Everything is good at Orange Cafe Bistro! Food, service and ambiance are better than 95% of the rest of the breakfast places in Orange County. Prices are in line with other restaurants. Try the Spinach Quiche, Eggs Benedict, Chicken Fied Steak, Patty Melt and Breakfast Burrito are all favorites with us. The servers are all terrific and friendly: Maria, Nina, Alicia, Emilio and Mia. Say HI! for us.

Such a lovely place for a brunch with friends! Our server Nina was so friendly and gave great recommendations about the specialties. Service was fast and food was delicious. Thanks for a great brunch!

Local neighborhood cafe since 1980s, typical brunch menu. Small & decent food. Friendly service. Quaint little coffee charm.

Love it!! We had the ham and eggs and sides of fresh avocados and tomatoes! The toast was so good, I loved the larger slices nicely buttered up, like the old diners used to have. Emilio was our server and he was very attentive. He even made sure my dog had lots of water and he recommended a puppy patty for my pup. Everything was wonderful, so wonderful that we ate everything before I got to take a picture of the food!

This was the perfect family post-graduation brunch! We heard about this place recently, that it's one of the best brunches in Orange and it lived up to the hype! I love that it's a hidden gem tucked away in a small shopping center. It's a small but quaint spot with both indoor and outdoor (limited) seating. Emilio our server was wonderful, the food was delicious and the portions were great. Especially awesome that you can choose a pancake with your omelette as your choice of bread! Because everyone always wants a side of just one pancake with their breakfast, literally perfect, and included in the price (epic)! The hash browns were delicious and I especially loved the squaw bread option (amongst many others they offer). Last but not least and kind of random but I really like how the iced coffees are served in a chilled mug, it's just that much better. We'll def be back OCB, thank you!

First time and omg I found my new breakfast place. Absolutely delicious and the customer service has a phenomenal. I had the crème brûlée French toast and it was unbelievable, a must have. My server Emilio was as super friendly and beyond helpful, he loves what he does. Will be back and become a regular.

This is a hidden little gem! My girlfriend and I came here for brunch. We had Emilio as our server. He was awesome. Super attentive and kind. Nice ambiance with a little covered outdoor seating and indoor seating. The food was really good. Will definitely be back.

I'm a little late with getting this review out. I couldn't figure out the name of the restaurant but finally figured it out! Food was great, we sat outside because the inside smell like old oil. Definitely does not have good ventilation. Our waitress was nice and the food was good. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

Crab Cakes (imitation crab) | IG @moniquedao

A little disappointed overall with the food. Pastrami Sandwich was OK. The pastrami itself was a little dry, thick, and not fatty enough. French roll wasn't crunchy like I requested. I asked for the crab cakes as a side instead of Benedict. I should've asked whether it were made with real or imitation crab before ordering. Turns out, it's imitation crab. I'm not sure I've been to a restaurant that serves imitation crab for crab cakes. Feels kinda wrong. And these "crab" cakes came out not as hot as I expected. Yes they were crispy on the outside but the inside was not hot. Makes me wonder if it's old. Originally told it would be one cake for $6 but they gave me 2. So that's cool. Small plaza with limited parking. Restaurant is also small and it felt too crowded inside. Anyway, I wanted to like this place because of high ratings. But left feeling underwhelmed.

Local Gem. The food here is really good and reasonably priced. If it's your first time, they'll point you toward their popular dishes, which is helpful. Their portions are very generous! The pancakes are a standout--super fluffy and not dry at all. They have indoor and outdoor tables available. The staff is warm and welcoming--our waitress Alicia was great. It has that true home-style diner feel, where they actually take the time to chat with you and make you feel like a regular. I overheard that they've had the same chef for 30 years, along with some of the same servers, which honestly says a lot. I'll definitely be making this place one of my regular spots.

Been here quite a few times and it's always good. The servers are friendly and the portions for breakfast are pretty big. I usually go with the omelette and it never disappoints. It does get busy on the weekends, so getting there early helps avoid the crowd. Prices are reasonable and I like the string lighting and decorations. It gives a nice vibe.

