My…read morehusband passed away on Monday and I wanted to have his wedding band resized into a thumb ring for me and have our original engagement ring reset as the diamond had fallen out. Upon going into the store we saw many workers in there but no one seemed to care they had a customer, we were finally acknowledged by an older lady with dark hair (I wish I would of got her name) she was very rude from the beginning even with us telling her what and why we needed it done, she said in the very beginning "I don't think we can do that, but I'll ask the jeweler" after going to the back with my rings for what seemed like forever she came back out and rudely told us if he did it you'd be able to tell where he cut it and that to reset my ring it would be over $400 - it wasn't about the price it was about the absolute rudeness we received from her from the minute we walked in. I had lost my husband 2 days before that, it was hard enough going out in public but when she showed no care in the world like we were just ruining her day by being there. We decided they did not deserve our business. We decided to check another nearby jeweler while we were down there. He was the nicest guy, he quoted us a price less than half of what Raskins quoted us and had it done in an hour! It was done perfectly and NO you can not tell where he had to cut it. He even saved the piece he cut out for me! He showed remorse in why we needed it done and actually gave a shit. Sorry Raskin but you have lost my business forever. I was recommended to Frederick Fisher Jewelers by many locals in town over a year ago. I finally…read moredecided to take my grandmothers precious rings to be sized, and rhodium dipped so that I could wear them. I was very reluctant to leave them, and I even cried when telling Ryan about these rings and their sentimental value to me. He was very understanding, and cared for them as if it was his own families rings. Since this time, we have become friends. He truly does treat his customers like family though, if any issue arises, he quickly takes care of it (not that I had any issues at all, but I've heard from others). He makes sure that everyone is completely satisfied and happy. I can't thank him enough for how he took care of my rings, and made them look so beautiful for me. I didn't want to straighten anything as I wanted it how my grandma had them, I just simply wanted them a to for me and be a white color. Also, the pricing was super good!! Thank you Ryan, you know I'll be back with any jewelry needs.
