I haven cared for my work truck in, well too long! Decided to drop in here for the big package (for me) that was $50.00 for my truck. It was much better than I would get into like the cracks, air pressure all the crumbs and crud out from the seat creases! I got in the old Diesel work horse and it looked new and was totally awestruck!!! I will come back for more tlc as this truck deserves! Thanks for working late on a Friday until 7. No longer Dr. Wash. It's a Flagship Car Wash. Had a Gold Wash done on my car. ($19 - exterior wash & hand dry, vacuum, interior windows) In and out 8 minutes. Great service. Not sure if the wash menu will change in the near future due to change of management. read more

I paid $39 for the car wash and tipped accordingly. My car was still so dirty on the outside, I went back and they did it all over again. After I got home, I went over it with a damp paper towel and it's still filthy -- my paper towel is black! Not worth the money or the time. read more

Update: I went back and things have improved. Possibly new management? Orginal review: The do a lousy job removing excess water. The windows in the interior were cleaned half way at best. For a $25 car was I expected much more. I asked that they remove the excess water and do a better job on the windows but they left me hanging so I just left and finished their job at home. Dr. Wash in Chantilly completely scratched the entire front of our brand new 4Runner. It's as if they dried our car with a towel filled with glass and pebbles. The owner/manager and his mother tried telling us that they didn't even wash our car. I told them that we have a receipt with a time stamp and he still denied any responsibility. I asked if they had insurance and he said no, and then asked us to leave. This was hands down the shadiest car wash place that I've ever been to. Normally, when I go to Dr Wash, I will get a simple detailing. This usually includes the basic car wash, it'll go out, get a quick vacuum from the group, and then taken to the side for the rest of the detailing. The process takes about 30 minutes or so. I'd recommend if someone is in for a quick detailing - with no extra bells and whistles. read more

A great offer for the price you pay! I used to live closer to the doc wash and I loved getting coupons for them in the valu-Pak that was delivered to my former apartment complex. Does Doc wash get every single speck of dirt off your exterior and every crumb out of your interior? No. Do I expect that? Also no. But they're quick, pretty cheap, very friendly, and do an awesome job. I've read some reviews about damage done to cars in the wash, but there's a very large sign before you go into the wash saying everything they don't cover, (basically if there's any damage to your car they aren't liable.... that's a risk you run at some of these brush car washes) so you run the risk of something potentially being damaged or scratched, and as much as it sucks, you technically were presented with that warning prior to driving in. read more

Don't waste your $20 for a regular car wash. I went home and had to re-wash the car. There is no detailing, quality of wash. This place (which is not like the previous place-owners) had no personal service. There was no tire detailing, no inside wipe down or window clean, and you had to vacuum your own car --but alas the free vacuuming....you can do this without paying for a wash. I used to take my cars here when it was under other ownership. I could get a coupon in the mail and get my car cleaned inside and out for about $15 to $20. Now that Flagship has taken over the building, the prices have doubled. To get your car cleaned inside and out, you have to pay $31. I opted for the most expensive option at $39 so they could pressure wash my vinyl flor mats, front and back. They did a nice job, but the price is ridiculously high for what they do. This car wash places isn't great. They clean your car like as if you were at gas station car wash trying to basic clean up. I try to pay for more but never available and the next option makes me glad I didn't go all out for my Jeep. Been going here for 15 years.. made the mistake of trusting they actually vacuumed the inside and did a thorough job.. got home to take something out of the back of my SUV to find they had not.. needed car cleaned to take team to out of town training.. can't bring back tomorrow since we will be out town.. after the front desk rep made excuses that they did a bad job because of the weather, he refused to give my account a credit to come in for a "do over" when I got back to town and he continued to argue with me ... had gone for 15 years.. no more.. I can get my car washed anywhere and be treated poorly... who wants my future car washes!!! Car wash was great. What I really needed to be great was cleaning of the interior. They did an awful job, still have dirt and crumbs in my car. Their towels leave fuzzies all over your interior. And they put the car mats back in the car while still wet. It's a shame that is worth $40. Absolute rip off. One positive is I asked them to vacuum the trunk which they happily did, but again, still have dirt and such in the trunk. They need better vacuums! read more

If I had the option to give no stars, I would. I took my car to this car wash today and my window came out with a bunch of scratches. It looks like rocks got thrown at my window. However, the management claims that their car wash brushes are 100% error free, which is untrue because any car wash that has brushes runs the risk of scratching if something gets caught in them temporarily. When reviewing the video footage, he tried to convince me that the reflection of my Tory Burch purse logo and the lining of my Carseat that shows through my window were the scratches on my car. Just meh. Good for a quick clean.... don't ask to get your seats wiped down, you can't even pay extra for it. The ppl that own this place are less to be desired. Therefore, I go allllllll the way to Flagship in South Riding. I live in the Fair Oaks area. It's a good 25-30 min for me to get there with moderate traffic. It's worth the extra minutes/ miles going to Flagship. You get more bang for your buck. At Dr. Wash, they don't care about your certain wants/needs. You get what you pay for. They use to be great, but there's better service down the road! I don't come to Dr. Wash anymore. If I want a basic wash I'll go to the the gas station drive thru and I'd rather just vacuum out my car myself. read more

