Yes... And this is where it gets 5 stars... My kids had the Mac and cheese in a "cone", my wife had the chicken dish and I had the beef kabob rice bowl. I was honestly shocked at how good the beef kabob was. Was it a little tough? Yup, but the flavor was good. Besides that though, the dish had sautéed mushrooms and the sweet potato "hash". And the cheesy rice was good also. I will say, the sweet potato hash isn't a hash. It's just sweet potatoes. But they were still good. So is it amazing? Ordered the Dragon's Garden Pyre, which had pulled lemon herb chicken, roasted corn, avocado spread, mac and cheese, and Flamin' Hot Cheetos topping it off. This was really delicious and super filling! My one critique was that the chicken, corn, and avocado were only scooped onto the top portion of the cone. I didn't personally try the PB&J cone, but my partner said it was the best thing he ate in the entire park, which definitely says a lot. I had the Classic Mac & Cheese cone and really enjoyed it. The cone itself had a great texture, and I liked the addition of the Goldfish crackers. The only downside was that the mac & cheese could've used a bit more flavor. They actually didn't have the Dragon Fire Chicken Spire for a hot second because they replaced it with the holiday special, Snoggletog Harvest. The Mac and cheese cone was great itself, but the staff around were super unprofessional by giggling at people waiting in line for a long time and saying what kind of losers we are that we need to wait an hour for our food. When we got to the counter, it took so long to figure out the person in front of us because they ran out of steak and would just not take the person to the side and deal with them at another counter. I've been home from Epic, but I am STILL thinking about these Mac and cheese cones. We tried the PBJ cone first, which was delicious. I am not one who's typically likes bread, but the bread that was used is like an everything focaccia bread that is so soft and good. I am wondering if it's possible to recreate these at home and wish that we could order without going into the parks! If you're going to Epic, then I highly recommend trying one of these cones. First time eating at Spitfire Grill I decided to get the vegan bowl. The vegan bowl has spring mix, pickled beets, pineapple, salsa, vegan feta, and a tickled bean and cucumber salad, the sweetness of the beats peas really nicely with the pickled beans and the veggies in the bowl Plus the vegan crumbled feta on top add for the perfect creaminess. I think we waited about 10 to 15 minutes to wait for my vegan dish. My friend got his rather quickly because he did not do a vegan option. Received our food quickly, but the workers were not calling out order numbers or confirming what everyone ordered when they handed it off. A few people ended up with the wrong food and had to go back. The line was pretty long with the app down but they got it fixed before our second visit to Epic. Warning that they don't have napkins or plastic ware at the pick up window - they are all in the seating area across the walkway.
