This place does not deserve any star. Our concert tickets were for 8pm on the stand up side to see Los amigos invisibles. The show started at 1.00am we stayed stand up more than 5h00 before the show starts and we even left at the beginning of the show to be reimbursed because if we would have stayed for the concert we would have been 7h00 stand up. I guess they are expecting you to consume like never. The manager is absolutely rude and call the body guards because we asked her to be reimbursed, she screamed at us because we asked her to pay attention to us as she was not considering our customer request. The clown that was making the humour presentation (2 times) to make fun of the situation of Venezuela was absolutely pathetic especially in the actual context. He also read 2 times the companies who were sponsors of the event. I think it was very abusive. I will go to see the amigos insivibles in better condition. Furthermore this place is done for 400 persons according to the fire department and it was absolutely packed more than 600 or 800 persons. So I don't it think they are respecting the regulation neither. You will wait very uncomfortable in a very hot placed and completely compressed by people and even not an announcement of the show time and an apology. This is really uncomfortable situation. Please avoid this place at any costs even if you are able to see your preferred veneziuelians artists these people are taking advantage of the situation. The place is not safe, out of price and the manager Absolutely insane. A very weird way to treat customers and use ethnicity and nationality to do business. (I'm not Venezuelian). Worse than that is we have been seated for 40 minutes and still haven't even been served our drinks yet. They won't let you order at the bar. I never write reviews, but I had too at least this once because we had such a great time the last time we went for the Diana Fuentes concert. I have been to alot of concerts & comedy shows at the Flamingo Theater bar like The Robertico Show, Alexis Valdes Comedy Show and Alvaro Torres Band. It is a bit pricey but then again it is Brickell. Luckily, the drinks & tapas are up to par. The ambiance is amazing, they have music before & after the shows. It is a beautiful Theater with a vintage look to it. SO much fun read more

Went there yesterday to see San Luis. Horrible place to be. No place to park, the tickets said it was suppose to start @ 9pm, doors opened @ 10pm. We where there since 8pm and no one ever showed up to advised of the time change. We had bought VIP tickets, but was moved to the general area because one of the sponsors needed space for his girls. By the time the performers came out (12:45am, yes 3+ hours late!) I was already pissed about how the venue had treated, not only me, but the majority of the people there. Went to this establishment last night for the Hector Lavoe tribute. Luckily, I read the precious reviews and we arrived an hour late (10:05) and to our surprise, as soon as we sat down, Lavoe came out!!! We ordered and got our drinks immediately (adequately priced). It was a good ambiance, sound system and overall performance. I don't think an hour wait was unreasonable but I'm glad I didn't have to do it. I deducted 1 star because security was stingy about dancing. Whenever they host a Latin dance performance, they should create an area as a dance floor. read more

My 4 stars is more based of the great setup and the amazing vibe this place has going on . Now the food ???? Oh god please work out on freshness and better quality . For the price the dishes have one will expect something delicious . I don't mind paying $$ for 3 tostones but I do mind paying for them if 2 out of 3 Taste un- fresh and I end up eating only one . I am very disappointed with this place! We went there for a show and even though the service was not supposed to interrupt the performance, they were coming all the time trying to sell more drinks and gave us the checks without asking them to do so. Then, we had more stuff on our bill then what we have consumed. We tried to explain the waitress but her English was so poor that she couldn`t understand a word. We decided to leave it that way and just pay. When the show was over we want for drinks at the bar and there the prices were 3 times more. We were shocked and asked the bartender what is the reason for it and he said that they have different prices for the floor and for the bar. Really? The valet guys are another story, very pricey, rude and they treat your car like it`s their own - change the AC, the radio station and drive like they are on F1. The place is pricey, stinky and staff is poorly trained and rude! I will spread the word out and I definitely don`t recommend this shady place! read more

We went there to see George Harris, when we first arrived we were not expecting such a big theater so that was a great plus, and we liked the setting. The food was good, the service was OK, it could have been better if there were more servers because the place is pretty big and there's SO MANY people its crazy!!! We were a little upset it took so long for the show to start (we got there at 8:30pm because of the flyer, and the show started at 11pm) and the music was so loud I left with a horrible migraine by the time it was done. I guess my only main complaint was the music being extremely loud (it's a theater not a club, no one was dancing, we were all just waiting for the show) and the service could've been a little better if it wasn't because of how crowded this place got, I mean it was hard for servers to get to tables. Other than that it was a nice experience, I would go again, definitely later though and with tylenols in my purse LOL. George I LOVE YOU!!! My favorite Venezuelan Comedian. read more

We went to see Chente Ydrach and it was freaking hilarious we loved it! But the place itself not much, it was hot and uncomfortable. Drinks and food really expensive. The mojito I ordered was nasty, it just tasted like melted ice and the waiters took forever to attend everyone cause the buttons for service at the tables did not worked. The show was scheduled for 8 comma it was 9 before they even opened the doors, on top of that they oversold the show, so they had to add extra tables, the place was packed if the fire department had come in it would have been closed down. First all of all this place needs to be remodeled asap!!! My week vacation in Miami finished with a visit to a HORRIBLE play in this theater. There is no comparison with the theaters in New York or here in my hometown of SF but I was really trying to make my friend happy by going with her and some other friends to see a show call BrujasMiami from the first impression I knew this was going to be a long night and I mean that in a bad way!! The show was crappy the actresses were mediocre to bad for sure none of them would ever get close to an Oscar (the award)!!;) So we waited a while because the show was not running on time I figured they wanted to have the place full but anyways we waited then the show started...boring and very dull!!! waste of time & money big time!! Then my dear friend wanted to take a picture with one of the actresses from this show lizbeth gutierez which in my opinion on top of being stuck up, she had the fakest smile, annoying voice and in general she looks fake!! and believe me I know a fake person when I see it. She pretended to be so busy and that many were waiting for her that she was rude and brushed my friend off so quickly that the picture she got was so blurry you couldn't even tell who it was! I felt so bad for my friend but this (suppose actress) thinks she is all that!!! Probably the worst experience ever. The show started an hour and 20 minutes late. We had VIP tickets to sit up front but had to sit in the back "because everything was filled up". Everybody was very rude and when we complained about the seating issue we were told "you can either sit there or leave". Then when we finally sit down it took around 35- 40 minutes for us to catch a waiters attention because nobody had stopped by. Then it took probably another 30 minutes to get our drinks. Went there to see a musical act and the place was nice and big. The problem is that it is designed like a theatre and they make you wait. So you sit there for an eternity watching the boring stage, from 9 PM until the show starts 12 midnight with no warm up acts to keep you entertained. It is disrespectful of management announce a early start time and expect you to consume drinks for hours without any warmup entertainment. My advice is do not arrive early. read more

I was at this venue last weekend and I must say I was astounded by all the negative reviews about shows starting late. So I purposely showed up late, I had already purchased my ticket on-line so I took the risk and .........the reviews were correct. My show started late, an hour and forty minutes late. Details: ticket said 8PM but show started at 9:40PM. (The theater doesn't actually open until 8:30, at least that's what their website said, yet the tickets said show starts 8:00pm.(?!)) I showed up at 9:00, there was a line to get in, whether you were a ticketholder or not. Each person/group is escorted to their seats, maybe this is why it takes a while to get in, the place is dark inside. They do sell drinks and food. My rum and coke was $11. Service was fine, venue was very nice (not smelly like another reviewer said). Parking is sparse. I parked at the garage across the street and that cost me $7 per hour ($21). It was a pricey evening but the show was worth it, Concha Buika Unplugged. read more
