While waiting for the Highway Patrol, I called the closest auto shop- Affinity Auto- to see if they could be sure my car would be able to drive back to St. Augustine that night. The entire staff was SO kind and considerate. They made sure the car was safe and only charged me the minimum charge to secure the bumper. The mechanic also noticed the tires were all a little low on air, so filled those for me, too. So nice ! THEN comes the amazing part. I drove about 10 minutes away and locked my freaking keys in the car. It was 5:05pm on Friday evening and they drove to my location and unlocked the car for me! Above and beyond! It was a pretty awful day for me, but Affinity Automotive made it as good as it possibly could be. THANK YOU!

The car had 4 previous owners, which was not described in the eBay listing. My credit union and myself were not comfortable with the transaction and backed out of the deal... Anyone in the industry knows this is common practice, and when selling a car, full disclosure is key. Auto sales deals fall through ALL the time. Autobahn did not ask me for a deposit, and I cancelled less than 24 hours after winning the auction. Jake the owner of this "business" demanded $500 to re-list the car, which is absurd, because I know it costs nothing to re-list on eBay, and if the sale falls through, the seller is not assessed a fee. He attempted to file a complaint against me through eBay after arguing endlessly with me via email, patronizing me, telling me that I "don't have money" and "can't afford the car" when in actuality the 4C is one of my cheaper cars. eBay instructed me to disregard this and would not report an unpaid item to my account after I submitted all of the emails to their support center. I have since purchased another 4C with one previous owner and 477 miles on it for only $2,000 more. These guys sell very few cars, they're a no-name in the automotive sales industry, and obviously hurting for money. If you're in sales, the customer comes first. These guys do not have that mentality, and imply no trustworthiness by the way they handle business. Also, if they're having to nickel and dime for $500, they're probably not making ends meet. I buy 15-20 cars a year, and I can only say one thing... Stay away from these guys, they have no clue what they're doing.
