    What is the parking situation?

There is a good-sized parking lot directly in front of Flappy Jack's. It can get quite full on weekends although I've never been unable to find a spot.

Does this location still have the old owners?

Yes! Our Orange location is still and always will be under the original ownership!

Are you open on Christmas Day?

    No they are closed

Does flappy jacks in Anaheim Hills take reservations?

    No it doesn't

Are dogs allowed for outside dining?

Not much sitting outside there is only like 2/3 tables but it looks like it should be fine.

Are you taking reservations for Mother's Day?

    Maybe

Do you guys have outside seating now?

Yes, they have a covered temporary patio set up for outdoor dining.

    Do they take RSVP?

    I don't think so.

Can I still order pickup from this location?

No. They are completely closed until further notice.

Any nutritional information on the food?

I don't think so. If they did, not many would order it. It's very rich and very good to the taste. Whenever you have that combination it's best not to know cause the calorie count and fat content you s off the charts.

Is there any vegan options? Yelp is saying they do but I'm not seeing anything.

My husband and I are vegan and love the Cali Skillet. We order with no cheese and the egg on the side which we give to our daughter. It's filling and yummy

Are they open on The 4th of July?

    4th

Is there a patio area so I can bring my dog?

    Sorry, no patio area

Do they have gluten free pancakes or waffles?

Yes they have a gluten-free menu including pancakes and waffles the only downside is the seating time could be as much as 30 to 40 minutes

Do they take reservations or do call ahead?

We had tried and they said no. But they sat our group of 10 in about 20 minutes on a very busy Saturday morning.

The Eggs Florentine had a nice, light flavor thanks to the tomato and spinach, though I was a bit disappointed that the poached eggs were overcooked. It also came with a side of fluffy pancakes, which were a pleasant addition. The orange sauce was especially refreshing and delicious! The Jim's Potatoes were generously topped with bacon and cheese and were absolutely delicious! The Pigs in a Blanket came with a hearty portion of sausage and paired perfectly with syrup. Service was fast, and our waiter was attentive and checked in on us regularly. The ambiance was lively and busy, with a fairly loud atmosphere.

I also visit the Chapman Avenue location in Orange because it's close to home. The food has consistently been excellent -- great pancakes, outstanding bacon, and truly exceptional fresh orange juice. The quality of the ingredients has never been in question. What has become a problem is the price. Breakfast has traditionally been the most affordable meal of the day, yet the cost here now rivals what I would spend taking my entire family out to a nice dinner. When you're charging premium prices, the service and environment should match that standard. Unfortunately, our recent visit to the Orange location was extremely disappointing. We stood at the podium for several minutes without being greeted. Multiple servers walked past us, made eye contact, and said nothing -- not even a simple "We'll be right with you." Meanwhile, a young employee was casually chatting with a coworker at the bus station, clearly more focused on small talk than on guests waiting to be seated. When our server finally approached the table, he leaned against our booth as if he couldn't be bothered to stand upright and delivered a rushed, mumbled line that sounded like one long word: "coffeejuicewaterorsomethingtodrink." No greeting, no introduction, no courtesy. We gave our coffee order, and he walked away without acknowledging us. The service continued in the same tone. Drinks were dropped off with visible annoyance. When my wife accidentally over‑sweetened her coffee and politely asked for a fresh cup, the server took the mug without a word and returned several minutes later looking irritated. She said "Thank you," and he ignored her. She repeated it louder, and he still walked away without responding. It's hard to overstate how disrespectful and apathetic the staff felt during this visit. When servers behave this way, it reflects directly on management. The attitude, the lack of basic courtesy, and the sense that guests are an inconvenience -- it all points to a culture that has gone unchecked for far too long. On top of that, the restaurant itself shows clear signs of deferred maintenance. Worn surfaces, dirty areas, and general neglect do not inspire confidence about what the kitchen might look like behind the scenes. We left feeling disappointed and honestly a bit sad. This used to be a place we loved. With prices this high, guests should receive warm, attentive service and a clean, well‑maintained environment -- not indifference and irritation.

The steak was so tender and seasoned so perfectly. Not too salty and the poached eggs were expertly done. The fried chicken in the chicken and doughnuts was soooo juicy and crusty so crispy. Perhaps one of the best friend chickens ever. Now for the bad. Service * 1.5/5 - we made a reservation for 8:15 am (they open at 8:00 am), so it was still relatively empty upon arrival with only 3 other tables seated. Upon check in, the hostess was busy organizing some crayons. She said it would be a few minutes before we could be sat. That felt odd considering the restaurant was not busy and we had a reservation. We stood there for about 5 min watching her fiddle around with crayons before she set them aside to seat us. Like you really couldn't have finished that after taking us to our seat. Now 5 min may not sound like a long wait but when it's for a trivial thing like making sure crayon boxes are facing the same direction in a box, that is just plain rude. Then we get sat in a dark corner next to a family of four. With so many other tables open I asked if we could be sat in one of the tables that had more natural light. She said no because the section was closed. No more than two minutes later she sat a party in the exact table I asked to sit at. We were never offered water. I had to get up half way through my meal to ask for some. Towards the ends of our meal, the manager was finally visible and she was incredibly attentive and nice. In general, the service was poor and not what I would expect at a Disney resort/restaurant. For those prices I'd rather eat elsewhere. The only reason I was generous with the overall star rating was for the food. Give the kitchen staff a raise!

My friend and I were taking a stroll and were attracted by the exterior design and name, of course. Upon walking in, I was actually taken back to Paris. The inside definitely has a Parisian vibe that is almost identical to the ambiance of many Parisian cafes! We went to an almost empty cafe on a Tuesday afternoon. The young female cashier was considerate and thoughtful, given that it was our first time. They have many options on their menu! My friend and I ordered a Greek Goddess crepe (Nutella, strawberries, banana, and honey). The portion was plentiful, and the price was average compared to other crepe establishments. As for the flavor, it was fresh and delicious! While waiting for our crepe, the shop did begin to get busy, but we still received our crepe fairly quickly (~5 minutes). I did see that they have a Wine Wednesday deal, which I will definitely be back for. Overall, everyone should stop by at least once for a crepe, a drink, or to experience one of their daily deals!
