This is hands down one of the friendliest places of business I've ever frequented. So much so that I felt compelled to leave my first Yelp review. I don't know the first thing about cars but the staff never pushes me to add additional services, chides me about how I should have changed the oil sooner, and has been incredibly accommodating whenever I stop in. I've had oil changes, help with rusted license plate bolts, and tire service all provided for me and every time I've been more than happy with the service time, cost, and result. I've been going to Five Star Lopez for approximately four years now. They've always been transparent on what needed to be done. They let me look and feel for myself. All charges are written down and you know exactly what they charge for each part. To me as a single woman I appreciate the care they give to let me know I can trust what they say. They all are really helpful and friendly. I let them know I was moving away and I was told I can call with any problems or questions I might have until I find a new garage. They wasted no time to fix my windshield wiper. But they charged me $20 just to unscrew it and screw it back in. The job took under three minutes. I personally think $20 is way too expensive to unscrew and screw in a windshield wiper. Normally it would cost me 5 bucks. Would not go here again for any car issues. read more

Went in to have them balance my tires. Assumed the work was done until a will later the steering wheel was shaking again. I called them and told them what was going on and that I was just in to see them two weeks ago to get the tires balanced. He referred me to Pete's Tire. Went to Pete's , they told me the balance was not done and therefore they fixed it. I am pissed that these people took my money and didn't do what they were paid to do. read more

My daughter goes to school at UWW and called saying she was having some issues with her brakes. These guys helped her with a flat tire at the beginning of the year and said they seemed nice. Told her to take her car there. They called me to let me know she needed brakes and I added in an oil change. Their prices seemed fair and the work was done the next day. My daughter and I were very happy with the service and the people. Highly recommend! read more

This place is running a scam shop! Purchased what seemed to be a good vehicle only to find out it was completely damaged. Upon arrival seller stated car only had a few cosmetic issues. Upon purchasing and taking to my mechanic it was discovered the vehicle had been in an accident and had MAJOR frame damage. I could have been killed. I contacted the seller requesting my money back and he said he no longer had it although it has only been 6 days from the purchase. I requested he swap it for another car he had on sale but said he had not title. I am now left with no money and no car. read more

This place is a total fraud and will take your money without any work done to your car. One of my friends went there to get their car fixed of a minor car crash and the owner asked my friend to pay the amount up front. They said it will take time to fix it. It took a almost a year to here from them. When my friend called they said its almost done. My friend called again to see if it was done and the owner said it just needs to be painted. He asked when will that be?? The owner it has to be a nice day to paint it (reminder my friend called a month ago and was told the car was almost done) a few weeks pass by and my friend asked if it was done yet?.so my friend called and asked is it done, but the owner ask if he can speak with him in person. He went and the owner said that it would cost another $1,500 to fix it. My friend ask why and asked to see his car and when he saw it the car wasn't even fixed. It looked even worse then before. It had no wheel and was parked with no work done to it and was asking my friend to pay more from original price was. I would not recommend this place at all to anyone read more
