Manager couldn't wait to get my insurance info and wouldn't let me comment on the issue. I was wrong not to be more aware but they have a very horrible system as the gate lifts way too slow and it should be seen from any height vehicle. You really need to look to see if it's up. My other car washes do not have this issue. Hard to navigate with any type of truck because everything is so low and narrow. Wide turn vehicle is difficult.

The guy said he could do it, but cautioned me that it'd take some time. About half an hour, he said. I told him I had about an hour available. After going through the car wash I parked it with him and left. I returned 45 minutes later. He explained that less than half the car was waxed, because he'd been busy. But then I discovered that none of the interior had been done. The dash and the console were still covered with dust and the floor mats were still a mess. So I asked him if we could just focus on the interior. He seemed to agree that he could do that, but then left again to go tend to other cars entering the car wash. I waited and waited, while feeling ignored. Nearly an hour after I eventually got in my car and left. $48 lighter, and without even so much as tire dressing. Needless to say - I won't be back.

I returned to the location to report the damage and spoke with the manager, Edgar Merino, but he showed no real interest in investigating the situation or offering a solution. I later tried to contact general management and never received a response. The most frustrating part was the complete lack of responsibility and customer service. I understand that issues can happen, but the minimum expected is that they take the matter seriously and try to resolve it. In my case, I was simply ignored. I do not recommend this place if you care about your vehicle.

This past month Russell Speeders increased my monthly fee for the unlimited car washes from $29 per month to $49 per month without even notifying me. This increase showed up on my checking account statement. No warning, no phone call, no email, no mail, they just raise the rate because they thought they could. I was stunned with this poor business practice that Russell Speeders does apparently to almost every customer This business should be investigated by the State of Connecticut consumer protection immediately for their deceptive business practices. I feel bad for the employees of this establishment because they actually are very nice. Management is terrible. Upper management is possibly the worst. $29 a month to $49 a month with no warning. Never again Russell Speeders never again. I have canceled my monthly membership. There are many car wash services in the area that offer monthly rates, and I'll be checking them out shortly. I went to the car wash to dispute the transaction and they told me I couldn't get a refund because I should've came 5 days ago when I was charged.
