The fence was destroyed in the hurricane when the posts snapped because they were empty (no beams)! I got a call from Gage, an arrogant and condescending person, who explained that it's my fault that the new sales guy, working on a new system, and the back office staff who confirmed the details and told me that the beams were included were all wrong because I did not bother to add up the individual lines to ensure that they were a part of the total. All I asked for was to honor the original quote or give me a discount on repairs. He laughed at me and said it was my problem. I asked to speak to the owner and he laughed at me again and told me "He's going to tell you the same thing." I absolutely do not recommend this service. They take no responsibility for any part of anything that goes wrong. I was spoken to like it's my fault (I wasn't here during the installation).

Miguel was very responsive and contacted us to set a time to check the area for the estimate. They used the survey we had done to locate where the fence would be placed. We selected Ace because he came with brochures for us to see the options and was knowledgeable during the estimate. The value for the price is fantastic. Ace came with all the materials on a trailer the Monday after Thanksgiving. They had to load it that morning since they didn't work over the weekend. They created their lines with a laser and string making sure they were in the proper location. They finished the length of gate on the first day and the gate the morning of the second day. I was amazed how fast they dug the holes and assembled the fencing. The fence is beautiful. It's nice to have privacy in the backyard but it beautiful, as well. After positive past dealings with H&Y I referred them to a member unit-owner to replace a wood courtyard enclosure with vinyl. They were prompt with their estimate and were selected out of three companies by the homeowner to perform the job. The job was completed but needed to be lowered slightly to match the height of others in the Association. Despite a delay caused by the hurricane, Jerry, the owner, saw to it that the adjustment was made to our specifications. Given the relative insignificance of this re-visit in comparison to the volume of fence work a hurricane can produce, H&Y kept their commitment and for that the homeowner and I were thoroughly impressed. It is not often these days that we witness this kind of integrity in business dealings so when we do we must recognize it. The irrigation system was installed by an outsourced company and they did a decent job. However, Global Lawn Care told me I needed to pay $3000 for the sod. I allowed them to do the job and it was absolutely terrible. Half of the grass they use was already dead and the work was very patchy. The front of my house, which is the first thing people see is still bald in many spots. They left a pile of rocks sitting on the walkway...DANGEROUS!!! Although the staff are friendly, the work is very poor. I am not only in the process of looking for a new lawn care company, I'm considering seeking litigation for this gross wrongdoing. They also said they would install the sprinkler covers however they only put in a few and the rest are still sitting in the bag. BEWARE!!!
