how beautiful the pathways were with all the trees and the small creek running alongside. Not what I expected from a city park! The playground itself ("Kid Country") is almost fully enclosed and is a sprawling assortment of things to climb up, swing on, and slide down. There is a play area in the toddler section with storefronts to spark pretend play. The ground is bark. There are large trees in the center of the play area that provide shade and make the play structure look more natural than your typical playground. Almost like a tree house. There are benches scattered throughout the play area and a large covered pavilion with multiple picnic tables underneath. The city of Coppell provides free WiFi there and there were multiple moms with laptops out, working, while their kids played. The only big negative is the distance from the playground to the bathroom. I understand that they probably built the bathrooms more toward the center of the park, but the wise choice would have been to also put an additional small restroom right next to the playground. It's too far of a walk for me to feel comfortable sending my younger kids over there alone and it's kind of a bummer to have to wrangle together the entire group every time one kid has to pee. The bald ref counts EVERYTHING! if your hand is not completely together hitting a serve ball, you are done, son! he stops the game all the time and it gets annoying because we just want to play. We are not pros!!!! Another complaint is customer service: I ordered four burgers with my groupon. It took him 45 mins to bring them out. Ordered at 5:30pm, came out at 6:15pm. My game was at 6:15pm. I inhaled my burger in 30 seconds because I had a game. Instead of putting in my order when he was suppose to, he chose to eat his first before putting my orders in. Then forgot about it and came back out to ask me again. I told two different guys the same order three different times. I told him twice and once more to the guy in the back. The burgers were salty when they came out! I asked him about my order after 30 mins past. He told me it'll be ready when it's ready. That's really awesome customer service, guys....NOT!
