Worst service ever! I frequent all the other Flanigan's and I have never been served so bad. Corporate should disown this location as it may give their other locations a bad reputation. I waited to write this review until I had gone a couple of times just to see if it was consistent. I've only ever called in pick-up orders at this location which can be a little inconsistent at other locations. I remember the one in Hollywood/Davie on Sheridan Street being a nightmare. But at this one, someone always answers the phone and takes the order correctly. Food has always been ready when it is promised and pickup is a breeze. I always get the rib rolls and the pasta ceasar salad with a scoop of krab salad. The best! Never seen either of those items on any other South Florida menu. Plus there is always lots of parking in the shopping plaza. Makes me feel better about moving west because I was so over the parking situation in the Grove. read more

-5 STARS HERE !! I am utterly outraged. I ordered for pick-up, yet when I arrived to get my order they informed me that they no longer sell beer to go. They gave me the order I paid for in full, but without the beers, and told me I would have to drink them there. I had explained that I had arranged for a group of people to be at home, making this outcome completely unacceptable. Their solution was for me to contact corporate for a refund, to which I refused. After much arguing, I asked for the equivalent amount I paid for in sodas to which THE MANAGER threw three cokes haphazardly onto the counter, and said three fountain sodas will have to do in exchange for the three Stella's in the bottle. Additionally, she sarcastically added that she had been doing this for fifteen years, and invited me to never order there again. I had a terrible situation today for a parking spot in this location. A man got off his car to threaten me with a baseball bat because I mistakenly took the parking spot. Everyone at the location who witnessed what happened ask if my kids and I were okay.. I called the cops and everyone offered to let them know what they saw. While I waited for the cops the manager came out his name is Lynn Jones, he was so nice, he asked if we were okay as well and if we were going to eat but by the time the cops got there for the report I had to get my other kid. Apparently this man had an altercation and the manager had also asked him to step out while I was in my car waiting for the police, fortunately he left. I returned because I hadn't had lunch and the hostess asked if I was feeling better and seated me. Maria was our waiter, the manager passed by to ask if I was better and if the food was good. This is definitely the best Flanigan's in Miami, and on the Beach. We live on the beach, rarely leave. Going here was a treat. We happened to be running errands near by, so decided to stop in for happy hour. They have great happy hour specials. We ordered the nachos, they were huge. My boyfriend had a Guinness and I had a glass of red wine while we shared the nachos. This was plenty of food for both of us. The ambience, typical sports bar. Plenty of flat screen TV's, I think you can see them from any seat in the bar area. I found it funny they were playing latin music the entire time at an irish pub, but I think that's because of the location it's in. You can never go wrong at Flanigans! This location in particular is always pretty packed, especially when there are games on. Outside is self seating though, that is what we usually do. They have great ribs. I usually go with the Rib Joe Deal. Its $20 for a cesar salad, garlic rolls, and a full rack of ribs with fries. The ribs are always great! So is the service. read more

Update! Ok, so I've been back a few times since I wrote my review and I'm much, much, happier now. The service has really improved - still the same great level of friendliness, but now they've gained much more professionalism. Service has been spectacular and I love how they all work in a team and help each other out. Servers who aren't assigned to your table are still more than happy to help. Yeah yeah, it's still loud and crazy sometimes and the crowd isn't exactly my favorite. But I guess that's expected in my lovely little town of Olympia Heights. My better half and I are early bird diners so we usually get in and out before the crowd begins, which may be why we haven't had any issues at this Flannigan's. The wings are genuinely delicious and we are officially hooked, getting a craving for them now on a regular basis. The tumbleweed onion is equally tasty and comes with honey mustard on the side. We typically get both of those appetizers to start and then share the Texas Burger. Typically we are too full by the time the burger comes, which is good news because then we get to enjoy it for lunch the next day and it is still just as yummy. My daughter recognizes Flannigan's immediately and thinks fondly of it as the place that gives her temporary tattoos in her kids' crayon pack. She also enjoys their macaroni and cheese and approves of the wings too. We come here on a regular basis and have never been disappointed. read more

