I will continue to post this complaint to warn other customers to NOT contact this business! The owner is the most disrespectful, dishonest, crude, unprofessional personal I've EVER dealt with. He runs his company on lies and scams. My story is like ALL the others: spent little time in diagnosing the problem, did NOT fix anything, charged an exorbitant amount, and will not refund after proven he didn't fix anything. This is a failing company trying to stay in business and only scams customers to profit himself. Incredibly unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude. Off the bat, Heath (our technician) was very rude and sassy during the initial diagnosis; giving him the benefit of the doubt, of people having a bad day- I let it slide. However, on the day of repair I advised I had a meeting during the time period he provided- he said that's fine since parents were home to let him in. He finished the job and I was finishing the meeting to give him payment, but instead of allowing time for me to come downstairs he decides to holler and walk upstairs to demand it from me. What in the world would give someone the audacity to do that??? I come downstairs to see him knocking off the blinds to a window, and raising his voice to my parents in THEIR HOME! Not caring that there were CHILDREN present when profanity was being used. I understand if I was refusing payment, but asking for a moment to finish what I was doing to come and PAY and still be met with this level of unprofessionalism is ridiculous. I asked for them to leave in which he spouted a mouthful of profanities (B****, dumb h**, etc), when I did not say anything rude but for him to leave. This outfit is not worth your time. They have never heard of 'Customer Service'. My refrigerator was leaking water onto my kitchen floor. I made the mistake of calling this place. They arrived the next day in a small white car. Not a service truck. Ray & Brian determined that the leak was due to a failed water pump. And guess what?! They had one. Lucky day. For a mere $380 and 30 minutes of their time...I was fixed. Until the next day when my floor was covered with water again. That was weeks ago. They have texted me that they could show up but never did. Turns out...that when they fail to fix the problem, it is MY responsibility to work around THEIR schedule. I drive a school bus for special needs children. They suggested that I take time off. Uh...no. I'll be calling another company. But I have some suggestions for anyone considering using these wonderful folks. #1) Call a different company. #2) Watch them every moment. #3) Get an itemized invoice. #4) Ask for the broken part. (I was not offered the part) #5) PAY IN CASH and get a receipt. I owned and operated a service business for 25 years. He threw my clothes hangers out of his way, with them falling everywhere ... I asked him to please not throw the hangers that I would put them out of his way. The company works on bad faith. The repairman that showed up was not prepared, having to borrow a screwdriver from me. The repairman then claimed they would "fix" a plug problem for my dryer and instead installed an insane fire hazard. The plug installed is supposed to be enclosed inside the wall but instead they rigged together a plug that sticks out of the wall and does not have a cover allowing dust and lint to be trapped inside the exposed wiring which will start a fire. The repair guy also stole the screwdriver he borrowed. This unprofessional repair guy is either grossly incompetent or highly malicious. read more

This was my original review because they said I would get $20 off for a good review: Fix It Right did a great job fixing our dryer. They came out the day we called and Julian was super nice. The price they gave us was better than any other price we were quoted. I would definitely recommend Fix It Right! Here is my updated review: The next day my dryer broke again after they "fixed" it. When we called there was no answer. But, it was also a holiday so we kept trying back over the weekend. On Monday we called and they said they would call us back but never did. Now we have another company here fixing our dryer. So now instead of paying for one repair company to come out, we have paid for two. Ridiculous. I was so happy to find a business that could repair my refrigerator; I boast about them. However, the day the technician appeared to rehab my refrigerator was one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered. It was a misunderstanding on my part regarding service and repair; me being upset and contemplating whether or not to continue and allow the technician to repair the refrigerator. They had spent 5-10 minutes in my garage; they grew upset, started yelling about how cold my garage was and called me all kinds of bitches, and too dumb. I asked the technician to give me the receipt to sign while waiting for my mother to pay the service cost. Although I was not right, I felt compelled to