I had two leaking windows that I needed fixed. The process of coordinating an inspection was smooth, and what stood out to me about this company vs. other handymen we contacted was that they actually explained their proposed solution, part of which was investigating/understanding the root cause of the leak vs. pivoting immediately to "reinstall window" or "re-caulk". My trust was validated when the team they sent were able to identify some exterior stucco cracks as the source of the leak and even did some testing with our garden hose to verify. Communication to schedule was fast, and the job was completed in a timely manner. We did get some rain recently, and I didn't see any leaks, so hopefully that's the end of that! Will definitely consider them again for other home repair projects. read more

Used the Fix Brothers to refresh some kitchen cabinet doors and drawers. Some of our doors were no longer aligned or soft closing and some of our drawers were not opening or operating smoothly. Scheduling with them was easy and they were quick to reply and schedule. Not waiting days or weeks to have the work done. The person who arrived at the house was professional and clean. After working on the drawers it turned out one needed more extensive repairs. I contacted them the same day and had an appointment scheduled timely. I am very happy with Fix Brothers. They recently completed a major repair and partial redo of my bathroom. The work included replacing a damaged wall, installation of a new bathtub, new shower fixtures and door, replaced damaged pipes, installed new shower tiles, floor tiles, a new toilet, replaced damaged bathroom lights with new recessed lighting, and painted the walls and ceiling. It look beautiful and it's functional. In addition, they replaced a broken lock, door knob and installed a new front door. I feel much safer. I highly recommend the Fix Brothers. Ivan from Fixx Brothers was excellent. On time and completed 3 projects in less than an hour. The only issue was at the end of the job he didn't know how much to charge or how we could pay. He called the office and had me speak to someone. All the parts/products were supplied by me. The original quote was $380- $450. They were asking $400. I just didn't feel 1 hour worth of work using my parts was equal to $400. I paid them $380. Someone contacted me a few days after the job was completed and said they had not received payment. I wrote a check payable to Fixx Brothers and handed it to Ivan. Maybe next time check with your worker. Office seems disorganized. They also mention that before they start a job once the worker is on site they will quote an exact price before they start. That didn't happen. read more

I called Fix Brothers to find out if they could replace my kitchen sink faucet. They agreed to come the following day. The guy showed up right on time. He was very polite and got right to work. The faucet was very old and he couldn't get it loose with the tools he had, so he left to go get more tools. He came back and worked on it for a quite a while. He still couldn't get it loose. It was really rusted and wouldn't come off. He finally had to leave for another job. But George, who I had been communicating with the whole time, told me he would get someone there later that day. Our water was off and we weren't able to turn it back on, so we were really hopeful they could finish that day. It took a while for the same worker to finish his other job, but he came back at 8pm that night. We couldn't believe it. He had to cut the faucet off the sink, but he was able to do it without damaging our sink. And he was able to get the new faucet in. We are so happy with it! We will definitely hire Fix Brothers again for other jobs. Thank you so much for sticking with this job until the end even when it wound up being much more challenging than any of us expected.