Went recently on another occasion and had half a Philly cheese stake sub.... where do I begin. It had a slice of cheese draped over the bread opening and overlapping out. It only had cheese because the waitress demanded the cook put it on, otherwise it wouldn't have had it, even though I never requested it be omitted. Additionally, the cheese was only partially melted. We ate it because it was very late and were hungry. Personally, I'm not a fan of Flanigan's and think it's highly over-rated, in general that is. We went to Flanigan's Friday night for a happy hour after work and we had a great time! This is not the first time that we went to this location to hang out and it won't be our last. This location is smaller than the other Flanigan locations but I find that it makes it more intimate. We wanted to sit at the bar and did wait a little bit of time between getting our first chair until all five of us had a chair. The happy hour specials were great. The drinks were cold and we were served promptly. We shared the nacho appetizer which was more than plentiful. Next, three of us split a full-rack of the classic baby back ribs with cole slaw and french fries. We almost couldn't finish it. Flanigan's BBQ sauce is the most addicting part!! Saddened I need to write this negative review. I have been a patron of Flanny's for 10+ years. However, I went with a group of 8 people & after 2 pitchers of beers this last Wednesday we were warned that we "cannot continue to order pitchers". The server claimed it was a new policy of only "2 beers per person". My friend group gets together once a month to catch up. We usually go to different Flanigan's restaurants to rendezvous but after experiencing this horrible new policy we won't be going back. A limit of two beers when dinner can last more than 2 hours is ridiculous - I hope this policy is changed. read more

Good bar food! I've had their mozzarella sticks twice, and the first time, they arrived piping hot and stringy, the way they should be. The second time I went, they weren't hot enough. I asked for them to be thrown back in the fryer, and they brought me out an entirely new order. The real star of this place, however, is the Banzai Brownie! It was actually the reason we went here in the first place, because a friend recommended it. A supersize, warm triple chocolate brownie, piled high with Edy's vanilla ice cream, covered with huge chunks of Oreo cookies, surrounded by Kit Kat bars, and topped off with whipped cream and Hershey's chocolate syrup! It's huge, super delicious, and can certainly feed at least four people! We thoroughly demolished it each time! The place was crowded each time we went, but only once did we have to wait. If I could leave this place no stars I would. The manager clearly needs to find something else to do with her life instead of working at a restaurant. We ordered an order of nachos that were consisting of just chips with minimal toppings, we sent the order back as we saw the waiters walk around the restaurant back and forth, which is extremely unsanitary. She came to the table with a huge attitude claiming that she had to pay 5.99 to get extra toppings, which was not courteous whatsoever. Not to mention the horrible experience. We have been coming this location for many years. Today, we came to have a celebration and unfortunately our experience was far from good. My father in law ordered a full rack of ribs. After eating 2-3, the ribs were cold to the touch. We asked for a manager and they said they would bring us a new full rack. They took the plate with the eaten bones on it and we waited. About 10 minutes later they arrive back to the table, this time only half a rack. While they looked hot, we noticed that the same eaten bones were still on the plate, so the ribs had just been reheated. Again, we asked for a manager, Yader and a new manager came. We told the manager how the ribs were reheated and instantly he went to solve the issue. Again, we wait. The ribs come back and we notice that once again. We called Yader back and told him the situation. He began to argue with us on how "he has wasted an entire rack on our table alone". I don't see how this is our issue when the food kept coming incorrectly. I told him that we were not lying and how the first plate had bones on it and this plate was sliced down the exact same location. I once again repeated this to the manager stating how can all 3 ribs come sliced down the same location he personally cut it. He kept being insistent that "he did it himself and wasted a full rack on our table and would never do that". Basically calling all 4 of us liars. His posture and attitude towards the situation was 100% uncalled for. We told him we did not want this on our bill and yet we're still charged for half a rack. We didn't argue because honestly it was pointless and my father in law had in fact eaten 3 ribs from the first order. After the situation was "over" we were still enjoying our beers and the game when the manger brought out the bill, basically asking us to leave. This was our of our control or our waitress. She honestly did a very good job and none of this was her fault. It's sad to see how disrespectful this situation was treated, the reaction of the manager and i unfortunately we will not be returning to this location anymore. I was unable to get the name of the second manager but he was wonderful to us and appalled by what we told him. However we left with a terrible experience and will be going to other locations in the future. read more