return his clipboard by tossing it to him because of what he called me and him up in my face yelling. I told them fucking get out of my house and that I would bring the cash to them outside my house. I did as promised and brought the payment; the service cost was $70, handing them $80 and expecting $10 in return. Simultaneously, once I gave them more than was rendered, they drove off; I had my hand on the drives door handle, knocking on the driver's side car window, and I shouted he owed me money. Upon their driving off, the technician's partner repeatedly called me a nigger. I called the police, and they arrived expeditiously quickly. I reported to the police what had occurred, and they gave me recommendations on what to do next. read more

Heath was extremely rude when servicing my dryer. It started when he completely disregarded my drive way & drove across my lawn to my house. He was so short with me &, treated me like I was stupid. I had picked up the manual to look at & he scoffed and said "don't mess with that, if the techs come they'll need to look at that" to which i responded "i am a tech" & then he was apologetic. But the damage had already been done. He threw all of the dryer parts onto the ground & then when he was finished theres still a piece left over that hasn't been put back. I asked him how much one of the parts costs & he said "dirt cheap... for me". Yet I still had a 220 invoice. Your customer service is dirt cheap & the way i was treated left me sick to my stomach. I had to give one star just to post this. This is the same company as the one in Murfreesboro, Tn. Heath arrived at 1pm. He looked at the Refrigerator for about one minute, and said a refurbished electric board would be $120; and he could return tomorrow. His tone changed to impatient and irritated after I asked if he could fix it today. He said he could not drop everything, go to the warehouse in Nashville just to fix my refrigerator. He could not believe the people who "have to have it now." I explained that I wasn't trying to ruin his day, and I didn't appreciate the attitude. I was just asking; and that I didn't know his schedule or where his warehouse was- I work for a living too. He asked for charge card payment $60 "service call fee" which is supposed to go towards repairs. I asked if he wanted payment for the part because I would try to have someone at the house for a reschedule. He said he is the owner and reserved the right not to repair my appliance. After leaving, he called back and said he would fix it today if I paid the "Fluff" fee..." the "people who have to have it now fee," "catering fee "of $320.00. I would not recommend to anyone based on the level of unprofessionalism shown by the gentleman that showed up to assess what the issue is with our appliance. He came in and argued with Direct TV for the first 10 minutes!! Which was very odd, but i kind of understand because I am not a fan of Direct TV. Before he took anything apart to diagnose, he said the whole board and sensors need replaced? When I asked how he could know that without looking at anything, he be came very irritated and almost combative. He took the back of the fridge off as he was huffing and puffing, then was hollering about his wife or the office lady that never writes anything down and cant remember shit... After letting me know that Samsung is shit and i would need to call them to find out specs for his diagnosis, he got on the phone with the local parts and yelled at them... He then told me I could sign a waiver and he could install used parts from his truck....??? RIP OFF! DO NOT EMPLOY THIS COMPANY! TRUST THE BAD REVIEWS.I called the number to schedule some work on our dryer, and the woman explained to me clearly that there was a 60$ fee to come and diagnose the issue,but if we decided to do repairs the fee would be waived. $120 for labor plus whatever parts. I called her again to make sure of this policy. I was at work when they came by. My gf stated that two men came in, and Heath was carrying a pistol. This made her uncomfortable as she was in the home by herself. Meanwhile Heath made comments about things being "retarded" in a rude manner. Heath quickly diagnosed that the issue was a switch, fixed it, and wrote up a ticket without explaining the breakdown of the work. $190. The bill did not explain the breakdown either. After I learned of the price I knew rhat they had not waived the fee. I called the nunber and explained this, followed by a call from Heath. He very rudely explained that we were not charged the diagnosis fee and that the part was $70. This didnt sound right and my gf looked up the price of the part. It was $10. She called their number and explain this and was met with attitude and resistance. The woman told her to tell someone else what she was complaining about and hung up on her. I dont expect to get back the money we were swindled out of, and certainly not an apology. Do yourself a favor and go with another company.
