Casual bar to grab a drink and some bites. We stopped in for a late night bite, they close at 1am. We got a Texas burger and some wings. There was a special where you could get 10 free wings with the purchase of any pint, including soda. So we got that which was about $12 which saves you a few bucks. The wings were pretty good but it's surprising that celery, ranch etc aren't included since the price of the wings isn't cheap. Other prices on the menu are pretty reasonable, like the burger was $12. The burger was big, not the juiciest, but not bad. And the fries were pretty good. If you're hungry and not much is open, this will do the trick. Vibe of the bar is a little grungy, green lighting in places, and dollar bills with people's names/notes decorated throughout. We drove through Miami, hoping to get some tasty Cuban food but the streets were mad packed with cars, Vespas, scooters and people so we drove around for a good two hours just searching. Finally we found a parking spot at Flanigan's so that was our nearly dinner time lunch stop. We walked in and it was a bit dark inside and busy so we made our way to the bar. I had flanitini martini ($6), and we shared the rocking rib rolls ($14), dolphin fingers ($16) and smoked fish dip ($12). The rocking rib rolls were tasty with a good amount of meat inside but be careful going in as their core can be blazing hot. The dolphin fingers were mahi mahi and they were tasty. The fish dip was savory with both chips and saltiness, I asked them to not include the celery or carrots. Our server was Shania and she was good at getting our stuff out quickly. Last evening we decided to go have dinner at Flanigan's because we hadn't been here in a while and missed their ribs and prime rib. This location is very similar to the other Flanigan's that we have been to. It was packed and there was good music. They have their Thanksgiving Day decorations up and we enjoyed them. Our server was Daniel. He arrived at our table with a big friendly smile and welcomed us. He has a great personality and we were happy to have him make recommendations. He is very knowledgeable about the menu and what Flanigan's offers. I ordered the ribs with curly fries which I split with my daughter. I hadn't had the ribs in a long time and boy, were they tender and delicious! My daughter ordered the Joe's Special Prime Rib with a Baked Potato and a Caesar Salad with thise amazing garlic rolls. Everything was good!. We both had the Burgandy Capri wine that came with the meal. For dessert, we shared the Dulce du Leches cheesecake which was so good! We had a very nice time. There is ample parking in the back of Flanigan's with wheelchair accessiblability parking as well as a ramp. No dogs allowed. Families with children are welcomed. My first impression of the famous Flanigan's. When we got there off the bat hey seated us in the back of the restaurant where the kitchen was, even though there was plenty of seating elsewhere. Maybe there wasn't a person working the front is what I thought, but then other people that did not look like us were being seated in the front so not sure what happened. Our server took a while to get to us esp after we ordered just our drinks. My husband has been to another flanigans and had a different experience, where the wings were good and they brought celery and carrots with the wings and not charge them extra. I love a good Flannigans This location was definitely a good experience. It was a lively crowd all while sitting at the bar watching the game. It got crowded but was still comfortable. Last Saturday, my wife, son, and I visited the restaurant in Surfside, where we have been regular customers since its opening. The service is always friendly; however, we were disappointed with the food quality during this visit. Unfortunately, there were some issues with our order. My son and I received our meals before my wife, who had to wait an additional 10 minutes. To our dismay, the french fries we were served were cold. We politely requested our waitress to bring us fresh, hot fries and to check on the status of my wife's meal so we could all dine together. The manager responded by bringing a new basket of fries, but they were overcooked and too difficult to eat. Regrettably, the overall quality of the meal was subpar, and none of us were able to finish our dishes. It was disappointing, not just to be polite. Our waitress seemed genuinely apologetic, even though she had done nothing wrong. Unfortunately, we are unsure who was in charge of the kitchen that day. Despite this disappointing experience, we have decided to give the restaurant another chance. We are hopeful that our next visit will be more enjoyable and reflect the high standards we have come to expect as loyal customers. read more

I've been coming to this flannigans for the past 10 years and it's always been a place to get good food for a great price, my server tonight was Matt and I want to say he was very attentive on top of everything but still gave me room to breathe, extremely high level service far beyond what you might expect from a grill and sports bar like flannigans, I also want to shout out Curtis another server who has always been great to us and clearly has a passion to give more than 100% in his work and really made us feel welcomed today and every time we come in. I came here last Friday with a couple of friends for a much needed get together and after work break. Flanigans is like Miami's "Cheers". We got friendly and attentive service, and yummy bites. Yes it's a chain, but you're guaranteed a great bar night whether you're in Hialeah or Surfside. There are plenty of TV's all showing a multitude of games. My half rack of ribs had plenty of juicy meat as well as a lather of that famous n Flannys BBQ sauce. Likewise my loaded baked potato was actually loaded with cheese, bacon bits and sour cream. Their drink menu has a pretty good selection from beer to cocktails. My mojito was tasty but could have used a little more alcohol. I enjoyed and shared their key lime pie. What's not to love about a Flanagan's other than the wait on a weekend night. You cannot go wrong with a rack of ribs and dirty rice. Do yourself a favor and arrive a little earlier to wait in line. This was the only place open on a Saturday afternoon in Surfside. So we decided to take a chance. It was pretty packed. It's a sports bar with mediocre food. Servicer stopped to say hi and ran off without taking drink order. I thought it was odd but I do appreciate that he acknowledged us. He came back a few minutes later and was super attentive the rest of the time. Though he was short and rushed. Where this place goes wrong... the food. My burger was greasy and basic. It came with just the bare bones with cheese, lettuce, and tomato. My husband ordered the wings and he said it was boring and had no flavor. Btw all the burgers on the menu are the same.... One with a cheese, another added bacon, and another just plain. It's really redundant if you ask me. Just say burger and have customers choose toppings. After we paid, there was another servicer shouting at her co-workers. She was commenting on another guest. I couldn't believe my ears... obviously I am hearing it out of context. But I was appalled. Just wanted to share some feedback. I've always loved Flanigan's--I was born and raised in Miami and have been dining at Flanigan's for over 30 years, like many South Florida locals. I'm writing specifically regarding my recent experiences at the Surfside, Florida location. Unfortunately, the last two times my family and I dined there, our entrées were brought out before our appetizers. On the previous visit, the entrées were cold and appeared to be the same food that had been sitting out. At that time, we were offered a 10% discount. On our most recent visit, the same issue occurred again. A manager named Andrew personally delivered our entrées and stated, "You might as well take it because it's probably going to be the same one," which was said with a very unpleasant attitude. When I explained that this was the exact same issue we experienced during our last visit, his response was extremely rude and unprofessional. I've always associated Flanigan's with great service and consistency, which is why this was so disappointing. After decades of loyalty, this experience has made it difficult for me to consider returning. I felt it was important for you to be aware of how this location--and specifically this manager--treated a long-time, loyal customer. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Food is great! Been here several times. The current host and hostess have no idea what they are doing. Seating process is a total nightmare. Two days in a row we had issues. Was told it would be a 20 min wait. After 45 mins we left. While we were waiting tables sat empty for 15-20 mins. Thought this was a one time issue. 2nd night was told a 40 min wait. After 1.5 hours we were seated. I watched two tables sit empty for 15-20 mins again after customers left. Cherry on top was they ran out of corned beef and cabbage at 7pm on St. Patrick's day. The menu and website were really clear on allergens so I felt comfortable ordering my low carb combo (bunless burger with a side of coleslaw).
