I was rear ended and needed my car repaired, and was referred to Fix Auto by a friend who works in the collision repair industry. From initial scheduling to final pick up, I was very impressed with the service and communication by the Fix Auto team! Tony called to give me updates through the process, and their text updates made tracking progress easy. My car looks like-new, and the paint color for my new trunk is a perfect match to the vehicle. A small area on my car began to fail where Fix Auto Collision had repaired it in the past. I brought the car back in to have it looked at for evaluation. The manager at this location would not honor the Fix Auto Collision written warranty that states this particular repair was covered. My follow up emails to the manager were disregarded and not answered. Honesty, integrity and reputation doesn't seem to be covered by their warranty either. read more

My car was hit by someone that ran a stop sign. I managed to drive it home, and had to find an auto body shop for an estimate. I had my car towed to Fix Auto based on the reviews, and from there I received no communication whatsoever from them. They totaled my car, but didn't provide any estimate at all; just an empty invoice with a statement that read 'obviously it is totaled'. I asked over and over for a price, and no response. My car was still driveable, and should have been fixed! There is no reason I couldn't get a cost estimate, but they would not respond! After my insurance accepted the info that it was totaled, I asked fix auto when I could come and get my license plates off my car and get anything I left in it. Once again, NO RESPONSE!! I feel there are a bunch of lazy people working there, that could care less! Avoid this place at all costs!! read more

Brought my car to American Auto Body based on a couple of recommendations after a recent accident. I worked primarily with Cory and cannot emphasize how amazing their team is. I know they must have been swamped with the amount of post snow storm accidents and with the holidays but they gave me numerous updates about the status of my car, worked smoothly with my insurance, and finished the work in a timely manner. They were communicative and did excellent work! I hope to never have to use their services in similar circumstances again, but will always recommend them to anyone that asks me where to take their car. Someone hit and run my front fender so called my insurance. they recommended this place so I took it in to have it fixed. I was told it should be a bout a week, but it was there for a little over 2 weeks with no communication whatsoever. I had to call them multiple times as to when I'll get my car back. when I finally got a response on the status of my car, they informed me they had to take my car to their auto shop in maple grove and when it's fixed, they'll take it back to their BP location for me to pick it up, which I was fine. I picked up my car 2+ weeks later and noticed there was a huge gap between my hood and fender, the hood didn't open properly, and they messed up my fuel gauge, in which it no longer works. HOW??? I don't even know as their job was only to fix my front fender. They were willing to fix the gap and the hood so it'll open smoothly, but refused to fix the fuel gauge stating it wasn't their fault. OK. It was fine before I took it in, but got it back broken, whatever. was told it'll only be a few days, (should have know better). Took over a week to fix it, fine. picked it up and now theres a loud rattling noise. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! They'll just messed up your car and take no responsibilities!!!! read more

Communication was good, the staff I dealt with was friendly, and my car came back fixed as expected. They even covered the 20% of my rental car that my insurance didn't cover. Any car accident is a worry but if you are working with great carding people like Matt and everyone at American Auto Body Brooklyn Par Mn it certainly takes some of the stress off.. This company was recommended to me and even through they were not close to my home in Burnsville I felt very comfortable with them right away.. They explained all procedures.. How they come pick up car..drop off a rental.. Called with details of time, cost, it was 4th July wknd so would be just a bit longer..they msg me through the wknd and said my LILLY BLUE was enjoying her better look new fender, front,paint, bath,detailing & should be ready next day.. Right on time a call comes , LILlY BLUE, home ,the young man delivery her called her by name also & said how great she rode..everyone was wonderful..I don't want to go back but do highly recommend them & advise anyone needing this kind of service please use them.. I took my car to American Auto body after hitting a deer. My first impression was that I was in good hands, but my mind was changed rather quickly. The loaner I was "second on the list" for never happened. I had to borrow cars and hitch rides the entire 15 DAYS they had my car for repairs. Communication was poor on where my car repairs were at and when I could expect to get my car back. Then when I went to pick my car up, it was making a horrible sound that was not there prior to the accident. When I brought the car back to complain about the sound, I was told it was something related to general wear and tear. I took it to my dealership for a second opinion and was quickly informed the issue was NOT wear and tear and was most definitely related to my accident. So here I sit again without my car and another huge bill to pay. Ridiculous given the amount of time American Auto Body had my car and the amount of money I paid to have my car repaired. read more
