Then I got "fired" by the office manager for coming in to my appointment. At the time I was busy taking care of my parents so missed a text but did sign the paperwork virtually prior to coming and showed up on time for my appointment with no history of no-shows. I was told I didn't respond to the text message so they gave my appointment to someone else. They rescheduled me for Friday but had to cancel on me as the tech called out sick. They would text me about appointment times but by the time I text back after checking my schedule a couple hours later the appointment was already booked. I called to see if I could make a time work with my new work schedule and expressed (not yelled or was rude) my frustration over being in the office for my appointment and not being seen and having difficulty rescheduling. The office manager said "I'm not going over this with you again I'll email you your files and you can go some where else" I never received my records, an apology, an easy reschedule. I've never not paid or no-showed an appointment. And I truly love my dentist after having some anxiety finding one after a bad experience with oral surgery a few years ago. Now this is one of the best places that accepts my insurance and I'm unsure where to go for care & cosmetics. It's their responsibility to take the information I already gave them, not for me to re-build their database. The business manager will give her stock reply saying how committed to they are to their customers but won't address concerns. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Yu and his office girls. So gentle, so caring, so intelligent. Every year he is attending classes in EU to update his knowledge with the latest in dentistry. If you see his office, you will know that the equipment and the services he performs are different quality, from others. You don't feel the needle with anesthesia, implants are ceramic, one piece and much more. But the most important fact is:: He cares about the patient, he will not compromise for more expensive procedures, something many others do. I had what some would call a "snaggle tooth" that stuck way out, and I wanted it gone. She explained the importance of having that canine tooth, and why she did not want to pull it. Instead, she wanted to reconstruct it! And that's exactly what she did. I was very eager to get started with veneers, but she also explained the importance of having all of my teeth that needed to be filled, or crowned, or what not done first, otherwise, veneers would just be a mask, but not a solution to my dental problems at that time.
