I came in today to replace a very cheap backpack I had had for seven years that was falling apart…read more I am a grad student and building my writing career, and doing lots of commuting in the city like most New Yorkers, so I need a good backpack. I chose this brand and to come to this store because if I was going to spend $80+ on a backpack, it better be heavy duty and sustainable. Anyways, I am not disappointed with my purchase nor experience at Fjallraven at all. Martin, the sales clerk who assisted me, was knowledgeable in the products and helped me to select the right backpack for my needs. I also had a budget and he helped me with that too. He helped me select a color, took care of my purchase with ease, and even allowed me to pack all my stuff in my new backpack I had just purchased. I have used my new backpack for half a day, and love it. Martin recommend the Raven 28, and showed me the port color, which is what I purchased. It is well mad, durable, and feels light even when heavy. Martin had informed me the straps and back of the backpack were re-enforced for heavy duty use-that is no joke. That structure made for ease of use, and didn't make me tired or achy and I went grocery shopping after and needed to put some of my groceries in my new backpack in addition to the totes I brought along. The Raven 28 packs a lot yet remains lightweight for the user, plus it looks great. It was rainy today too when I purchased it, and the backpack did well in the rain and none of items were wet and I carry books and notebooks even when not in class. I highly recommend this shop and their products. I will come again, and recommend to friends. Definitely ask for Martin if he is working that day-I know he helped me so much and went above and beyond in his customer service and represented the brand well. If he helped me out, he will help you out too.

I love the convenient location and layout (great website, too but may be iffy to order from depending on other reviews). The merchandising makes so much sense; it's visually pleasing. A plethora of home goods, accessories, and clothing that makes a statement. Basically in love with almost every t-shirt they had on the website. The 2 staff members were informative, fun to chat with, and helpful especially with fixing a jammed slot in the print machine. Sizes run large as my Small was suuuper oversized -- that's on me tho bc the gentleman I was speaking with offered to me to try it on before purchasing. Luckily, my boyfriend also loves it so it's now his. I will be back!

I spent several minutes hunting for a customer service number but could find nothing but an email based interface. I sent in the message, by this time 10 minutes after placing the order asking them to cancel the order. However, they did not read the message and respond until late in the day and by then it was too late. I am now out $54 and my husband won't get his Father's Day gift. I won't be ordering from this company again. A company that is too cheap to have a customer service phone, or to respond to emails quickly does not deserve my business.

I appreciate the entire staffs patience with allowing me to purchase one item for $24.99 a pretty good value for a leather belt. What resonated most with me is that, I was in dire need and Frank's employees could have shut the door and ended the sales for the day but they were kind enough to allow a small purchase of $24.99 to end the sales quota. No sales is to small to make a sale, they are a business that provides for its customers, no matter how much you spend. They are there for you, when you need them and that's why I keep coming back. They have uniforms, casual clothes, fishing and hunting gear, and sports equipment. There is not a better place to shop, I've been supporting Frank's Sports Shop since January 2003. I go to pay with my card I asked if they took apple pay they are asking me for my license and to show some type of ID with a picture so I said I left my wallet in my car that's parked around the block in one of the worst neighborhoods. The woman takes the basketball from my hand and the hat and puts behind the counter like I was going to steal it insane transaction totally unacceptable. Once they learned we were shopping for my daughter's 21st birthday, they went above and beyond to make the experience even more memorable. They treated us like family.
