I got home and my tattoo was missing a nose, minor piece just a dot but still it makes a difference. I went back later that day and they said they could fix it the next. FASFORWARD THE NEXT DAY... i walk into the shop the apprentice is sick so now the actual tattoo artist has to fix it. Great. They did not have the picture of my tattoo up they just put whatever they felt looked right and when they asked if there was anything else that was missed they asked in such a rude way like they were being inconvenienced by fixing my tattoo that THEYRE apprentice messed up... i'm not going back there nor letting anyone close to me go to this tattoo business. i'm sorry this was so long.

Let them know I'd be coming after work (literally told them I get off at 7:15 in Elgin) she said sounds good. Yesterday I get there at 7:45 and they were gone! No one was there. Called and sent them a fb message. Not once did anyone mention they stop taking walk in at 7:30pm. I drove 25 min each way. Gas is around $5 a gallon. Their response was even crazier. Blaming being short staffed on Sunday but that was irrelevant. Then also told me I have to pay for new jewelry even if it is their fault on sizing. I wanted to love them so bad. The shop is so cute and the girls are sweet. But the lack of communication is ridiculous. Especially since I messaged them before 7:30pm yesterday to say I'm coming!

Earlier today, I decided it was finally time to get my third tattoo. Naturally, a quick google search resulted in a ton of options but I was familiar with the Warrenville area and drive by Noodles Tattoo Studio almost daily. The reviews were great and reading the FAQ section, I learned they took walk-in's, which isn't all that common these days. After reading this, I gave Noodle's a quick call and they advised they were very booked but would immediately call if anything opened up. About 45 minutes later they called with availability and I couldn't be happier that they did because I will never go anywhere else to get my tattoos in the future. Upon entering, the shop I noticed it was extremely clean and had a very homey feeling with some amazing art on the wall. I was greeted by Noodle (the owner of course), who was extremely down to earth, friendly and willing to assist me with my idea and answer any questions I had, which was a lot because I hadn't gotten a tattoo in over 8 years. After about only 20 minutes, my idea was already on the tracer paper, looked great and I was ready to go. Overall, Noodle was extremely professional the entire time, asking if I was okay and making sure I was comfortable during the entire process. I couldn't be happier with how the tattoo turned out and everybody else working around him was very welcoming and I felt like I had been going there for years. The price of the tattoo was extremely cheap. Cheaper than I paid for my other tattoos, which were much smaller. I could not recommend this place enough. If you are looking to get new tattoos, make sure you go to Noodles Tattoo Studio. From now on, I will always be loyal to this place. Easily the best experience I have ever had getting a tattoo.

I came with a printout of exactly what I wanted, but he made some minor modifications to the design to make it more tattoo friendly and make it fit. Grant was super nice, professional, has great taste in music, and was very conscientious about cleanliness and my comfort. He even gave me a cookie afterward because I was so brave. Everyone at Proton Tattoo was great and the facility was very organized and clean. I would recommend it to anyone.
