Everything was perfect during his time.He really gave attention to his customers and was very helpful. I needed a transmission service last month so with the past good experiment I came to this place, again. My car stayed there all day and then they told me that I did need a transmission service. The front desk person told me that, they can rebuild the transmission with the cost of $ 4100. I asked him if they can find an used transmission and then install it. He told me ,sorry there isn't any used transmission they can find. I asked him, if I find a used one and they can install; he said they don't do that.7 So, his goal was to rebuild the transmission and charge me $ 4100 +. I didn't follow his advice and left. Then, I found a used transmission in Wisconsin online, bought it and delivered it for $ 800. I went to my mechanic garage, they did a fantastic job and replaced the transmission. It was $ 1500 total, part+labor. I saved lots of money and my car is running perfectly on the road. I will never go for any service to Transmission Service store again. Unless, Russ decides to come back.

He new Midas was BS-ing and I went to him. My engine was still fine! I just needed new spark plugs which he believed Midas technicians damage by pulling it out the improper way and new great quality coils which I should have don vs buying from Ebay. Instead of doing the work I asked for, they convinced me to let them replace all the brakes, even though they themselves had done the other side just seven months ago. The pricing was already higher than expected, but what really pushed it over the edge was the added 3% credit card fee. When I questioned it, I was told it was a fee from the credit card company. That is simply not true. It is a fee they chose to pass on. Be honest about it. Customers can handle the truth. We do not appreciate being misled. On top of that, the attitude was dismissive and disrespectful. If you are going to charge premium prices, at least treat people like they matter. I walked away feeling overcharged, talked down to, and frustrated. There are plenty of auto shops around Richfield. This is not one I would recommend.

On this particular day, the big emergency triangle with an explanation mark light goes off in my car. This light only goes on when there is a true emergency and the car could possibly stop working. I feared that I would not make it out to my Burnsville dealership from south Minneapolis. There were good recommendations on my neighborhood nextdoor app. for Wuensch and it happened to be two miles from my house. I called Wuensch and spoke to the owner Tim. He said that he had experience with Prius' and told me to bring it in. Wuensch ended up fixing my coolant and engine battery. I needed a hybrid battery as well. Tim knew that I was not able to afford a new $3000 hybrid battery so he researched and found a man in town who is well known for refurbishing Prius batteries and installing them for CHEAP. Tim contacted the guy and provided me with the number. While my car was at Wuensch, he also let me use the shop's "loaner" vehicle. Let me say, I am not the greatest client as I freaked out a couple of times on him and the mechanics. However, they remained so calm and reassured me that they would get my car back into top shape. Tim also called me a week later to follow-up on how things were going. My car is running top shape again and I will definitely return to Wuensch. They are honest and that is hard to find in the auto repair world when we are at the mercy of them. The repair was reasonable and way below what the dealership would have charged me.
