Without gas, my day was quite anxious but went thru the novacaine needle ok but when Dr Rose was ready to have her drilling begin, she said she wasn't numb. Annoyed, he tried to keep drilling but when she said she a could still feel the pain, he came back with another needle, clearly annoyed with her and numbed her up so badly she couldn't feel her eye and wasn't able to eat for way longer than the usual novacaine needle. They were all closed. I was finally happy when I found this office because they had an after hour emergency line direct to the dentist on call. The dentist was kind enough to immediately open up and have my friend go in. Mind you, this was after hours on the weekend. The place was really beautiful. Everything went awesome. She had a new crown and her tooth looked like it had never even been broken in the first place. It was perfect. I decided to even come back in today with my sister who wanted a deep cleaning. Even better insurance paid for everything. I had to post this. I am grateful and humbled that a dentist would go overboard and take the effort to help. After 3 visits to them and 1 visit to an affiliate Dentist who performed the route canal I was faced with a $1200 bill after my insurance coverage. They NEVER discussed costs or the types of crowns available. I initially asked to have the tooth removed, they said it was not possible???? I always explained that I was not prepared to go through the entire process due to my PTSD.... I am really upset that they never talked with my insurance or me in regards to costs and procedures.
