These kids are great. It's a real gem of a place. Kinda reminds me of how City-Bikes got me through my broke late teens and early 20's except they have very high quality products. I'll be honest, I'm kinda cheap. I don't do tons of video work or gaming, so don't need the latest/greatest... so forever I've been buying cheap laptos. I found this place through craigslist and got a great reconditioned unlocked phone for $100 which they helped me, in-store transfer my Verizon service to since I had a SIM card, so I KNEW it all worked great before leaving the store. They were even MUCH better than dealing with the actual Verizon store, because they actually knew in and out EXACTLY what they were doing. They had nice laptops at great deals too, so a while later when mine stopped working went to look at one they had advertised. It was a great deal, but it was a tablet w/ a keyboard which I'm not looking for. They just don't do too well staying right on your actual lap. So they hooked me up w/ a great deal on a Samsung S-book that retailed for $1,400.00 new 2 years ago, still around a thousand new today... for $380.00 cash! :) Plus, it's Verizon compatible, so can take a SIM card to add 15 gigs of BUILT-IN internet at full speed for $10.00 a month.... Add that to being able to tether another 15 gigs from my phone, and I pretty much have mobile computer internet wherever Verizon can reach. I absolutely LOVE these guys. Years ago I started a business trying to help the little guy have something nice. These kids seem to have the same idea. I'd have NEVER spent the money to get a really nice machine new from a box store, but this is just as great. The best part though, is the customer service. These guys REALLY know their products, and if the owner isn't 100% positive on something... his tech-guy he has in the back will know. Far cry from the hacks you'll find at Best-Buy or other box-stores who know absolutely nothing about anything and seem to be annoyed with having to actually speak to a customer. For those of us who remember what Customer Service USED to be like before the "F-you, deal with it" mentality took over everywhere, this is really a cool throwback to days when you had much more pleasant and fulfilling purchasing experiences. Only warning I may put out there, is they're only a 2 man operation, so it seems like they take their lunch at the same time which is smart these days, not just leaving one person alone in a high-tech shop. So maybe call first if going mid-day to see when they'll be closing to taking their 30 min lunch. If you arrive and they're on lunch, there's a lot to do around while you wait. Left my son's iPhone for a screen repair and have tried to call repeatedly day after day to see if it's working and there's never an answer; it goes straight to VM. I would think a phone repair business specializing in phone technology would have their own communication lines at least working. I've also text and emailed but no response. The following Saturday actually went to the store front and a sign was on the door stating they'll be back shortly. We waited an hour and doors were still shut. I'm wondering if we'll ever get our phone...?!!! read more

Could not have been easier shopping here. They have a good selection of used phones at all price points, and the salesperson was helpful, honest, and knowledgeable. I got a killer deal on exactly what I needed. I had been looking for a phone on Offer Up/CL but was nervous about buying from a random stranger since I know nothing about tech or anything. I felt good buying from this small business, they seem to know their stuff and they inspect all the phones they sell. The very competent Simply Tech technician replaced the broken glass screen on my Samsung Galaxy 8 at a much more affordable price than other businesses in Vancouver had quoted me. This allowed me to get a $400 trade in on a updated phone from T-Mobile which they had denied doing for me before. He also installed screen protectors as a courtesy on my new phones. Stopped in to replace my battery in my IPhone 6. Very professional and honest. After 5 minutes, I was on my way until I made a phone call and I could not hear the other person. I could only hear them on speakerphone. I took the phone back in and they cleaned out my ear speaker and did not charge me anything. They have great prices on phones and computers as well. Beware! took my Galaxy S4 in, they replaced the battery and the screen, worked for two weeks then the screen went black, took it back to them, after months of nothing they said the phone was unrepairable! I said but i paid you almost $200 for the screen and the battery, keep the unrepairable phone and sell the screen and battery to some else and give me back my money. a big NOPE! I had a good experience here. One repair was quick and easy; one took them more time and trouble than we were expecting. When it was looking like it wouldn't work out, they offered to remove the parts they'd installed, and not charge me. Happily, by trying a few more tricks, they managed to get my phone working again, and save the day. A very satisfactory experience. read more

After calling other places for my iPhone XS Max screen replacement I call simply tech and they they gave me the best price in the Vancouver area and even better than my insurance. I was very skeptical about the screen quality but I gave it a shot and I was amazed, it looks and feels like and original screen. I had an iPhone 5 that stopped working. I took it to the main Apple Store repair area after having to wait for two days for an appointment. I explained that I had pictures that had not been downloaded due to a communication glitch between my iPhone and my Apple computer. I had precious pictures on the broken phone of my son who passed away three years ago. I explained that these pictures meant the world to me and I really hoped to retrieve them from the broken phone. They kept my phone for a week. They made me drive all the way back to Portland and charged me for an evaluation and then told me the phone was not fixable and that they had no way to retrieve my pictures. I gave up for several months but then decided to take it to Simple Tech. I was hoping that maybe, at most, they could retrieve the photos. The young man at the desk took one look at my phone and replaced the screen. He then charged the phone for a little bit and the phone has been working perfectly since. I was able to retrieve all of the precious pictures that I thought I had lost. Well done Simply Tech! You gave me a wonderful gift! I am now a huge fan and tell everyone I know that they should utilize you for any phone tech problems. Shame shame on Apple. I will never trust their tech support again. read more

Funny. They reply a month later and tells me that there is a 14 day return window. Would have been good to know or been told that when I purchased it as the screen doesn't light up after a week of use. I just wasted $100. I told you I would be there at a specific time, 2 hours from the time I called and was 15 minutes early picking it up and now it is not available and I am offered one for $99 instead.
