He is the rudest person I have ever met. My vehicle was involved in a collision in which front bumper needed to be replaced completely. The day Francis returned the vehicle on March 9th, 2016 it was brought to his attention that there was a 1cm gap ahead of the headlights and he stated that it is because these bumpers are off market and "they never fit perfectly". On March 11th when I got to work after the vehicle was parked, I noticed that one side of the front bumper (driver`s side) popped just about 1inch out and I pushed it back to where it'd snap in place, well sadly it popped out again and the vehicle was brought over to the shop on March 14th at 8:15am where two of Francis` assistants saw it (Francis wasn't present) and stated that there was normal due to the bumper being off market and they told me to bring the vehicle back in case it happens again so they would glue it back in. On March 23rd (one-year anniversary of my step-daughter's death) at 3:45pm the vehicle was brought to the shop once again and Francis was present at this time. When Francis was asked to take a look at the bumper, he started frantically yelling, swearing, and causing public humiliation blaming me, without any justification or proof, that I have hit the vehicle and that he is not going to be blamed for it, therefore, he is not fixing it. He also gave me no time for explanation and he was very condescending, thus I could not reason with him despite the multiple times I have stated I have not hit anything or anyone. I saw him getting defensive every time I would try to speak and he would raise his voice even more and swear at me in my 7-year old daughter's presence who was very scared. I felt belittled and humiliated, and my daughter was scared. He was constantly berating me. Besides being very unprofessional and even if it was my fault and if perhaps the car was hit while parked, he had NO RIGHT to treat anyone like he treated me. Hated more than anything else in doing business with him and will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER recommend him to anyone. read more

When my daughter broke the rear window of our car, she took a picture to FJS Auto since it was close to see what she needed to do to get it fixed. Fran had her bring the car right around and cleaned out all the glass and collision wrapped it for her at no charge so she could get where she was going. Fran helped us through the process of getting the glass replaced and offered to have the glass company complete the process in his shop so he could make sure it was done right. Auto Body Service isn't something we hope to need again in the future, but if we do we would definitely have it done at FJS auto. read more

Darn deer! It decided to cross the road just as I was driving by. Killed the deer (oh dear) and wrecked the grill and hood of my newish car. (Thankfully, there were no injuries in the car). I took it to Fran Smith (FJS Autobody) for an estimate. He took care of everything ... worked with the adjuster and got the insurance company up to speed quickly. I couldn't afford a rental, so time was of the essence ... and Fran delivered EARLY! He did a magnificent job, cleaned the car inside and out, and even threw in a few extra services ... like restoring my headlights to their original brilliant shininess. I hope to never have to have my car worked on by a body shop ... but if I do, no question, I'll go back to Fran He's the best! read more

Getting in an accident is THE WORST!! Especially when it's not your fault. Thankfully I was placed in the extremely capable hands of Francis Smith. He did an incredible job fixing my car. It looks brand new. And the inside is immaculate. He pays attention to detail and takes great pride in his work, it totally shows. Dealing with Franny during the repairs of my car was a dream, even with annoying insurance shenanigans. He's an advocate for his customers and won't settle for off-market parts.
