Andy worked smoothly with the Progressive Insurance estimator to determine the damage and cost the repair. Andy then quickly ordered the parts and began the repair. Some of the parts were put on backorder significantly delaying the final resolve but Andy was sensitive to my schedule and allowed me to take the bike home for use. This required him to do extra work without cost to reassemble the bike with the damaged parts on backorder. Please note that these parts were only scratched and scuffed and did not create any safety issues. As I write this one part is still on backorder but the rest of the repair was first rate. While the bike was with Andy I asked for a scheduled servicing and Andy made intelligent recommendations as to what the bike might need. This was something I had not seen with the dealership I'd been using. The servicing was done quickly and thoroughly with Andy even taking the time to correctly route a GPS wire I'd connected myself. He walked over to a far wall and brought back to me the exact item I was wanting. Do yourself a favor and never buy street bike tires from JP cycles. According to the customer…read moreservice representative I spoke to, they have no way of knowing how old the tires are that are on the shelf in the warehouse when they sell them to you. The representative told me that they sell the tires first in first out and that robots select the tires and package them and ship them out. They don't have any human beings working in their warehouse. They sent me a motorcycle tire that was manufactured in April 2024. Motorcycle tires only last 5 to 6 years before you have to replace them. So they're essentially sending me a tire that is over two years old and close to half of its life expectancy is already gone. The customer service representative that I spoke to gave me no other option but to set up a return and receive a refund. According to him, there's no way for them to check the warehouse to see the manufacture dates on the tires. This is extremely poor customer service and also a ripoff because you are buying old tires.
