I took my brand-new car to this place and waited almost forty minutes just to pay, with no clear payment instructions and no touchless options before I reached an attendant. When he took my credit card to swipe, he couldn't explain (nor could a sales rep from Flagship that I later called) how my information would be stored or protected. At the entrance of the car wash, only half my car was pre-sprayed, and when I asked about it, the attendant said that's just how it's done. There was nobody available once inside for questions afterward. Not only was my driver's mat still dirty, but the finishing crew also almost missed wiping and shining the tires until I pointed it out before I drove away. It made me wonder if they knew what level of service I had just paid for. At home, I found bird waste still on the hood along with some new scratches that I was fortunate to be able to buff out. For $36, the 'Ultimate Wash' fell far short of my expectations. Incidentally, I waited 22 years before I finally decided to buy another vehicle. So, next time, I'll be careful to go elsewhere for better service. read more

This is probably the least effective flagship car wash in the northern Virginia area. They should really evaluate their process on where to do the vacuuming because the line takes forever. I have been going to this car wash, on-and-off, for many years. Historically I would rate them a 3.5 to a 4.0 Today I give Flagship, in Fairfax, a 5.0 It was the best wash ever due to the detail given by the workers. I selected the premium wash, exterior and interior. All work done was Outstanding. The pre-wash crew performed all tasks at a high level... the post-wash crew paid attention to the Many little things that made this the best wash ever. Today, Flagship Car Was was a Super value ! Yikes. Wish I had looked at reviews before I visited. I got my car washed here today and, while the inside smells good, that's about all I can compliment. I went with the higher tier wash, spending almost $50 and I'm just shocked at how my car looks. It doesn't even look like they did anything. I keep it pretty clean, what I really wanted was a good clean on my front bumper with bug guts. I even told the guy that, asking if the higher tier would make sure of that. He said yes of course, he was a super nice kid. The place wasn't busy but there was a lot of staff. When I drove off, my front passenger seat was all messed up and there were still water droplets on the front windows. I don't understand how people can't just take a few extra seconds? Just after noticing those two things, as I pulled out onto the road that's when I realized my windshield looks the same as it did when I arrived. When I got home, I looked around the car, it went downhill from there. From when I pulled up to the gate where the kid greeted me, I was there for 12 minutes total. Keep your belongings in your hand or a closed compartment!!! I never had an issue with any Flagship being a customer since 2013 and have been to almost all of their locations! The monthly deal is the deal! Get the option that let them vacuum and clean your car inside out and not just the outside only! Listen to a customer who has been doing that for 11 years , IT'S WORTH IT!!!! It's worth every penny! Don't forget to Tip when you see a good job and when you can at the tipping box! Flagship, overall, has good car wash locations - but this is NOT one of them. Stay away from this one at all costs. About 6 months ago I watched them have one car run into the back of another on the belt. It didn't do much damage but overall it happened and there was a small mark on the bumper of the front car. Took my car there today, knowing it was a bad idea - but this one is closer than the Vienna one and I was pressed for time. Car was barely dirty, yet somehow still isn't clean. I also noticed while it was on the belt that it looked eerily close to one side. My car comes out and there's scratches on the roof and the 'close' side (drivers side). This is a great location, I came on a Sunday and there were like 20 cars ahead of me. It was very efficiently conducted for both external and internal wash. The team is helpful and quick. Honestly poor quality is not enough to describe the service. I paid the highest service they provide to clean my car inside and out and once it was "done" it was like they didn't vacuum it at all. Cup holders weren't cleaned at all either and they specifically mentioned they would clean them. I kindly asked the supervisor if they could re-vacuum and they did but it wasn't much better. Flagship has grown so large that their initial business model just disappeared & is nonexistent & they really don't care what the customers want or think!! I've been a customer for nearly 15 years; however, as their business has grown over the years, the quality of their services has drastically declined and their so-called customer service is non-existent. Their employees are very incompetent and appear to be very poorly trained and not care about providing quality service to the customers. They recently damaged interior leather of my vehicle and when first confronted the manager, i was told that it had to be submitted as an insurance claim (that was nearly 2 months ago). After not having heard from their so-called insurance company, I've repeatedly spoke to the location manager, as he was also surprised/shocked that no action had been taken. Then i was told that the claim needed to be resubmitted & nearly 3 more weeks go by & again no action (hearing crickets). Until last week (8/20/2025) stopped by & spoke the location's GM (A.J.) again & he attempted to escalate the claim to higher management/regional manager. We'll, it's now official, stopped by yesterday (8/27/2025) & surprisingly the GM (A.J.) has been let go & no longer working there & the Assistant Manager (Nelson) told me that after all this time, your claim is denied. I've been given the runaround for nearly 2 months, only to be told we don't care & aren't paying for any damages that their employees caused by using a towel that had some kind of chemical on it & rubbed it on my red leather colored armrest. Word to the wise, be careful not to get your vehicle damaged @ #FlagshipCarwash cuz at the end you'll be holding the bag & paying for the damages they caused out of your own pockets! Guess it's going back to handwashing my own vehicle @ my own house! to Elizabeth (the Flagship Carwash) customer service or marketing manager: To answer your question and to also prove that you're a liar and use the same canned/email response to every unsatisfied customer, telling them to contact Flagship and that you all do your best to make things right, etc. In reality Flagship never takes any action, all you do is give the customers the runaround for couple of months, telling us that you've filed an insurance claim and that someone will soon be reaching out to us for the damages and the claim, where in reality you had never filed the claim, you just took down the information from me regarding my vehicle and pictures of the damages. Today, Sunday morning, 10Am, busy but moved along. Maybe a 20 minute wait, which didn't feel bad as I was enjoying a Starbucks from just down the street. I had questions being that this was my first time using their service. I got the Deluxe or whatever their full service is ($44). My experience is a good one. I was pleased with how much better the inside and outside looked. Afterwards I bought some car interior polish from Walmart ($7) because once cleaned, I could see how aged my dash and interior looked. With the wash and 10 minutes of polishing my car looks awesome. I can't afford this every week, but I'll do this routine again in a couple months. Flagship worked for me. I'll use them again. read more

