During our trip to New Hampshire, we visited this cafe for breakfast. We liked it so much, we went back several times from the since the first visit. They are open early, and located inside a small indoor mall. It was bigger than I thought in the inside, with a good amount of table seating. They had all sorts of baked goods next to the ordering counter. They are made from scratch in-house, so some items might sell out before afternoon. We tried several of their latte offerings, and we enjoyed them all. For food, we had some of their breakfast sandwiches and wraps. The sandwiches are nice big size, with perfectly toasted bread. The fillings were generous, with melty cheese and fresh ingredients. We love their wraps too. Full Moon Wrap made with Bacon, Spinach, Tomatoes, and Fried Eggs with Cheddar Cheese is one of our favorite. The wrap was big and heavy, and it was packed with flavor! Everything inside was fresh and juicy. Delicious! Their New Moon Wrap with Sausage, Guacamole, tomatoes, Cheddar Cheese, and Fried Eggs is also a great choice. Very filling and tasty. We've been visiting this cafe for a couple of years now. Their quality has not gone down, everything is still delicious. The staffs are all very nice and friendly, welcoming and efficient. The theme is MOON! Came on a Tuesday morning to get some breakfast on a snowy day~ glad it was open because of the current off-season Spring time. Staff took our order and once it was ready, were called up to pick up. Plenty of seats since there aren't much people around, but again, on-season might be a different story. It first come, first serve for tables~ all food is given in to-go bags and packaging which is convenient if your off to another spot for some NH nature adventure. I ordered a wrapped that had egg, bacon and veggies. It was good, but very simple. My partner and I ordered the same drink, and what made it funny was how both came out in different colors and had different flavors. My drink tasted like it had more strawberry while his tasted like it had more banana. Overall a good experience with standard solid food for a touristic area. Clean and chill. read more

Rating: 4.0 Came to this place for breakfast. It's located within the space of the hotel/resort. Large parking spaces are available. Inside is very spacious and lots of seating available with decorations inspired by space and moons. It was!'t too busy so we placed an order at the counter and food/drinks came out pretty quickly. We got harvest moon smoothies, Nutella croissants and sausage egg and cheese sandwich. The Nutella croissants were tasty. It's pretty large and with lots of Nutella filling. The smoothie was pleasantly sweet and refreshing. The sausage egg and cheese sandwich was basic but was hot and tasty. Service was good.l and staff were nice. Overall it's a solid breakfast spot with good food and reasonable price. Nothing to complain about and is above average. Maybe I'm getting old and cranky, this was a nice place and the food was OK but nothing really stood out. We had tried to stop at another place up the road but the wait there was 90 minutes so we decided to try here. I got the spicy BLT which was good, spicy mayo (chipotle?) with some good bacon. Cute french bakery with large, fresh pastries! We came in an hour after opening and was glad to find a large selection still available. I went with a raspberry danish and split a sausage egg and cheese with my boyfriend (at the time) and a hot chai. The danish was delicious but quite thick.. the raspberry filling was mostly globbed on one side so a lot of the times I just had bites of sweet flakey croissant. The sausage sandwich was fine and nothing to rave about.. I will say I enjoyed the cheese that was on it, had good chew to it. Spent almost $30 so the prices were a bit steep but for the quality of the pastries it wasn't too bad. Service was okay, it took a bit for our hot sandwiches to come out. We are in Lincoln for work this week. I remembered the Moon Cafe from when my friends got married nearby at Owls Nest and was excited to go to the cafe again! Every morning we get iced americanos- 1 for now and 1 for the midday crash. They sure do the trick! Loved this place. There was a line when we got there on a Sunday which is always a good sign to see in a small town. I got a hot coffee with cinnamon flavor (I love when this flavor is an option). I also got the egg and cheese sandwich that is made on their homemade bread. My fiancé got bacon, egg, and cheese, a blueberry scone, and an apple croissant. I tried the croissant and it was delicious. It was almost like an apple pie because it had the apple slices filled inside of it! My sandwich was delicious. Their croissants are the biggest I've ever seen!!! Purchased only their chocolate croissant as takeaway. The chocolate inside is Swiss chocolate. It was served still warm. It's crispy on the top and soft overall. 5/5 I noticed they sell their day old pastries at a discount so I'm assuming they never sell leftover pastries from the day before at full price. We been a few times. Excellent cinnamon roll and chocolate croissant. Our issue are their hours of operation. we stop by on April 20th and a sign on the door was posted they are on break until May 16th. We wish they would be more consistent with their hours of operation. This is the second time this issue has happen to us finding a sign on the door being closed. We are not sure we would stop by in the future again. read more

My brother and I stop by for lunch after skiing at Loon. I wanted a coffee but they were out so she offered me an Americano instead. It was okay but I would have preferred to see what their coffee is like. For lunch I had a ham and cheese croissant as well as an almond croissant. The almond croissant was supposed to be a snack for later, but I just had to try it and ended up eating it for lunch as well. Both were good but not great. I don't like to give one stars but.....I can't give any higher. First off, the person who took our order was not friendly at all. In fact they were pretty rude and were much more interested in sipping on their coffee than looking and engaging with us. I don't need someone overly cheery but I do need neutral at least! When we asked for oat milk they told us yeah no we don't have that. We have gone to every store nearby and there is no oat milk out there. Well they went to double check and a side glance notes multiple oat milk's in the fridge. Luckily they found them and we got the oat milk. Then to top it off I ordered a simple iced chai tea. On a recent road trip through New Hampshire, we finally found a breakfast place with good food AND good coffee. We were beginning to think all the coffee on the east coast would just be "meh". But we stopped in to the Moon Bakery and our experience changed. I ordered a guacamole, egg and cheese on homemade french bread and added bacon. My wife ordered the full moon wrap. Odd hours of operation made it difficult to regularly visit during our week stay in the area. Beautiful ambiance inside. On our first visit, I counted nine people dressed in Moon Cafe t-shirts behind the counter & in the kitchen yet I had to ask for assistance to place an order at the counter. Two counter staff were looking at their phones. Another woman appeared from the kitchen area seemed like the owner. She spoke with staff in front of us but did not say hello (my wife & I were the only two customers). It was 2:38pm. I ordered a turkey sandwich & one of the staff said, "ooo, let me see if it's ok to order a sandwich." She disappeared to the back, reappeared in 1-2 minutes & entered something into the POS, then asked, "anything else?" I asked if my sandwich order was ok & she said "yea". My wife ordered a blueberry muffin from the display of pastries at the counter. I paid. My wife watched the staff member take a croissant, place it into the bag & hand it to my wife, who handed the bag back to her & said, "this is not a blueberry muffin." The staff member apologized, switched the pastry & went back to her phone with her co-worker. I asked if I should wait at the counter for my sandwich & was told yes. Waiting, I noticed the cafe closed at 3pm that day. This is probably why the employee was hesitant to place my sandwich order. 9 minutes later I received my turkey sandwich which was excellent. PLEASE work on customer service. Guests will always return for excellent service over food quality. We want to love your place! read more

We went for breakfast. I had about the best real fruit smoothie I've ever had (pina colada). I went for the special scone of the day - banana walnut. It was pretty unique snd I enjoyed the flakiness and flavor. My hubsband enjoyed his ham and egg wrap. The cookies looked yummy so I got several to go. They are delicious!
