I called several heating and coooling repair companies, and as expected, most were booked out since it was a cold day and many people were having issues. Then I called Edina Heating & Cooling and reached Patrick, who was very friendly and helpful. He agreed to come out that day to look at the furnace even though he likely wouldn't be able to repair or replace it that day. He showed up on time and quickly figured out what the issue was, and gave me options to fix something that the original installers had done incorrectly, or replace the unit. I decided to do the repair, and he was able to come back in the morning with the parts needed, and got it fixed in an hour, within 24 hours of my calling. Very happy with my experience overall.

After recently having another HVAC company inspect our system, we discovered significant rust, standing water, and damage inside the furnace. We were also given documented concerns regarding the condensate drainage/setup. We contacted Anderson (being hung up on twice) and provided photos, invoices, and the other HVAC company's findings. Anderson denied responsibility, and we have been extremely disappointed with how our concerns were handled. We are now having to replace our furnace and AC at significant expense. Based on our personal experience, I would strongly encourage others to do their research before hiring Anderson Mechanical. I personally would not use this company again or recommend them to friends or family.

The cost was very reasonable and didn't feel like they were overcharging for their services. This week with the cold snap in MN our furnace was having issues with keeping the house warm. Called Troy at Total Home and he had Kevin come out that afternoon. The Condensate pump went out and tubes were plugged. Kevin had it fixed in a couple of hours, the pressure switches also had gotten wet and needed to be replace. Which if we didn't have the best furnace these may have been cheaper but with the pump and switches the price that they billed us was still very reasonable. I know that when we have our A/C unit replaced that I will be calling them to provide the services. They are awesome, come out when called, the work is always good and Kevin is great!

We started calling all the heating companies in the area to see if they stocked one and they all said no. When we called Holmin Heating they said they would try to find one in the metro area. I think the biggest concern I had about this company is that when we had to install the air conditioner later on when it was warmer, the technician that came out was incredibly rude to my husband when he pointed out a preference he was hoping for either the cement block placement. When we brought up our concerns directly to the sales rep, particularly the way he was treated him as a person of color. This company dismissed his experience and tried to justify it as something else. I would really encourage them to make sure their various staff who interact with customers (who pay thousands of dollars for their product) have a clear understanding of what quality customer service needs to be.
