The…read morefirst time was ok-ish, though I found personal documents left in my vehicle that raised some concerns about them driving my vehicle outside the scope of repairs. Needless to say, I was really paying attention the 2nd time I had to take my vehicle there. I say had to because the shop I really wanted was having technical equipment failures and Danny's was the only other option. When I finally got my vehicle back, they had put over 100 miles on it, kept it past the day they were supposed to have finished the repairs, broke my inside paneling to the point that it will no longer stay in place preventing the rear vent windows from operating properly, and stole my gas cap. My gas cap is a locking cap and rather than asking for the key (which shouldn't have been necessary as my gas tank is a 33.5 gallon large capacity tank that was just above 3/4 full with a digital readout of 305 miles to empty) they broke into it and kept the cap. I'll never again under any circumstances trust my vehicle in the hands of the folks working at the Danny's Automotive in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. One star because the scale doesn't have negative options.

I have a 2013 dodge dart. I had error codes saying to service transmission so I thought "oh no!" this is going to be costly. :( this place had it for days and never looked at it. I towed it there Thursday evening and they had all day Friday. I called them at noon Friday to see if they looked at it yet but he said no and that he might get to it later that day if not then probably Monday. so I was patient and waited til Monday. I get it. They do have other cars to work on too. They are probably busy. I still had not heard from him by monday afternoon so I called him back. his name is mike by the way. he would not give me a straight answer. he just kept saying my transmission was shot and I needed a new one but a new one was going to be like $7000.00! supposedly. and he found a used one with 23000 miles on it with no warranty he could install for me for $3500! used! no warranty! I told him I wanted a warranty because that is too much money to spend and not have something. I did my research and told him I could get a brand new one from dodge for $3800 with a 2 to 3 year warranty and he said they didn't say that when I called! and started getting irritated. I then asked him again what the actual problem was because it may not be the actual transmission.(my car is 5 yrs old with 75,000 miles on it) he tried to change the subject and just kept pushing this used transmission on me saying it needed to be replaced. I wasn't about to spend that kind of money for no guarantees or warranties and without actually knowing whats wrong. so I asked him if he could check the ground wire and see if that was it and he cut me off mid sentence and said" you need to get a wrecker over here and take it to your dealer. let me know when they are on their way and ill push it out to the curb". so I said ok fine ill call someone else. I tried to get him to work with me to save me a tow fee but he clearly didn't want to work with me. he was very rude and unprofessional. I called aamco and they gave me a great deal on a tow and were able to look at it that same day. it turns out it WAS the ground wire. aamco got me all fixed up for a little over $300 and I didn't have to replace my transmission. I would NOT recommend B & D Automotive to anyone!

From minsdiagnosises, to the snarky and seeming dishonesty of the service advisor, the lack of urgency to repair and apathy to our situation, the entire experience was a disaster from day one to the month and a week it took to complete the repair. To give credit where it's due: when I finally spoke with the General Manager he called the service manager and made them finish our repair. But we were already five weeks in by that point. I even stated they would never have to see me again, to which the manager didn't respond and didn't seem to care whether or not he retained our business. Although I didn't purchase the vehicle there, I was looking for a dealership that is close to home for maintenance, service, and future purchases. I will definitely be looking for a different dealership and/or vehicle brand going forward. Dealerships with service department experiences like this are a big negative for car manufacturers. I have never felt less valued as a customer, it was very eye opening.

I contacted On Site and Allen came out, drove my truck and said that the issue wasn't the transmission but the front wheel bearings. He replaced them and solved my issue. $3,800 verses $550. I highly recommend this guy.

He did say that there would be restocking fee if I cancel the job. I didn't care because he gave me his word, and I trusted him that he would fix the car. He NEVER SHOWED. He said he was going to refund me $800 and told me to return the parts myself to Auto Zone. I did and was refunded $587. I asked him to refund me the difference so we can remain civil about this; but Alan only calls back when he wants to.....very poor customer service. To any prospective customer: DO NOT trust his word. He claims to be honest and sincere. He might be until he gets your money. I have our full conversation that turned sour if anyone is considering hiring him. I might even seek legal counsel if this review does not make him refund the money.
