I had them relocate it into my finished basement. Because it has a big pipe vent that went out through my cedar shake shingle siding, some residing needed to be done as well as patching the exit hole. Drywall work, residing and all the small details were completed with precision as well as repiping the gas line. I'm very happy that I chose NWMC to work with again this time. Now that it's the second week of March, my wife called them on Sunday and she was told that someone would call us on Monday. No call. She called again yesterday and was finally told that the screen "got lost in shipment from the manufacturer". IF that is true, why was there no follow up on the order with the manufacturer? They said they could have one made and shipped in 2 weeks. Interesting. We declined because they should have known that the order was 4 weeks late. It was like night and day. I didn't spend a much time here initially because they didn't have the set I was interested. They have a good amount of inventory here but I am not sure it's the largest store in their chain, and the guy found where they did have it for me to take a look at. I came back here to order it after thinking it over and having difficulties trying to order from the other location, and Dana was incredibly helpful. In addition to the seating set I was looking at a particular umbrella as well, and she showed me the one I'd been interested in as well as showing me how it worked since it tilts. She pointed out the various fabric colors so I knew what the options were. And delivery was free, though the other location was going to charge $99 for that (this location is 5-7 miles closer to me, so maybe that's what it was). I was happy to find that I can get it all delivered (and assembled) this coming week. There's a ton of parking since it's in the shopping center right off the freeway--for now, that is. There were signs on the door when I visited today saying they're moving to another location in Skokie in the fall.

Yesterday I began what I thought was going to be a long drawn out process. Finding supplies to close out my above ground pool for the winter. It took one phone call to this location and it must have been my lucky day. I spoke to a gentleman named Ian , he couldn't have been more courteous , helpful, and outgoing. I told him what I needed and he took his time to insure I was getting everything. Our conversation ended with him assuring me he'd hold onto the supplies until I could get in there today to pick them up. I got there bright and early and true to his word he was there and so were all the supplies I needed and we spoke about. Wish I could leave less than one star. Bought a tub a few months ago. Salt water is so much…read morebetter and HotspringSpas are the top quality out there-- that was the pitch. The install crew broke the control panel on delivery. That was the first issue. Accidents happen, I understand. That delayed the initial startup by about 3 weeks as the part needed to be special ordered. Once that was installed and the crew left, I thought I could get on with using the tub I just spent 10k on. Nope. The heat/circulation pump wasn't working. Another scheduled service call-- another drain and refill as the water had gone green. After determining that the pump had been wired incorrectly- things worked ok for a few months... Until I opened the tub and it was green again-- the salt system had an error code this time. After agreeing to pay $150 (for a warranty service charge) to wait a week for another tech to come out-- I was told after about 5 minutes there is nothing wrong with the tub-- the salt levels are too high they said. That stops the system from making chlorine. I hadn't added any salt since the initial setup. The tech said it doesn't matter-- that salt levels rise on their own as they break down?? Hmm. Ok sure. Drain the tub halfway and refill per their instructions. So I do, and again the next morning- the salt system still shows HIGH, yet the test strip shows LOW. Another text (this is how you have to communicate with them) to the service line-- "oh well, you have to wait about 12 days for it to register". 12 days of stagnant water? The initial startup tech told me to avoid adding powdered chlorine as THIS would affect the salt system. I bring that up-- no one knows anything. I take a look at my credit card bill and see they charged me $270!? Not the ridiculous $150, but an even more outrageous $270 for two guys to come out for 5 minutes and say nothing is wrong. I text their "service" line again. "Oh well, $150 is what we charge if the issue was within warranty-- the salt system isn't covered under warranty so it's $270"-- for two guys to tell me nothing is wrong, on a tub I just bought a few months ago that isn't working. Fun stuff. Had I know from the beginning, I'd have never set foot in this place.

They offered credit, which initially seemed beneficial I paid monthly $75. However, after two years, I was surprised with a $1400 interest fee. They justified this by stating that the promotional period had ended, resulting in additional charges that exceeded the original price of the couch.
