The food was delicious! I got a bowl and my husband got one of the cones. It was so flavorful! There was a ton of seating under a covered patio, which was nice to block out sun and rain. There were characters walking around interacting with families, which was cool. You can mobile order or use the window. It was quick either way!

I came here for Christmas and it was just so good. They had special menu items for the holiday season so of course I had to try that. They actually didn't have the Dragon Fire Chicken Spire for a hot second because they replaced it with the holiday special, Snoggletog Harvest. I really wanted to try both but I'll have to try the other next time. I wasn't brave enough to try the PBJ even though I really wanted to because it's so unique. But I LOVED the Snoggletog Harvest. The chimchurri sauce on top was just sublime!! Honestly this was the coolest walk up dining place I encountered all week. I just loved all the options and would love to try a lot more of them. Oh me, oh my. The cone is covered in various salty herbaceous yum yums. It's huge, but the ratio of mac and cheese to cone is one to two. It's basically all cone, little mac. To be honest, I wish I'd ordered the steak bowl or vegan bowl but another guest said this was the thing to get. All in all, I give the presentation an 8/10, and the food a 6/10.

The Spit Fyre grill in Epic Universe's Isle of Berk is a fast casual restaurant featuring the viral, fantastical Mac & cheese cones. We went with the dragon fire chicken cone featuring mac & cheese with Nashville-style pulled chicken, hot honey, Calabrian peppers, chimichurri and crispy onions served in a crunchy cone. As far as theme park foods go, this is hard to beat. It makes for an exceptionally mobile and rich meal that channels the whimsy and rustic vibe of the How to Train Your Dragon Univers

Delicious! We had lunch here on Jan. 1st, New Year's Day, 2026. We ordered 2 Mac n cheese cones. One PB&J (pork, Bacon and Ham) Very delicious the pulled pork was juicy and the Mac n cheese was very cheesy all placed in a bread cones. The other one was the Dragon fire chicken spire. Tender pieces of spicy chicken topping the cheesy mac n cheese in a bread cone. The last bitten we had was Astrid's shrimp bowl. Grilled tasty shrimp served with rice and grilled broccoli. Very yummy! The service was fairly quick and seemed friendly. The ambiance of the eating tent was fun. Bunch of tables under a big tent. Kind of cute. Please see pictures below and let your eyes feast.

The Mac and cheese cone was great itself, but the staff around were super unprofessional by giggling at people waiting in line for a long time and saying what kind of losers we are that we need to wait an hour for our food. When we got to the counter, it took so long to figure out the person in front of us because they ran out of steak and would just not take the person to the side and deal with them at another counter. Overall, this would have been worth it if it was a 20min wait max. 1 hour was way too much.

First time eating at Spitfire Grill I decided to get the vegan bowl. The vegan bowl has spring mix, pickled beets, pineapple, salsa, vegan feta, and a tickled bean and cucumber salad, the sweetness of the beats peas really nicely with the pickled beans and the veggies in the bowl Plus the vegan crumbled feta on top add for the perfect creaminess. I think we waited about 10 to 15 minutes to wait for my vegan dish. My friend got his rather quickly because he did not do a vegan option. If you haven't been here at this location is in epic universe. It is the first location off to the right with the seating across the way. 10/10

I've been home from Epic, but I am STILL thinking about these Mac and cheese cones. We tried the PBJ cone first, which was delicious. I am not one who's typically likes bread, but the bread that was used is like an everything focaccia bread that is so soft and good. I am wondering if it's possible to recreate these at home and wish that we could order without going into the parks! If you're going to Epic, then I highly recommend trying one of these cones. I also tried a salmon bowl, and it was good! We went here twice in our 2 days!

The service is okay, I would recommend just walking up and ordering to get your food. We did a mobile order and even with the time slot collected it wasn't ready until the very end of the time. After that we then had to wait in a line for our food, it wasn't ready for us to walk up and grab. The bread the real star of the show. The Mac and cheese is just okay. I got the pork and Mac and cheese come and the pulled pork was great I wish I had more.

PB&J Mac & Cheese Cone ($18.99) - I finally know why the Mac & Cheese Cones went viral--they're so delicious! Pork, Bacon, and Jam is a genius combination that went very well together. The highlight was the pulled pork, which tasted like some of the best BBQ I've had in the South. Highly recommend!

