    Flounder and Sebastian!
    Leung Y.

We went in the first time while waiting for our food takeout. I used to be a Lego fans and spend every weekend in a Lego store because I live like 5 minutes away from it... so after I moved here I was looking for something similar, but there is no Lego store here! Walmart and Target are the next best thing and they are not even close! I was very excited once I found this place! We went on a weekend, lunch hour! The store was not very crowded. The top shelves wall was lined with displays of assembled pieces for sale. Some boxed items but not that much. Lots of bricks for sale (like the brick wall in Lego store). A lot of small parts like bicycle, boat, horses, etc... bagged. Easy to find and pick out. Many minifigures! It was my first time and eventually I figured out how the case was organized (by series, then like Harry Potter, Marvel/DC, etc). Would be easier if labelled but not that hard to figure out if you've been there before. We were looking for the Black Pearl and Captain Sparrow and no luck. I found Flounder and Sebastian, same price as eBay so we got them! YAY! The staff is nice. They asked if we want to join something but given we don't know how it works (and I was too hangry waiting for my lunch next door) we passed. Will definitely look into it next time.

Best Lego store for beginners AND EXPERTS! New and Used and affordable prices! Fun to spend time just creating new characters and more!

$4 each build a mini fig or 3 for $9.99!

This store is the coolest! We live around the corner and notice it often.. my 8 year old has been asking to come so we brought him, today, on his 9th birthday! There is a ton to choose from and everything is well organized and labeled. The prices are really doable too! We spent about an hour browsing through all the bins and shelves. The young man working was patient while we chose a few figures from the locked cabinets and he also gave my son a freebie for his birthday. It was so unexpected and extremely thoughtful, because he gave him one that we put back because of the price. As we were walking out, my son shouted "best day ever!" Thank you, five star bricks, for providing a unique experience to my Lego lover!! We'll be back soon!

At first the owner responded and made all sort of promises to get the Xbox back to me. After no shows or contact I got a whiny email how he was going through a divorce, lost his business, living in a friend's garage and working a shitting job. Now he has cut off all communication. I hope he's proud he embezzled a video game console from an 8 year old. To me he's nothing more than a thief

I really enjoyed my visit there and apparently it's run by the family. I was very impressed with the knowledge that they had about some of their Collectibles that were on display and for sale. I went in there several times because they were also a Amazon pick up and shipping store. While I was there picking up some items I really enjoyed looking at the things they had. I even came back and spent some time. Now if you're into card games or some of these other things this is the place to go. They also buy certain items if you have something you want to buy sell or trade. The things that made me interested was their Star Trek collectibles. I haven't seen items like this in 15 years which really excited me because I actually had some of those items, such as a Klingon Battle Cruiser that was still in the box. What to have some fun? Then visit this store.

They had what I was looking for! Also, saw a ton of aftermarket parts for ALL scales of Rock Crawlers, and the cars to g with them... I stared at one of them too long, and the sales-tech shoved the crawler in my hand and ushered me over to the rock crawl stage, in the middle of the store... I had a blast! Prior to my experience with this rock crawler, I had my research set on a different type... the hands-on experience helped me make a great choice. I picked one up a week later, for my grandkids. (Today) I saw and perused a LOT... yes, transmitters, receivers, planes, trains, automobiles...dolls, bears, think toys, frisbees, electronic and steam hobby... and even more Toy Hobby, not just crafts... Toy Hobby. I haven't seen such variety of beginner/intermediate/advanced electronic and toy hobby in one place. This. Place. Has. It. ALL. They talk, read, study, meet up, and exist together for a while. There's a different energy here that makes you want to slow down and be part of it. I love this place!!!!! There's more than just coffee and books here; there's a little community. There's a bulletin board filled with flyers for local happenings, book clubs, celebrations, etc. I came here one weekend to study and it, thankfully, wasn't too busy. The cashier was friendly and welcoming, there's WiFi, and a fair amount of seating. I can see this place getting packed during peak hours. One thing I noticed right away was a small book club meeting happening near where I was working. It helped me relax while I was focusing on my work! I think that's why so many of us like working in coffee shops... you can be alone while still feeling connected to other people around you. I'll definitely be back, not just for the coffee, but for the genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Thanks !

I originally went into find a book called before the coffee gets cold and ended up finding another selection that was recommended by one of the staff members called hot chocolate on Thursday. Once I had made my purchase I decided I wanted to really be immersed in the space and in one of my pictures you can see that I got a iced coffee with a blueberry scone. Both of the food items were perfect. The coffee had an amazing taste to it and the scone was unbelievably like perfectly buttery and not overly run by sugar even though it had sugar on it it just was perfectly balanced. The thing that I really enjoyed about this bookstore though was that it made me feel safe. I am part of the lgbtq+ community and being there made my soul and heart happy. I was surrounded by my community and I could tell just how happy they were. There was a group of folks in the middle tables starting to get ready for a small event it look like an art drawing event. The way they talked with each other and just the smiles they had on their faces made me smile so big. This place is a true gem within the area and if you ever have a chance to come in here to just be in a space of warm and belonging please do. And like I said the food they provide is super tasty and they have an array of selections regarding books and they can even order stuff online for you if they don't have it for pick up later. Hands down really really love this place.
