ONE experience with these dangerous operators was more than enough to never deal with them again. They are living in their own world and to heck with anybody in or around them. It is their way or too bad. Five points could care less about what the laws and rules are, they are to behave in reckless actions that put everybody anywhere near them in danger of bodily harm simply because it is easier for them. I'm sure Five Points is insured but last thing I want is my insurance to have to help cover their actions of putting everybody in harms way. Do NOT trust Terry Stevens and Five Points Excavating Inc.! He made it seem like he was going above and beyond to help me out, but what he said and what I observed were two totally different scenarios. Don't think he realized I was working from home and was able to observe the entire process (not once did he ever come to the site). And he does everything verbally so you have no leg to stand on and cannot prove that you agreed to something completely different than what you ended up getting. The only written thing that is done between you and Terry is that you agree to a certain dollar amount before the work is performed. The rest of the contract is verbal so it can change multiple times if you question anything. My bad for automatically trusting him because he was brought to my property by a pool company. Long story short, if you run into a "hard dig" situation (which is where I had a separate contract with Terry from the pool company "to save me money"), stop work and get quotes. And if you must work with Terry Stevens and Five Point Excavating, get a written contract so you can hold him to something. read more

I don't know where to begin this crew was sloppy hurried and caused damage on my property. I am in the process of getting a pool built and this was the company used. They ruined grading left uneven terrain and damaged all of my pavers nobody is taking responsibility and it's sad. I will consider changing the review after speaking to the company but beware. read more
