This place was great! Took a wrong turn and buried my truck in mud and rock up to the cab. The guy with a tractor happened to be there and pulled me out. It was a lot of damage done to my wheels and undercarriage. Mechanic Paul had a couple of hours of cleaning the mess up and then he had to repair my vehicle. The communication was constant and excellent. Daily updates. Their shuttle service was great. The price was fair and the work and explanations were done professionally and quickly. This place is the absolute worst most exploitive place to take your car. They are absolute outright scammers who are all about exploiting you. Important. Anyone thinking about going to Advanced Auto Clinic in Delevan read all the 1 star reviews here and on Google Review before wasting 1 second of your time. The owners reply here contains prima facie evidence of fraud. A material omission of fact is fraud. Furthermore a misrepresentation of fact is fraud. Count 1. Owner of Advanced Auto Clinic hereafter AAC in his reply talked about 400 dollars in labor. That was never discussed. The 400 dollars related to cost of parts supplied by customer not labor cost offered by other shops. Misrepresenting a material fact is fraud. Count 2 Owner of Advanced Climic in his review below failed to communicate his labor charge for replacing timing chain his shop wanted to charge me was 4500. This is an intentional omission of material fact. When owners shop communicated 4500 cost I the customer knowing that another reputable shop would do for 1,200 and another shop spoke with would do for 1,500 rather than be conned by AAC I the customer immediately made arrangements to tow vehicle out of AAC. Count 3 Your written statement you conduct your business with honesty and transparency is the total antithesis of your shop attempting to extort over $3,000 more in labor costs than other reputable shops charge for same work. This statement by you constitutes a material misrepresentation ie fraud. Yes every customer needs to read all your customer 1 star ratings and take their vehicle elsewhere. And for the record two other reputable mechanics diagnosed time chain issue in 5 seconds. Yes 5 seconds. And yes your shop was told this before you did anything yet your diagnosis was "oh you gotta replace the engine" Really ??? After time chain and sprocket replaced by a reputable shop my engine and car runs awesome !!! Please know so that there is an official record on file we are hereby filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. read more

I just moved to Elkhorn, WI and was greeted with a huge basket of goodies from Celebrate Our Town and one of the gifts was service at Advanced Auto Clinic in Delavan. I needed an oil change so called Advanced Auto Clinic and was promptly greeted by Brandan who set me up with an appointment. When I arrived Marty was there and took all my information. As service was being performed on my vehicle Marty kept me informed on what was going on. My vehicle had never had such great care, when i went to check out Marty even showed me photos of the areas of the vehicle that may need attention. Both Marty and Brandan were fantastic, the tech guys were all great and I will be back for any future work needed and my oil changes. Great service on our BMW. We had the front and rear brakes replaced in the Fall. This Spring after only 4,000 miles the brake pad warning light came on. AAC discovered the clip that holds the sensor was loose. They installed a new brake pad wear sensor and the warning light did not return. Well done Advanced Auto Clinic! read more

Step-dad had his car towed in for a broken brake line. Was quoted $1700 to have it fixed. A week later we conversed via E-mail. The price went up to $!800. Then asked for a detailed list the same day, $2300. He paid $500 for the car in good running shape. Why so much for a brake line? Reviews on the Internet say it should run about $400, tops. I live in MN and was going to be out that way. They were able to look at my car on a Friday, and told me my issue was that I just needed new tires. Unfortunately they are closed over the weekend and I was leaving early Monday morning. We brought our car in because it was shaking and thought the alignment we'd gotten was poor. The mechanics showed us that we had a rim that was bent and wobbly but still recommended that we rebalance every tire. Then they told us we had a broken front motor mount so we spent almost $300 replacing that. Three months later, our struts break and we go elsewhere to replace them. The mechanic there tells us they are original to our 2002 car. Curious these mechanics at Advanced Auto Clinic didn't notice on their multi-point complementary inspection that we had 15 year old struts on the verge of collapse. In any case, what the later auto shop also discovered was that front motor mount was already broken again as well as the upper motor mount. Advanced Auto replaced the front motor mount with an off market brand of mount while still charging me OEM prices. When I call to tell Advanced about it, I ask them to also fix the upper motor mount as well as the front one. They tell me it will be EIGHT HOURS labor to put in the upper motor mount because they have to remove the engine. Well, the mechanic I was working with for the struts replaced both the front and upper motor mount and charged me for a hour's worth of work. You do the math. read more
