I didn't mind at all that they had 2 classes going on at once. There was plenty of room, and they didn't get in the way of one another. The teacher was kind and full of smiles. I was concerned as boy did they ever do a ton of summersaults. My daughter was new and was doing a lot without supervision, and I was waiting for her to injure herself. I wish the young teacher would have paid attention more, and did more spotting. I would have appreciated her guiding her how to do things safely and correctly such as round offs and the bars. Not that I wanted her to know how to do it perfectly, just safely. She also kept on getting kicked in the head by another classmate who was being silly and starting behind her too soon. That was totally missed by the teacher as well. Watching seeing the girls do things thry way they were without anyone guiding them, someone is bound to be hurt. Each room has a table and 2 chairs to watch through the windows. A bit small in the hallway. I tried to be thoughtful and make sure people who couldn't stand a long time had seating. They have a couple of benches when entering to sit, but you wont be able to watch the kids in their classes. A one hour class is great. We will be back for ballet, but will be going elsewhere for gymnastics.

They are equally as wonderful with parents. The director Nicole is a gem and the company is lucky to have her!! My son started in the one-year-old classroom, and from early on I became concerned about the way…read morehe, and other toddlers, were being treated. The first incident I witnessed was a teacher, Ms. Jen, using her feet to push children into their chairs. I immediately brought my concerns to the front office because I do not believe that is an appropriate or acceptable way to handle toddlers. Unfortunately, I felt those concerns were dismissed. Not long after, I saw the same teacher use a spoon to stop my son from doing something. Aside from being inappropriate, it was unsanitary. I also witnessed teachers picking food up off the floor and giving it back to the children, which was extremely concerning. About a month later, I picked my son up with a busted lip that had dried blood on it, a knot on his head, and hives covering his body. No one contacted me about any of these injuries, and when I arrived, staff could not locate an incident report. After about 20 minutes of searching, they finally found it, but it was so poorly written that it was nearly impossible to read. Another issue occurred during water day. My son was placed in a different classroom and allowed to participate in water activities even though he was not scheduled to be outside for water day at all. He was allowed to play without a swimsuit, sunscreen, or water shoes, and spent time outside soaking wet in the same clothes I had dropped him off in. No one contacted me beforehand to let me know he had been moved or to ask me to bring the appropriate items. Ultimately, we chose to unenroll him early after receiving conflicting information regarding tuition and scheduling as he transitioned into the two-year-old classroom with an additional day. Let's just say, If they're teaching children the same math that they use to calculate payments, you do not want to bring to your child here! Throughout our time there, it became apparent that communication and organization were lacking. Staff members frequently provided different answers, and concerns were often met with explanations rather than meaningful resolution. As a parent, I was deeply disappointed by the overall lack of professionalism, cleanliness, accountability, and organization. I never felt confident that concerns were taken seriously, and there always seemed to be an excuse instead of a solution. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this facility. That said, I do want to recognize the teachers who made a positive impact on my son's experience. Ms. Megan, Ms. Rebecca, Ms. Morgan, and another teacher; a Black woman with glasses who was usually there midday, whose name I unfortunately cannot remember were all kind, attentive, and genuinely cared for the children. They were a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience.

This place is okay. Would I use it for my children given I have many other options? No, probably…read morenot. Would I use it for my children if I had no other options or seriously limited options? Yes, probably. I do NOT have a problem with any of the staff at this location. We were pleased with our child's teachers. The Director and Assistant Director always seemed nice and friendly, but I had overheard them on a few occasions talking about other parents, staff, etc. when they thought no one was listening... I can get past that for good daycare, but it is unprofessional. My issues lie with company policies. Sunrise/Tots Unlimited seems to be very much about their bottom line. You will find this with a lot of these daycare centers, unfortunately. The idea is to spend as little as possible and reap maximum profit. That's just how capitalism works, unfortunately. However, it is ultimately why we switched to another child care... My child's room when she was enrolled had a few children with special needs-- I liked this because I want my child to be in a diverse group and know how to treat other children. However, in a room with 18 children and two adults, which is within the legal ratio for the age group, having three children with special needs seemed to stretch the teachers very thin. I was pleased with my child's teachers, but you could tell that they just did not have the support needed. There need to be additional staff for children who require a higher level of care; or ratios need to be lowered. I did also have concerns about sanitation. Pink eye did run rampant here when my child was enrolled. My child contracted it twice. I understand that it is common in daycares, and knowing how little support staff had, I am sure that ensuring all children properly washed hands with soap was not possible. I did also notice the room over legal ratio on a few occasions. I get that this happens, but once again, they need a couple extra staff members who can float from room to room to keep within ratios AND support children who have higher needs.

Floors, toys, and learning materials are often dirty, which raises serious concerns about hygiene and the children's well-being‼ ‼As a parent, trust and professionalism are everything when it comes to childcare, and unfortunately this daycare did not meet those standards.‼ ‼ I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a more reliable and respectful environment for your child.‼

I have both of my boys (2.5 yo and 6 mo) at Sunrise Preschool, and we all love it here. My kids love coming here and we all love the staff. My 2.5 year old was at an in-home daycare, and we needed more structure for him. I feel as if he's learned a lot since enrolling at Sunrise and he's always excited to see his friends. I always put in a lot of work to tour a million places and ask even more questions, and it paid off with our decision to enroll our boys here. I require a high level of communication and accountability from those that I entrust with my children, and I haven't been disappointed!!
