I came into training with pretty limited knowledge about fitness and, honestly, not a great understanding of my own body either. Pamela has an amazing ability to take something that feels complicated and explain it in a way that actually makes sense. She doesn't just tell me what exercise to do - she explains why we're doing it, what muscles we're working, how it connects to an injury or weakness, and what I should be paying attention to. I've learned so much from her along the way. When I first started, I was dealing with chronic back pain and was pretty nervous about lifting weights. I had this idea that I needed to wait until my back was completely pain-free before I could really start getting fit. The problem was, that day never came. Pamela helped me realize that I didn't have to wait. She worked around my limitations, adjusted things when something didn't feel right, and gradually helped me build strength without making me feel afraid of hurting myself. That ended up changing so much for me. My back is much stronger now, and what used to feel like an ongoing chronic issue no longer controls what I can do. More importantly, I trust my body a lot more than I used to. One of the best and most unexpected results has been getting back into tennis. I love tennis, but because of my back, I had started to think it might be something I just wouldn't be able to seriously enjoy anymore. Getting stronger gave me the confidence and physical foundation to start playing again, and now I'm actively taking tennis classes and working on leveling up my game. I'm really grateful to Pamela because she didn't just get me stronger - she changed the way I understand fitness and my own body. She helped put me on a completely different trajectory, and I'm doing things now that I honestly didn't think would be possible when I first started working with her. Oh man where do I start!? I first started seeing Sergio when I was 23 (2 years ago). A few months…read moreago, when I found out I was chosen to compete in Donald Trump's Miss California USA pageant, I came straight back to Sergio! It is no small feat to get a body ready to walk on a stage in a swimsuit in front of hundreds of people and TV cameras, and some of the MOST critical judges, but Sergio welcomed it confidently. Sergio asks the right questions in order to perfectly understand your goals, and what you want to look like/feel like ultimately. For me, I wanted to be lean and toned. Results? I am now a size 0, and more toned than I've ever been- not to mention more stamina than ever. AND I still have 2 more months to perfect things before my pageant! Each training session is different and geared specifically toward you and what you want to achieve. For example, Sergio introduced me to boxing which I LOVE, so he adds that in at the end of my workout for some condensed cardio. If we start doing a specific exercise and it doesn't feel right to me, he will immediately substitute something better so that each exercise is productive. Just 2 months later and I have met all of my major goals by dropping fat, and gaining muscle tone. All of my measurements have decreased, as well as my weight and body fat percentage. I have referred several friends to him and they all had positive experiences as well. I can not recommend Sergio enough! Training with Bailey has been fantastic -- he calibrates each session to push me one step further each time and knows how to make a session productive even when I'm injured or not at 100%. Bailey also will combine conditioning with hitting pads, helping to build those muscle areas that matter for the actual fight. It's incredibly exciting to see myself improve month to month both in terms of technique, new combinations, and greater strength, conditioning, and flexibility. He also makes sessions so much fun! I lost 60 lb in 9 months! AND regained my health…read more After spending about 10 years losing a little over 100 lb, but not being able to get the last 60 off, I finally found Alex. This sweet, smart, and energetic lady brought to me an understanding of health and fitness that I had not encountered before. The last 60 lbs came off in 9 months, and in that time, I also was able to rid myself of arthritis, thyroid, and depression medications. Alex listened to my concerns and helped me design a nutrition and movement program that was just right for me. She does not have a cookie cutter approach, but modifies as necessary to help each client achieve their specific goals for their unique self. Further, she places great importance on overall health, not just a number on a scale. I found myself spending far less time in the gym than ever before, but doing very targeted and USEFUL work there.
