I thought I was going to be here half a day even though it was early morning on a Monday , this place was booked. Very poor service rude workers, guy ruined my wheel then said "your screwed", if you can't do tires you shouldn't do a tire shop. When I took it to another shop and with proof from the past one they didn't and asked them to make things right he said to take him to court and hung up. AK tires is a great company! Have been coming here for years now, any time I need an alignment done. Adam usually does the alignment done for me and he does a great job. This us a very busy shop, but they manage to keep up and keep their customers happy. Stopped by today to get my tpms system reset, wait time was only about 10 minutes even though it seemed like they were extremely busy. It only cost me 20$ and it was done quick. Traveling up the East Coast. I blew a tire. It gave you meaning to the expression, limping down the shoulder on the rim. AK took care of my problem within an hour. After leaving them and getting 15 miles away, I blew another tire. I limped down the shoulder again to the next exit where I passed a state trooper in the median strip, who just looked at me and waved. 20 minutes later, i limped by him on the other shoulder. He simply wave it again, but I think curiosity got the best of them, and he pulled me over not hard I couldn't run anywhere. He asked me what I was doing and I told him going back to A.K! Grabbed a room for a night at a hotel and brought the car to the next morning all taken care of! read more

Boyfriend and I blew out a tire on the way to Orlando and a towing company came by and brought us here. Told us A.K. Tires would help us out and take good care of us. A.K. Tire employees quickly assessed the damage and gave us a quote on our tire needs. They saw that we needed new studs because Tire Kingdom in Jax apparently put them on forcefully and caused them to snap while we tried to get them off. We did have a bit of a wait, because this place gets busy! This is the town's local and favorite tire shop because these guys are willing to work with you and try to get you in and out quickly. You can watch them work as they put tires on the rims with their machines and it's actually very cool. All the employees are kind and polite and they keep you informed as time goes by. The waiting area is cooled off, although there is a bit of smoking that goes on by some employees as they walk through to their offices. Their bathroom is clean, even for a tire/mechanic place, but the downside while I visited was that there was no running water in the sink. Bring sanitizer! Overall, the experience cost us $127 after tax (69.99+tax for the tire and then labor). I even overheard that they will balance all 4 tires for free if you find that there is an issue after you get your tires done and you leave the premises. I probably won't be back because it's far out of the wah, but in the event of an emergency this is a good place. read more

I just moved to this area. This place rocks. I arrived early and the place was packed with customers. I was a bit hesitant to stay and wait thinking it would take forever; was I wrong. I was told wait time was 20 minutes... in less time than that my vehicle was worked on. Employees were very quick, professional and attentive to my needs. If you're ever having tire problems definitely this is the place to go; hence, i've brought numerous vehicles here ranging from Hyundai, BMW, and Mercedes. Run flat, sport, and all season tires; A K tires were able to tackle on any issue regarding the tires to be patched and on the road in less then 15 minutes. If they are busy then clearly they are doing business correctly. Worth the wait and the pricing is very nominal. Absolutely the best tire prices out the door that I've seen. A veil of dread came over me a couple months back when my regular mechanic told me that I'd be needing new tires soon. I began to check out prices in South Florida and was on the verge of a financial meltdown during that process. I mentioned the insane prices to my Dad, who lives in Flagler Beach, and recommended AK Tires to me. He called and got me the price I stalked and ready to go and it was literally $400 cheaper than I thought I'd be paying. Since I make the drive up to Flagler fairly frequently, it was a no brainer. I arrived and signed in to the queue. There had to be 20 cars & trucks throughout the lot waiting to be serviced, for new tires, or for the free rotation & balance. Don't let this number alarm you though. There are so many folks working in this shop that things flowed efficiently and quickly for the volume. It's basically moving along like a NASCAR pit crew over there!! We left the van to run other errands, then got a call back in just an hour that it was ready to go. The price I paid was the exact price I was quoted and it was a done deal. I went back just a few days ago for my first free rotation and balance, which was handled just as quickly with no BS. What they do have is one hell of a selection and will beat just about any tire price I have found.