Nice little mom-and-pop breakfast joint located just off the side of the main street. Very relaxed vibe, run by one incredibly busy gal who I assume was the owner. Prices were very reasonable and the food was excellent. Good selection of food, the eggs Benedict in particular was very tasty. Highly recommend not to overlook it because it's a bit unassuming from the street view.

We discovered this little corner place tucked away on Miraloma off of Kramer after a doctor appointment at Kaiser down the street because of the great reviews. Now we travel to this breakfast/brunch place from anywhere just to get the GREAT FOOD and friendly smiles! it always has people coming and going, to sit down or take out, so you can tell it is very popular. The seating is a bit limited, but we have never had to wait. Today, I had the three egg vegetable omelet (so lots to take home!), just packed with tomatoes, spinach and peppers, huge pieces of wheat toast and lots of berries and oranges. I also got a strawberry Belgian Waffle covered in fruit (it comes with cheese but I didn't like that). My husband got eggs and hash browns with sausage, which he devoured. Our entire meal was $50-something which I think was great considering I added on the waffle meal, so 3 total. Just delicious! I always thank the cooks. They deserve it! And they give you a huge cup of coffee (me) that is refilled and have many kinds of tea (him), and we always get the fresh squeezed OJ. I hope you try them out!

We checked out Snooze, and let me tell you the food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Pancakes did not disappoint and the other entrees we ordered were all so delicious. I would highly recommend the whipped cottage cheese toast with a fig compote and hot honey for a light breakfast that is perfectly balanced. Now the reason for the low rating... our server. Let me preface this with every busser was running around clearing plates and such, but our server was terrible. I worked in restaurants as a busser, server, and bartender, and in all my years, I have never seen a server care less about their job, their time, or the customers experience. Cassandra was our waitress today, and she seemed to want to be everywhere else except at work. I had ordered a plain house coffee, and asked if it could be iced, to which she said yes, then proceeds to bring me a hot coffee anyway. When I asked for a glass of ice, she said she would take care of it, then took the coffee away for about 10 minutes until I went over to the service station to ask, when it was promptly brought to our table. Our water was refilled only once at the end of the meal after plates were cleared, and they had been empty most of the meal. I really enjoyed the food, and I want to come back, but if I am ever seated in her section again I might have to walk out in order to be respectful of everyone's time. I really hope the majority of servers do not work with this kind of lackadaisical attitude, because it would truly be a 5/5 experience if it felt like the servers were prioritized with making sure you were taken care of rather than trying to hide in service stations when your customers need something.

The parking lot isn't usually too bad in that you can find something as there is an abandoned restaurant near the side. Once there, there are usually both smaller and bigger tables in a cozy environment. The menu itself has a mixture of items as well as some juice/coffee drinks as well as some alcohol. Here's what we got overall: *Bang-silog: The fried fish is a surprisingly good option and pretty big. Able to easily feed two and comes with a few side items like rice and a fried egg. *Pandan cold brew: Oddly really good. I was afraid it was going to be overly sweet but ended up being a perfect balance of the pandan and the cold brew flavor. *Silog Breakfast Bowls with Longanisa: Lots of different options to choose from here for your protein. This is a great overall bowl packed meal that includes garlic rice, egg, tomato salad, and the meat you chose. You also get a few sauces to enjoy with your meal like ketchup and soy sauce. I started off with the golden latte. It was a beautifully balanced turmeric latte with almond milk with a perfect amount of sweetness. Not only was it gut healing, but it's super warming on a chilly morning. While I was looking over the menu, I was between the breakfast burrito since everybody was ordering it or the soft scramble with chili oil. I landed on the soft scrambled chili crunch. It was served with a half avocado and rye toast the others in our party ordered pancakes, bacon, a chicken sandwich and a Yuzu drink. Everything came out in a timely manner and beautifully plated. I absolutely loved the soft scramble on Rye. It was a perfect serving size as well as hitting the spot for a not so traditional breakfast. As we're sitting there, I noticed everybody was ordering the lemon ricotta pancakes, so I could not resist and ordered some as well. I will say the most underwhelming part of that was the lemon ricotta pancakes due to the ratios for the pancake pancakes and lemon ricotta. Overall, my experience was spectacular.
