If l could leave a 10 star review, I would! Alex and his team at Fixoid are the best when it comes to tech repair! They have saved me so many times with various phone issues I've come across over the years. When Apple told me to go kick rocks and buy a new phone when I had an iPhone stuck in some weird boot loop, Alex got it figured out somehow and everything on the phone was restored to how it was previously! Screen repair, battery replacement, earpiece replacement, chargeport replacement they done all that and more without any issues! Now in a world where we heavily rely on our tech, smartphones specifically, keeping all passwords, business data, personal data, and security is pretty solid. We never expect something to happen to our phones to the point where they are not responsive. So I missed a few backups that I probably should've done. And suddenly phone is smashed, front and rear glass, half of the display turns on but not responsive. Can't unlock, can't do nothing. Filed a claim with insurance, they send me new phone! Awesome! But now to transfer my data and everything with all the latest information, well can't do that since totalled phone won't unlock. Security. And can't risk doing a factory reset to lose all my valuable info! One call, Alex at Fixoid, they took care of it! Where the new phone was literally my phone before the incident! All apps that were open previously, still open, just like hitting resume from where I left off before phone got destroyed! Saved me BIG TIME!! On December 20th I was in Vancouver with my 15 year old daughter Nikki, visiting some family and grabbing lunch at Golden corral in Orchards. As we walked out to our car, my daughter's phone slipped from her hands and ended up on the ground, hitting the top left corner and completely shattering the screen. She started crying because she just got this phone on Thanksgiving from her boyfriend as a gift. He worked really hard and the gift meant a lot to my daughter. Plus, she was using this iphone for homework. So, you can imagine how she felt. At first, was kind of mad and angry that I may have to spend a few hundred bucks on a new phone, but then I decided to look for a repair place nearby. A quick search pointed me to Fixoid, who were only half a mile from our disaster zone :) We went in and spoke with Mark. He was very polite and knowledgeable about this phone and made us feel at ease about our incident. Apparently, this kind of story is something they hear all the time and broken screens are nothing new to them. After a few minutes of asking some basic questions, like price, type of repair, how long it will take, warranty, etc. I realized it would be under $100 to have it repaired quickly vs a few hundred to replace with a new phone. Mark took the phone in and about 20-30 min later emerged with not only a new screen but also the bezel (frame) which they were kind enough to replace because her old one was badly indented in the corner and apparently it wouldn't help the new screen seat well in the old frame. The additional fee was very reasonable and after seeing this phone come back from broken to almost "like new", my daughter started jumping from joy. First things first, ill have to say these guys are the best! I had went into best buy to have my computer repaired. They looked at it and told me the charging port will need to be replaced. They told me how much it would cost, which was spendy but that's not what got me. They told me they would need to send it out and it would take up to 3 weeks. I can't wait that long, due to my work needs to be done in a couple of days. So they have recommended Comprite for this job. I didn't really recall them, but they said they do a really good job. So I figured I'll try them out. So I arrive, and I was greeted right away, I felt very welcome. I have told them my problem, and they already knew what needed to be done and how long it would take. They gave me a quote and a time frame, for how long it would be to repair. Their quote was very good and resonable. They told me it would take a couple of days to get the part, and they would install it the same day! I agreed, and had them do it. I was risking it since I didn't really know of them. So I hear from them in a couple of days, they had got the part and installed it. I can't express how happy I was to hear that in only 2 days my laptop was all fixed and working! They actually stood by their promise, and they did exactly what they said they would! I am sooooo happy I gave them a chance!! You guys should too, you will NOT be dissapointed! I FEEL LIKE I'VE BEEN ROBBED!!!!!! RUN, DON'T WALK, AS FAR AND AS FAST AS POSSIBLE AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!!! ZERO STARS!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID... AVOID... AVOID!!! DO ANYTHING YOU MUST TO AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! Yes, I'm shouting because I don't want anyone else to waste their valuable money and DAYS without their device the way I have. This business is AWFUL, TERRIBLE, HORRID, RUDE, NASTY and ultimately WORTHLESS!!! I can't and won't go into any specific details because lets face it, they have my name and address plus whatever else they may have "snatched" from my phone. (I've already changed all of my passwords and account details.) I will say I took "it" in for diagnostics two weeks ago and after keeping it 3 days was told "nothing" was wrong. I explained again and again what "it" was doing and was treated very poorly. They were so condescending! Their diagnostics "knew everything" and IF there were problems they were all MY fault. I heard everything from it was user error, I needed better internet, less apps... they even suggested the problem was "metal buildings"?!?!? The device was definitely not working so I sent it back east for the "Company" to fix. Nick, one of the sales consultants and the repair technicians were great! I live in Vancouver and used to go to a good Mac store in Portland but hadn't gone for some time due to more location and time inconvenience with my work schedule. My iPhone was having issues charging, and I put up with that inconvenience for a year till I finally went to go get help and saw their repair shop ipen nearby and with convenient hours. I walked in on a Friday afternoon and was helped promptly by Nick who realized my chargong problem was a simple fix of cleaning out lightning port--within a few minutes charged perfectly! After that he noticed that my screen was loosening and at risk of getting water damage and recommended and fixed that within an hour on the