Would give this place 0 stars if I could. DO NOT BUY FROM FIVE STAR. Probably the worst customer service experience I received. You go in the store, Adam seems nice and helpful (obviously, he's trying to make some commission of your purchase). We ended up buying the couch. Adam didn't provide us with timely updates on when we would be getting the couch. After calling and basically begging for an update after multiple times, finally got a date. Long story short, this happened about 4 times because the date was never accurate. Every time we'd call to confirm a few days before delivery, Adam would say "oh sorry, another two weeks out." Terrible. Adam just continued to lie to us. Now let's talk about the quality of the couch. Within 6 months, the cushions started to sink. A year later, and it's basically not even comfortable to sit on anymore. Just called to ask for the insurance information (thank god we paid extra for it) and Adam tells us "we're very busy, I will call you back later today." I have a HUGE issue with this. I don't care how busy you are. I am a paying customer (of a $2000+ couch) and deserve the same attention. Very very rude. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE!!! read more

I bought a bed and mattress from there back in April 2022. The mattress started sinking in the middle in 2023 and I was still paying on it. I told them they ask me to take photos of it. I did all of that. They kept telling me they are working on it. Now it's 2024 and haven't heard from them anymore plus I'm still paying on it. I was referred by someone to go there. I wish I would have went somewhere else. I will never spend my money there and I told people if you're looking for beds and mattress don't go there. They don't help their customers. I am so upset about this. This mattress should have lasted many more yrs. I can't buy another mattress now, cause I'm still paying on this one. I do not recommend. read more

I would have given Five Star Furniture 5 stars. Instead, 3 stars. I purchased one queen-size bed and one dining table with four chairs & one bench-chair. Then almost three weeks later, I purchased two chairs, a coffee-table, and a rug. The sales person and also one of the owners, Nick was courteous and kind throughout the sales/ purchasing process. The price was reasonable. However, the shipping & delivery was subpar. The two delivery people wanted to leave the bed frame, box spring, and mattress, and dining table and chairs, etc. in the garage of my house and take off. I asked them to place the table in the kitchen and the bed in the master bedroom. While I was gracious that they carried the products to the two designated spots (and of course, I gave each of them a tip afterward), they assembled the table hastily and left it somewhat hazardous. (See the below pictures. The staples were sticking out, and I had to pulled those out.) The second time, I told the same delivery people to leave the coffee table in the garage. However, one corner of the table had been already damaged upon arrival. I wasn't sure if it happened during the transit or was already defective. (See below). Thus far, all the products are sturdy after 1 to 3 weeks of use. Overall, I'd purchase furniture again, for the 3rd time, from Five Star Furniture. read more

Very disappointed in their service. Bought a condos worth of furniture from this store. The sofa and love seat started to let out feathers not even a month after using. Owner was responsive about getting them switched out for us, but told us it wasn't possible due to COVID-19 and the factories being shut down. Now he has stopped responding back to us. PSA: I had the shadiest experience with Five Star Furniture. I tried to purchase a nightstand from the website for pick-up and the online transaction kept getting declined (my card was fine). I called the store and it turns out the nightstand was never even in stock for purchase and the entire thing didn't feel right. A few days later: thousands of dollars of fraudulent charges on that credit card. Five Star was the last place I used it. I don't know for certain if that's where the breach happened but it's a strange coincidence. Avoid at all costs! read more

We stopped in recently on a hunt an item of furniture. Very nice selection and we found what we were looking for. The ordering process and check-out process was super easy and they were so friendly. Then, our item got delivered a few days later. We live in an old multi-unit building with no elevator and the one man cruised right up several flights, holding a huge heavy box, without issue, and they put my furniture together lickety-split. Wow! Look, I know delivery fees are sometimes hard to swallow but I've always thought paying a professional was worth it. Just like their name - I'd give them 5 stars. The customer service was good while in the store. They were helpful, but not hovering. The price for my living room set was much lower than the other places I had shopped for the same brand.