This was a great place for a quick yet unique meal at Epic Universe. They only accept cash if you want to wait in line, or you can order on the app and wait for them to call out your order. The cash line moved pretty quickly and the food came out hot and fresh. The PB&J mac and cheese cone was very unique and delicious. It's also very filling, which is perfect if you're trying not to buy too many meals/snacks in the park. Since this is a walk up window, there isn't designated seating but there's a seating area close by which tends to be full.

Mobile order and service was pretty quick here. Pro-tip: you can get the viral loaded mac and cheese cones here without having to wait in the super duper long line at Hooligan's Grog & Gruel. We ordered the PB&J (pork, bacon, and jam (no peanut butter THANK GOD)) Mac and Cheese Cone. It was extremely loaded! Very bready but it came with a fantastic amount of protein also surprisingly.

Counter service order then pick-up type service. We order the grill shrimp tray and the salmon tray. They were surprisingly fresh and flavorful. The healthy grain base for Salmon was good for me but not to my family's liking. We sat across the counter and overlooked the water boat ride for the kiddos. Overall quick and healthy option food for a park.

So we ended up with a portion of the pork rib, the pulled pork and the pork belly. The pork ribs was really good, although my husband didn't like the glaze that they had on the rib but the meat was delicious. The pulled pork was very good not fatty, which is fantastic. The pork belly is cut into giant chunks. It is very tasty. It does have a decent amount of fat on it. This location also has a variety of sides to choose from. We opted for the collard greens and the mac & cheese. The collard greens were good. They could've been cooked a little bit longer. As some of the pieces were a bit crunchy. The mac & cheese was good although the cheese sauce felt a little gooey and we attributed to that they may use a rue to make their sauce. Overall - we enjoyed the food and would check them out again.

I went back and asked for more bbq sauce because I got two small cups of bbq sauce which had about 3 tablespoons of liquid each. Pulled pork always sucks up a lot of sauce. The vegetables are fresh and there's a wide selection of meats and seafood. I also like to make my dipping sauce with the garlic sauce blend. My favorite is the Galbi which is seasoned well. Both savory and sweet. Another obsession is the asago dessert which is a tapioca pearls, black beans, fruits and jelly in a sweet coconut milk. I really enjoy going here since it's a good alternative to other AYCE in the surrounding vicinity because of the better quality. I want to see this place get more traffic because it's hidden in the old JoAnn's shopping center next to Aldi. There's plenty of parking in the commercial lot.

You can pick one or add the other for only $5 more. They have a good selection of meats, veggies, and others. The app selection isn't my favorite compared to other restaurants but still varied. And the sauce bar is always stocked. If you're hungry, this is the place to go!

The restaurant also offers plenty of room to stay and enjoy your food both indoors and outdoors. It was way too hot so decided to get mine to go. The plate is massive! Lots for chopped brisket and fries. Toast was soggy due to the condensation from the meat so just ok for me. The beans were sweet and smokey, an unexpected treat. The mac & cheese was dry. Didn't care for it. The Brisket - very good. Fell apart. However, I would have preferred it not chopped but sliced instead but still very tasty. And get the sweet BBQ sauce. Adds some depth to the meat. Overall, not bad. Solid 7/10 for me. Give it a go if you're in the area and looking for some quick smoked goodness.

The brisket wasn't as juicy as I would've liked. The fries were okay. Wish they were seasoned crinkle cut. The Mac and cheese was downright terrible. Like watered down velveeta. The barbecue sauce was so necessary because otherwise everything else tasted the same. Their sauces were good but again not anything unique. I probably wouldn't return unless I couldn't get bbq elsewhere.

This restaurant truly puts our soldiers, firefighters, police officers and first responders first and offers delicious and amazing bbq (and more) on their menu and let me tell you, it's some of the best in the area! Super friendly and hardworking staff with a positive attitude and giving their best to their customers. Upon asking one of the staff members about their job, "I LOVE working here!" was their response. Appreciated the positive vibes and energy. The interior is cozy, relaxing, and so much to look at on their walls. There is a very nice seating area outside (with umbrellas) that can be enjoyed, weather permitting. Truly American with a southern flair and great country music playing while you enjoy an amazing meal! With a small donation to support our heroes, you get their American Heroes Cup and and by the way, when in season, strawberry shortcake (homemade) is "to die for!" You won't be disappointed!
