In the end I paid $125 for a 60 minute "couples" lesson through his website with Paypal, which seemed pretty comparable to other options in the area that we were staying in. I believe it is just him running this business, so you are getting a very personal experience and will get to know him. He is very flexible with lesson times/days, so he worked around our tight schedule easily via text. Only so much can be taught within an hour, so more lessons and practice is definitely needed. Lucas was nice enough to stay over the hour a bit to provide more advice. I'm hoping to work on other strokes instead of just the putt next time though. He is a "snowbird" so he holds lessons in the NY/Hudson area in the summers too. I'll hopefully take part in some of his lessons up here too eventually.

I came here to try out some clubs I was gifted by a friend and we got two buckets that we were able to hit for a bit. The buckets were $18 for a large which is a lot pricer than I remember this spot being. The range is pretty nice since it's covered and you can practice your swing here. This place is for the golfers who want to dedicate time to improving their game or take a lesson with a coach. They have business cards at the check-in desk if you're interested in connecting with a local pro. They also sell drinks, beer, and snacks at the front, and one feature I really liked was the shot-tracking technology that lets you see your drive distances and track your progress via an app. Not too shabby I must say. It's a great and affordable way to spend a couple of hours working on your game.

He managed to fix a slice that I've had since I was 14 (35 now) and my drives went from 125-150yrds to 200+. I was completely surprised that I had this much of an improvement within the first 15 minutes. I've been struggling to find the reason why I was slicing and he told me exactly what it was and how to do it the right way, not just counter the slice. My previous lessons with other instructors were focused on keeping my swing but adapting it to the slice. With Larry he showed me the right way my hands and wrists should be moving. As others have mentioned, the mats are worn and uneven, it could use a major update. The worst part is as I was paying, the owner guilted me into adding a few extra dollars for a "tip". Not sure what he did to deserve one but tipping culture has def reached its peak if they are pushing for tips at this place. Unreal!! Two small buckets and two iron rentals (drivers are additional) came out to $50+. I'll go to TopGolf next time for similar pricing but a better experience.