I have noticed that since this car wash changed to Flagship, it seems like the quality of service had declined. It seems to me the place is often understaffed, which can make the wait time quite long (often takes 30 min. or more to get through). And the folks doing the drying and wiping down are doing quick jobs, not super attentive to details, and most irritating, the floor mats are NEVER replaced properly. I got the "Full-Service" option. As you can see, it's $44. Let me repeat: FORTY-FOUR DOLLARS. There were multiple places on the car body that were not touched, either by the machines or the attendants. The wheels were particularly skipped over, and I have attached some photos to document this. I returned to talk to the manager. I simply asked him to come out and look at my car. He shrugged. I said, "Look here, and here, and here . . . " He seemed uninterested, so I said, "What are you going to do about the lousy job?" He seemed stumped by that, so I told him that I got a better wash at my gas station with their $8 wash. He finally offered to run my car through again. When it was pronounced ready, I walked around the car, then called the outside supervisor over and pointed at the wheels, which were still dirty and untouched in many areas. He said, "That won't come off." I rubbed my finger over the dirt and replied, "It will come off if you get a rag or a sponge and rub it a little." He gave a small shrug, talked to one of the employees who cleaned most of the dirt off with a rag. AMAZING," I said. "I will probably never come here again." There is no indication at all that anyone cares about quality or service. I think the employees outside are being taken advantage of because they are cheap labor. And the "managers" have no idea about managing people or washing cars. Additionally, the rubber mats were very wet, not cleaned well, and were not replaced on the retaining clips on the floorboard. (The first time I came here, the retainers for both front mats were broken by the employees, and I had to replace them.) I had my car "cleaned" at Flagshi? about a month ago and it was a rip-off! The prices went from Embassy's average cost of around $15.00 to around $25.00 just for a wash. They cleaned only the outside of the windows, didn't do much to dry the car, and the wheels got less than a halfhearted clean. The staff's attitude appeared deflated (I guess it was because they are getting the brunt of the complaints, which I heard were very high). When it was owned by Embassy, the staff always appeared to be focused and happy and the manageress always chipped in to help her staff. A discount for seniors and the military was always available. It has gone to hell in a handbasket since the new owner put profit over the customer. read more

Ripped off. Was a monthly member, decided to cancel. I was asked if I preferred a refund of my monthly membership fee or would like to use for the month. I opted for the refund. I was told to complete the online refund request form, so I did then was asked to call a phone number, where I was told to expect the refund in 5-7 days. A month later, I called back since I haven't received my refund. This time I was told there is a no refund policy. At this point my membership for the month went unused and they would not provide a credit or even give a free car wash. It wasn't so great when I realized that I bought the promotion for two cars, and I realized a few months later that they were charging me for three cars. The third car was finally removed in February, but I still have not received a refund or even a call back from someone in that department. The phone number only connects you to people with no authority except to offer you 3 months free. This company has no customer service or support. If you go, I recommend that you Just pay each time.
