The employees sent would only partially pull the weeds in my flower beds and never treated the beds to prevent or reduce the amount of weeds between service calls. By the time of my next service visit (which was supposed to be monthly), the flower beds would be over grown wiith weeds. This fall, they did not trim the hedges or prune the plants in preparation for winter and now I have 2 DEAD Miscanthus Variegatus' in my front yard! The first time I complained about the lack of professional service I was receiving (which was in August 2017), Branden immediately corrected the issue and apologized for the inconvenience. However, and shortly after that incident...things declined again. I haven't received service since April/May 2018 and everytime I reach out to Branden and his wife, I do not receive a return message. Until, last year, I was very happy with my service and Branden literally saved a tree that is planted in my front yard that I hated, but now love, thanks to him. I wish his employees shared Branden's passion and had his horticultural skills/knowledge, because I would have remained a customer. But, because we can't clone him, it's time to part ways. I wish Branden, and Exterior Designs, the best of luck going forward.

Big Steve and Edwards both had very fair pricing and nice service over the phone, but I went with Kenny Jenkins on recommendation from a friend. Turned out to be a GREAT decision. Kenny Jenkin's had the lowest price (Steve and Edwards were very close) and the service was phenomenal. Michael (son-in-law of Kenny) and his team were fast, professional and very accommodating. I had a few small requests that they promptly took care of. They even cut up chunks of maple from the felled tree and put it in a box for me so I could use with my Big Green Egg. The tallest tree happens to be only 10 feet from the back deck. John did a phenomenal job cutting off limbs that were growing toward the house and deck, leaving the remaining limbs growing vertical. We live on a steep hill and the tree in question was in our backyard, limiting a company's ability to use a crane for removal. However, Solar had both the best price and the best customer service. I was contacted quickly, had the owner come out to quote within 48 hours, and the tree was down in about a week. The job was done in three days without a crane, which is impressive in itself, but they also cleaned up my yard of debris and put down hay for our grass to regrow. I literally only have good things to say about this whole experience and will certainly be using this company again in the future.