same Friday afternoon. I then asked him a lot of other iPhone questions/wishes I had been saving up and he answered them all and even fixed me up with an adaptor that lets me charge my iPhone wirelessly like the new iPhones which I love! I was so impressed with his knowledge and professional attitude that I brought my wife and wife's cracked case back in which he also had fixed, and my wife is very happy about. I spilled coffee with mixed sweet sugar on my laptop which contained all my data (priceless doggy Bazooka and cat Maltica pictures and video and programs. The thought of having to start over with a new laptop made me dizzy; not to mention the expense and hours of shopping and work that was needed. I rushed my laptop to a local major mega store that prides itself on their tech support - and wasted plenty of time and money - only to be told the task of repairing the laptop is too costly and probably out of their league. I brought my laptop all in one tab to Fixoid and they accepted the challenge at a very reasonable price. They replaced and cleaned all the affected H2O damaged parts. I got my Laptop back and it's like it was never damaged. Laptop CompRite did a few major surgeries on my laptop and saved its life and mine; without bankrupting me! They are very friendly and service orianted, starting from brewing coffee for you to giving you access to their laptops while you are waiting to texting you when your item is ready. These guys are my heroes! Came back here yesterday to have my iphone 6 screen repaired. These guys did a great job fixing it on the spot. The only thing I wish was different is the original part turned out to be defective and they scrambled to find a new one from another local vendor, which I thought was amazing. Most shops would probably make you wait, but the technician and his boss went out of their way to help me out. Totally not their fault, but I appreciate everything they have done. The phone looks like new, all functions are perfect. Despite some negativity from others that I see here, I cannot agree with any of that at all. Thanks Fixoid for coming through for me again. Update: had another repair done on my Windows 10 PC. This time it was Ransomware that attached my operating system. Last week as I was on my way to a presentation with one of my customers up in Ridgefield, WA. I realize my laptop is acting wired every time I plug my western digital external drive to my USB. I thought it's probably drivers or what's not, but when I try to locate one of my files my computer, he crush and shot off!!! Not just that I can't get it back on!!! Confused and late to my next meeting I look for a place to put this back together. Yelp shows me this place close by my next meeting. So I stop by and they were awesome to save my day! The guy( sorry I don't remember your name) was right on top of it. I left it there for my next meeting working with my tablet for now, and about an hour later I got a call it's ready and working! Asked them to open a laptop, replace a non-system storage drive after attempting to clone the one they were replacing onto a brand new, factory sealed drive. Very simple, basic stuff, chores for trainees, essentially. They had a problem cloning the drive. Wanna guess why? Because they formatted an internal storage drive with FAT, that's why. The cherry on top is that when I left, they didn't give my power supply (which I had to rename a "charging cable" to be understood), so I had to turn around after I got home, to come back clear across town on Black Friday, to retrieve it. They charged me their blanket data transfer fee for the service of sticking an improperly formatted drive in my machine, after only able to transfer FAT sized files onto it because of that noob mistake. I think I would have been better off if I had takenit anywhere else, or even done it myself. read more

I'm no computer whiz, but I knew when there was something wrong with it when it was really slow, freezing up, blah, blah, blah. These guys took it in and diagnosed it quickly and affordably. I found out my computer was still under warranty by a big chain store and it was going to take weeks for them to handle this! I am a full time on-line student, so time is definitely not on my side. Not only did my hard drive go, but the whole thing decided to crash... These guys went way above and beyond to work with me, and this big chain, so much that I went ahead and bought a computer from them while waiting for these other yahoos to replace the one that went South. Fixoid did an amazing job and went above and beyond while fixing my MacBook Pro. Everyone was very knowledgeable, extremely helpful and maintained stellar customer service while my laptop was getting repaired. Fixoid originally quoted me at a price to fix my computers motherboard. When issues arose and there were additional problems that needed to be fixed, Fixoid completed the additional repairs free of charge. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Fixoid. I was charged $350 to have my hard drive replaced. It would have cost me $200 at the apple store. The hard drive then lasted for about 6 months. It should have been under warranty so when I took it back in they told me it only had a 6 month warranty. I looked up the hard drive online and it should have had a 3 year warranty. When I went to pick up my hard drive because everything seemed very fishy to me they returned to me a hard drive with no sticker on it and forceful damage to it. I then went to best buy to have a new hard drive put in which took 5 minutes and cost me $100. They gawked at the hard drive explaining to me they had never ever seen one with out stickers or so badly damaged. Thanks CompRite for your fishy, crappy and overpriced service. Hello my name is Bob and I live in Vancouver and have brought my LapTop , iPad Air and PC to CompRite for over four years now and have not gone to another store. I have found the sales, staff and service to be excellent , superb and timely. They have an excellent selection of computers , iPhones, iPads, Samsung and computer accessories. The staff and manager, Alex, have been curious and competent; their passion being one of helpfulness and understanding. They will go the extra mile to keep you happy. Although there is at least one computer store closer to me in Vancouver, I prefer to go to this company. The quality of the work done at CompRite is such that I would rather drive another twelve minutes to their store and get my computer , iPad Air and my wife's Sony fixed by someone that I trust and believe in. read more
