Once you step inside, you're transported back to the Prohibition era with a moody atmosphere, intimate setting, and all the character you'd hope to find in a true speakeasy experience. The cocktails are unquestionably the star of the show. Thoughtfully crafted, well-balanced, and presented with attention to detail, each drink feels like part of the experience rather than just something to sip on. Add in a live DJ, great music, and an energetic crowd, and the result is a place with incredible vibes from start to finish. Whether you're looking for a unique date night, a nightcap, or a spot to impress friends from out of town, 9 Feet Under delivers. Joe, at the door, was very welcoming. Fabricio, the mixologist, was a true craftsman. We'll definitely be back.

The food menu is also fairly limited and consists mostly of typical bar fare, which didn't quite match the unique ambiance of the venue. I was expecting a more creative and elevated menu to complement the overall experience. The service was decent, and the crowd was lively, with several groups celebrating special occasions. Overall, I had a good time and would return for the atmosphere and drinks. One thing to note is that they're fairly strict about reservations, which helps maintain the speakeasy-style experience.

Please see my review for insight on playing an escape room. We ordered the tuna tartare which is one of my favorite appetizers ever and it did not disappoint. I had the margarita which was perfect. We also ordered the calamari, the short ribs slider, the philly cheesesteak egg rolls and the spinach artichoke dip. Everything was delicious, it was brought out warm and quick. I did not have an entree since I was too full from the appetizers but my group, most order burgers. I had a small bite of both Prohibition and the Big Smash. Woozie! I was wishing I was hungry so I can eat both!!!! Prices are not cheap but the food, the ambience and the service is really good and well worth the experience.

They do have valet here, and they validate it for you in the restaurant, which ended up being about $5 after validation. We walked in without a reservation, and it was fairly empty, so we got seated right away. The service was great, our drinks came out quickly and were delicious. I got my two favorite dishes: the Wagyu steak noodle bowl, which is amazing and super flavorful with a bit of a kick, and the Salmon Zen bowl, which has a truffle glaze and is one of the best salmon bowls I've ever had. The ambiance is great, it's a really nice spot with a fun, laid-back like a sports bar, yet stylish vibe. I'll definitely keep coming back to Tap 42 and continue enjoying their food and drinks!

We were lucky to be under the specialized and meticulous care of Idelis, one of the bartenders and a founder of this Doral location. We started with a tasting of the Wines of the Month: * The Gold Rush California Red; highly cherry-fruity with nice depth. * The Vinho Verde; crisp, refreshing, with a very light bubbly sensation. After the tasting, and keeping in mind her preference for reds, we decided to go with 2 bottles of Pinot Noir; elegant, with beautiful red fruit notes, soft tannins, and that classic silky finish that makes it so versatile and easy to enjoy. We started with the house pretzel bun with butter, which is always excellent. From the seasonal menu, we tried the Crispy Barbacoa Arancini, which were very good. For the main course, my girlfriend ordered the Blackened Ahi Tuna and I had the Shanghai Braised Short Rib; tender, perfectly cooked meat with a delicious soy-chili glaze, accompanied by roasted broccolini, shiitake mushrooms, and wasabi silky buttery mashed potatoes. The portions were perfect and the mix of flavors in the sauce and the mashed potatoes is something I can't even describe absolutely phenomenal. For dessert, the Summer Peach Butter Cake (the seasonal option) was already finished, which was very disappointing we couldn't understand why, especially since it was relatively early. We ended up ordering the Key Lime Pie instead, which was very balanced in flavor and sweetness. The crust was excellent and gave the impression of being homemade. Another great visit overall at Cooper's Hawk. The service, the wine, and most of the food never disappoint.

Parking can be a bit challenging, but if you valet it's only $7 or so, if you take your receipt with you at the time of the pick up. I gave them 4 stars because last time we were there our server gave us a bit less cash back ($5) than she should have, and never came back to the table so we could let her know, we waited around for another 10 min to see her, but that was a one off thing! Count your change / Who pays with cash these days anyway. Pro tip: you can do a wine tasting there too and it's always fun to do that before your meal! Makes it taste that much better !!

But right beside are tables of folks who are not a part of club. I was asked each time (breakfast, tea time, and happy hour if I had club lounge access). I started by having lunch here. The burger was really good and priced right at $19. The side of sweet potato fries were really good, German and Caroline were excellent servers at breakfast. German kept an eye on my iced tea and refilled it before I had to ask. I also requested egg whites. I had a couple plates of nice crispy bacon as well. For happy hour, Fernando was a true gem! He made sure I continuously had a glass of water. I enjoyed the club offerings and made friends with other guests. The next evening, Fernando was off and it was noticeable the service was not as attentive. There was a private event outside and people kept walking thru the tables designated for club guests. That was an atmosphere killer - far from "exclusive." This morning, German and Caroline were off. I had to ask to have my iced tea refilled. The check was brought to my table before I had taken my first bite of bacon. I was charged and then the charge taken off at check out. They had not noted I had club lounge access. I would like to try Nau once renovations are finished to the Club Lounge and the main restaurant.
