We discussed what I wanted done today, gave me a quote and got right to work. I decided to have the immediate leak fixed but we talked about what he would like to do to update the antique plumbing attached to a very old double cellar sink and fixtures. He updated the washing machine plumbing and he said he would send me an estimate for the rest of the work which I would love to have updated. I loved what he did and what he would like to see updated. He was done quicker than I expected and I said I would let him know about the further updating of demo of sink etc. He was wonderful and he made me feel like he really cared about what I was dealing with health wise with the old plumbing. Make sure to resolve any questions or concerns BEFORE paying the bill. If your husband calls him to discuss the price afterward, make sure to be on the call to dispell some of the mis-truths. When I attempted to address some questions/concerns, he admitted that he should have talked to me before making the executive decision and presented a possible fix but then didn't call me back as he said he would. I can accept that some of the issues happened because I didn't ask enough questions. He initially agreed that he should have asked first but later went back and wasn't willing to accept his piece when he spoke with my husband. Just not a good experience at all!

They were very professional and friendly. The quote was a little on the pricy side but they explained what was needed to bring my place to code and how the last plumber cut corners. They did an amazing job with the add ons and it worked great. I noticed a discrepancy in my bill and they fixed it right away which shaved off $300. No arguments. I recently received a follow up call from my city inspector. I didn't realize Maine law requires inspection of heater installations. Last plumber neglected to do this. The guy who came over to inspect the heater said it was premium work and explained that the next replacement should be a quicker install and less expensive because it was done correctly. My water has never been this hot. I would use them again.

The only fee mentioned was a $99 assessment fee that would be waived if we approved the work. We were charged $300 (!!!) for disconnecting a sink that took a total of 15 minutes. We were later told "whoops we forgot to mention it" and "it's their minimum fee." If there's a $300 minimum charge for a stupid simple job customers should be told upfront. You can decide if you want to do business with a company like this
