Absolutely loved this venue. It's the perfect size for more of an intimate spacious experience. Inside is well organized with a bar straight ahead and souvenirs off to the left hand side to keep things moving. There's staggering there for any help.yoi need or to let you know where to go. Once inside the space the seating was comfy enough but once the concert started there was no seating thes rest of the night. I loved looking up and seeing the big beautiful chandelier as well. If you're on the floor there was a bar riggt off in the cut but the seating area had to walk out for snacks and drinks but no biggie. I didn't need to use the restroom but that's also located on the side where you exit from Valet is in the front but I suggest the garage parking across the street which is cheaper and a 5 minute walk at the most. I saw Jessie's Reyez perform and it was absolutely amazing!!!

The Fillmore is a heck of a theater. I have been for many shows over the years. The show I have seen the most would be "Brit Floyd". They were in town again last weekend and I was happy to catch them once again. It's a great location. There is a huge parking ramp a couple blocks away. That ramp usually empty's pretty quick after a show. It's right near Lincoln so easy to grab a pre-drink or diner before the show or after. And of course it has the South Beach vibes. We walked into the beatiful theater this past weekend. Security is always quick, and there are plenty of bars so never a wait to grab a beverage. It was a great show, in a great space. It's simple in design, but has a classic elegant design. It was a great show with great service in a nice spot, as always. It's a bit of a drive to make it down there, but always worth it.

Opened in 1957 along with the Miami Beach Exhibition Hall, the Fillmore Miami Beach was originally called the Miami Beach Municipal Auditorium. This theatre became famous as the home to many television variety shows, including the Dick Clark Show, The Ed Sullivan Show, Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants, and the third revival of The Jackie Gleason Show in 1964. During this Golden Age Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope and Jack Benny were regular visitors. In the 1970s, the auditorium was renovated by Morris Lapidus and renamed Miami Beach Theater of the Performing Arts. Touring Broadway shows that performed here included Angela Lansbury in Gypsy. Eartha Kitt in Timbuktu, Robert Goulet in Carousel, and Debbie Allen in West Side Story. Memorable performances in the 1980's included pianist Vladimir Horowitz, Itzhak Perlman, and Rudolf Nureyev and Broadway productions like My Fair Lady starring Rex Harrison), Sugar Babies starring Mickey Rooney and Ann Miller, and Cabaret starring Joel Gray. In 1987, the City of Miami Beach renamed the building the The Jackie Gleason Theater of the Performing Arts to honor the contributions of Jackie Gleason. The 1990's brought performances of Rent, Phantom of the Opera and Riverdance, along with performances by Marc Anthony, El Puma and the Gypsy Kings, Tony Bennett, Liza Minelli, Seal, and Lenny Kravitz. In 2006, Live Nation Entertainment acquired the venue, gave it a multimillion dollar refurbishment and branded it with the historic name The Fillmore. Today the theatre is part of the Miami Convention Center complex. The historic art deco space features an elegant main hall, three lobbies, and two smaller club rooms. You can enjoy some of the world's greatest musical entertainment with state-of-the-art lighting and sound or rent it out for private events with custom created menus with food and drinks. I have attended many memorable events at this theatre through the years and I look forward to many more.

We purchased VIP access passes for David Byrne and were instructed to arrive by 5:30 p.m. for a VIP tour that lasted all of 20 minutes--only to be told afterward that we would need to remain in an empty lobby until 8:15 p.m. because the venue does not allow re-entry. To make matters worse, although there is a Club Lounge on site, we were informed it requires a completely separate ticket not included in the VIP package, and that it was already sold out. This was a surprisingly disjointed and disappointing customer experience. If the venue/band intends to label something as "VIP," the offering should be priced and structured to include access to the Club Lounge or an equivalent space. As it stands, the experience felt anything but VIP.

I've had the pleasure of working with the Fillmore theater for a major event two years in a row. I'm leaving Miami thinking of how incredible their entire staff is. Every single person has been an absolute joy to work with. Alex and Cassidy running the space are attentive and caring. Incredibly professional and communicative. And just the best humans overall! Everything was taken care of swiftly and intently. Their security team is top notch - Cornell, Kevin and Gary to name a few. Any security ask was immediately taken care of. Jason and Tamika handling catering was effortless and the food was absolutely delicious. Veronica is an absolute boss handling all of our trucking and just running all of BOH. And Elsie and her team kept the space absolutely spotless and were so lovely. She would check in with us all the time and make sure we were always taken care of!! So grateful to work with this team. The events/concerts they host are incredible, but it's because the staff behind it cares so much. Would give them 10 stars if I could. Go see all the events here. They deserve all the business!!

Me and my friend paid for general admission to see Zara Larsson, and at no point were we ever told by email, text, or anything that GA was first come, first serve or that we needed to arrive early just to get a wristband for floor access. There was zero communication about any of this. Instead, we showed up expecting what we paid for, only to be denied access and moved all the way to the back of the theater. That is completely unfair and misleading. If there were important restrictions like that, it should have been clearly stated beforehand not sprung on us after we already paid and showed up. This whole situation was handled poorly and honestly feels like a rip-off.

This is by far My favorite concert venue in Miami- I've attended many great shows and have always had a great experience! No matter where you sit, or stand you will most likely have a great view of the stage. Acoustics are pretty nice as well. Plenty of bars thru the facility, & You have the option of ordering from your seat, and then pick up at the bar w/o wait. Plenty of parking options available, theres the 17th street parking garage, street parking and valet.

The worst guest services team. Instead of checking tickets and ushering people to their seats just outside the theater doors when they need to find their seats the ushers were doing it on the concert floor inside the doors of the actual theater. So for the first hour of the Sting 3.0 show all I could hear was the ushers talking about the seats. When I asked when they were going to close the doors they said they would once everyone was seated. I do not recommend any seats near the doors. The worst.

The drink is always good, but the music is not my kind of vibe.

The bartender told us from 8-10p, drinks are half off, whoa! The hard rock was playing and the decor above the bar will make you laugh (and maybe reminisce). They had an art installation in the bar (so cool that they do this!) when we were there. We weren't quite sure what kind of music the DJ would play, first it was very hard rock and the crowds started coming so more popular songs were played. People were dancing, drinking and having a good time. A full range of music from NIN, Nirvana, Mariah Carey, Shakira, etc was heard all evening! You could put requests in and it was honestly a really fun night! They keep the bar clean, always removing empty glasses, napkins and constantly moving to clear the bar and small tables. They have a water station at the end of the bar and really make sure it's always full. I'm very impressed with this place (it's connected to Lost Weekend but we never made it over since we were enjoying Kill Your Idol too much). We had a great time, thank you!

I really cannot say all the reasons I've gone. What I can say, though, is that I have enjoyed it EVERY SINGLE TIME. The chic, modern ambiance is to die for. You'll definitely be grooving all night long, whether it's on the floor, at the bar, or even sitting down if you're fortunate enough to be able to grab a table. Seriously speaking, I have only ever seen the tables empty throughout the week. On weekends, this place is hopping! I cannot believe I just used hopping in a sentence; goodness I feel old. Anyway, if you're concerned about parking, the 17th Street Parking Garage is nearby. That or you can Uber. As far as getting to the Regent, be aware it's on a corner and you may miss it if you don't look close enough, but when you find it, YOU WILL BE HAPPY. The drinks here are expensive compared to other areas of Miami, but you're in Miami Beach, so I would say prices are average. $15ish for a drink if memory serves me correctly? Lots of variety, too - gin, vodka, whiskey, etc. Needless to say, I highly recommend the Regent Cocktail Club.