If a genie had granted me three wishes to use on a car wash, the result would have been Dr. Wash in Chantilly. Wish One -- An efficient "Front of House" -- after many winter storms, the place was packed with salt covered vehicles. They had a polite, effective fellow, directing traffic and taking details about wash services wanted. This totally avoided the typical demolition derby outside so many car washes at such times. Check! Wish Two -- A polite Cashier -- I know it seems small, but a polite person handling the financial transaction and chatting a little about whatever interests you, makes a very positive impact on the experience. Dr. Wash's cashier was all of that. Check! Wish Three -- A clean vehicle -- The automated wash line did a fine job of cleaning my car. But the true standout was the team who vacuumed it, wiped down the outside, cleaned the inside of the windows (thoroughly, completely, and without streaks in-spite of numerous layers of doggie nose smears), dash, console, seats, cargo area, and all. They took the time to do it right, even though the business was very busy. They did a very impressive job. Check! As I drove away I wished I had tipped more. Seeing other reviews here I know I had a very different experience than many, but this was the best automated car wash experience I have ever had. Thank you, Genie! p.s. I had the Gold Wash. I want to be as nice as possible but it's going to be hard. I've come here for years and never really had an issue until recently. I got my car washed a few months back, three days later I noticed a broken piece under my AC vent. There's no way I could of done it because i don't even touch that area. But I'm sure when they were wiping it down in a hurry as usual they broke it off. Last month I go in and pay $10 to get my sticker removed off of my car and they left residue on and around it and left 4 stickers on the window that I asked to take off. I asked why they didn't take it off they said that's extra charge. REALLY? I paid $10 for you to remove 2 stickers and you want to charge me more for 4 tiny window stickers (the ones that come on the car). My real reason for yelping today was this. If you look at my pictures you don't even need to read the rest of my preaching. I go in do a gold wash with rims and tires as usual. It was not packed for a Sunday so there was no reason for them to rush cleaning my car. After 3 minutes of "cleaning" my car I returned to ripped leather on my passenger door and a filthy car. I went back and the manager took a look at it and said that's impossible it wasn't us we don't use sharp objects just a vacuum head and window cleaner. He said sorry about that and walked away from me. So here's my thing... Pushing a vacuum head on my fake car door leather couldn't rip it? Get out of here. They are so irresponsible and so up to their heads with their standard and overpriced car wash it's ridiculous. They don't give two ****'s about your car or your feelings. I would never bring my car back her in a million years. I came back home and spent 5 minutes cleaning it and it's perfect. Why couldn't they do that from the get go? But my point is. If you want your car washed RIGHT and for a fair price go to flagship in Reston. They are a state of the art facility for a little more money and a lot more love. Never going back! One would think I would have learned my leasson the first time I received horrible service. Went to get my car washed after weeks of salt and grime build-up. And as expected, it was busy, but so were there other full service car washes in the area. The female attendant was informing patrons that they were only limited to car washes and tire cleaning, because they were so busy. I Drove my vehicle through the automated car wash, but there were no vehicles in the secondary vehicle drive through where all the interior work is completed. The car attendants drove my car through and didn't even vacuum or clean any of the door jams, despite me asking them to do so. I told them I would pay for the difference. Nothing! When they whipped my car around, I approached the young man touching up my vehicle and asked him to explain the inconsistent story about not doing any interior work. The young kid explained that the vacuum was broken, which is why they weren't doing interior work. Yet, they were offering and performing full detail service on a Mercedes that had just gone ahead of me. I asked the kid to explain the inconsistencies and he simply sated that the vacuum in that service bay was not broken. Perhaps this had something to do with detail pricing is customized based on the vehicle type. NEVER GOING BACK! I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I have been getting car washes here many times here before, but today is the first time I got the Dr. Wash special which is a whipping 38.99. They said it would take 30 minutes ahead of time but it was closer to 45 minutes which is fine since I was in no rush. When they are done washing and cleaning the car, at first glimpse, every thing looks good. The interior is spotless, shinny, and smells nice. After getting home, I took a closer look, and wasn't impressed with the exterior wash at all. There are dirty spots all over the car, mainly on the front side and bottom of the doors. Totally not worth the 38.99 I paid. Now I understand why the overall reviews are so slow for them on Yelp. read more

Took my 2004 car to get seats shampooed because there was dirt. Looked clean at first but when it dried 2 hours later, the stain showed even more. Took it back and they tried to explain that cleaning it wasn't guaranteed and shampooing it only brought the dirt up. Had them re-shampoo it and then the stain went away. Didn't get charged extra and the manager said if it still showed I could bring it back for no extra charge and gave me a wash cloth. Make sure they shampoo your seats right. Actually, the manager that is sometimes there speaks English but he is the least personable person you will ever meet and apparently has no concept of "customer service". I complained to him that my car was skipped over after coming out of the wash to be dried and instead of calling someone over to dry my car he just gave me an attitude and said "I don't think you've been waiting that long". I witnessed cars that went through the wash after me leaving with dried cars as this idiot was telling me this. Do you know what happens if a car sits in the direct sunlight with water droplets? Not only do you get water deposit spots but the water magnifies the sunlight and damages the clear coat. I FINALLY HAD TO DRY THE CAR MYSELF. So, if you're looking for a car wash where the manager would rather hide in the back than help customers, all the employees do not speak English / cannot help you and also have the privilege of drying your car yourself while sweating bullets in office work clothes, then go to this place. I live in Vienna. I drive out here to wash my car. That is how good these guys are. I always get the Dr Wash Package which will requires for you to wait about 40 minutes or so. They clean the car thoroughly and I never have issues with them. So I can't really say about the other options that they have because Dr Wash is the best bang for the bucks for me. read more
