I went in to this experience with an open mind but from the start it was not a great experience at all. I entered the pro shop and was insulted by 3 different employees regarding my age. Then I tried to ignore it and enjoy my experience but by the 2nd hole the golf cart I was given was low on gas and stopped working then by the 3rd hole the course was completely backed up 10 min plus waits on every hole. (an obvious over booking by the course) Mind you I am 11 handicap so i'm a decent golfer but the ranger proceeded to come up to me and said I was driving and playing to slow I told him the cart i was given was clearly low on gas and had been stopping on me rapidity but he disregarded it and said "impossible your just slow!" I also told him the course was backed up and I have had to wait on every tee box but he just ignored me. The only person who worked at that course who were remotely kind were the greens keepers. I asked for some money back because of my broken golf cart and was denied it. The course layout and quality was good and I would give that alone 4 stars but the service was absolutely terrible I mean there employees have no clue what respect or kindness is and truly ruined my experience. I ended up leaving on the 10th hole because I couldn't take the waits the disrespect and I needed to eat since the "half way" house was on the 8th hole for some odd reason and I wasn't able to stop to eat. Over all the course was nice and layout was good (besides an 8th hole half way house) but the service was awful they are lucky to get 2 stars. I do not recommend this course at all!!!! read more

The course itself is acceptable for vacation golf. However, the staff is rude, unprepared and did a horrifying job of managing the flow of golf. It seemed that each staff member was on their first day, or just mad to be at work. I would not go back unless it was one of the last options in the area. For the price it's a great course. Filled with par 4s and 5s and the odd 3s. Not as well maintained as many other courses in the area. HOWEVER great deal for the price! We played the front 9 twice since the back 9 were under repair. There was also no drink cart unfortunately. Pro tip: ask for directions if your playing the front 9 twice. For the price, this is a great course. Don't think you are playing Augusta for $35 and you will be satisfied. The carts are nice and clean. They have good gps/scrorecards built in that match up well with our Garmin units. The layout is great. Not a ton of elevation change, but lots of water and trees to work around throughout the course. There are a good mix of par 3, 4, and 5s. The thing I like most about the course is its mix of challenge and forgiveness. Some other courses in the area are extremely narrow, and offer no chance for a high handicapper like myself. Here, although there is a lot of water in play, I can adjust my game to avoid it, even with a bad shot. It offers a challenge for the low handicappers I play with as well because they can attempt to shoot low and play the water. All in all, the greens are quick, the grass is in good shape, and a day on the course is better than a day at the desk! read more

Good course it will surprise you the greens were redone making them challenging. T boxes are in good shape the fairways have grass on them, if you golf in S. Florida you know how sandy a lot of fairways are. Nice fairways here. In all nice golf course. read more

Today I was able to golf here for only 20 bucks. The grounds are practically immaculate and the service is exceptional. They even have tablets with GPS on the carts that show you distance to hole and information for each hole. You can even keep score on the tablets. read more

If you have not played Flamingo lakes lately, you are in for a surprise. The course took a beating during last years hurricanes but I can tell you Billy the golf course superintendent has done a remarkable job of getting things back is shape. The greens are pristine and the tee boxes are in great shape. Don't think this little course is easy because it will test all of your skills. The manager sucks, he's rude and has no people skills probably would of kill himself if he smiled... This course isn't worth $40 for 18 holes. There are many other cheaper courses that have way nicer greens. I wouldn't go here again. read more

Geez, I played the same day as Jason 3/7/2015. The carts and GPS are great, the course is in awful condition. The greens once the high-lite of the course are covered with a weed that affects the putts on most greens. Some of the greens are still in good condition, but most have the weed somewhere on them The fairways are hard and there are a lot of bare areas. I must have spent a lot of time in other areas. read more

Lets start off by saying Uton is awesome ! very friendly guy . This was our second time playing this course . The first time was great however , Billy the manager left a sour taste in my mouth . He comes across very arrogant when he speaks to you , almost as if you're being schooled , he lacks customer service and the level of professionalism it takes to do his job . This place is atrocious. They put my bag on wrong and then blamed me for it being put on incorrectly. They also refused to do anything besides put a new shaft on a club that they broke. We went there yesterday with a group of five people. First to wait at the visitor gate for 20 minutes to get in to the area and then no signs where the golf course is, driving around for 15 minutes we find a sign but in the next crossing again no signs and we were driving another 10min wrong. Finally we arrive to the course and find out that they don't even have a driving range! So we sit and wait for our flights to start. The people working in the pro shop are old and rude, no idea how to make a guest feel welcome. I went in to use the bathroom and I cut my finger badly in the bathroom door, who puts an aluminium plate with very sharp edges on the doors where people touch them all the time? Finally we are of to the first tee... as soon as we find it, there is no signs what so ever on the whole course! No gps on the carts, they said that it was too expensive to use. The whole golf course was in such a bad state. Between the nineth and tenth hole we were suppose to go for beverages to the cafeteria (3pm), but it was closed, what a poor service!
