We really appreciated that they priced our hatchback like a sedan and not an SUV! We also asked for the essential wash ($85) but left it up to them to upgrade to a mini detail or something in between if they felt it was needed since the exteriors of our cars looked pretty dusty. We mostly communicated with Brandon the day of, and we found him to be very friendly and honest! He actually ended up feeling we didn't need to upgrade the essential wash, and he was right--the cars looked amazing already due to the great job he did. We hope they expand to have their own driveway on the west side soon! Otherwise, if you have the space, you can hire them to come to you since they also operate out of Culver City.

Why make $125 once when you could make that amount every month, or multiple times per month, from repeat customers by literally doing what you advertise? FWIW, the exterior wash was good, and it was a same day booking (and they were very responsive, arrived on time, etc).

Him and his crew work super hard and are incredibly kind people. I love that he's local and goes out of his way to accomodate my schedule. I feel lucky every time I think how I just took a chance from an IG ad. In the two years since I got my car, I've done a 1 year and 3 year ceramic coating, the Glassparency and have had multiple maintenance car washes. I've bought washes for family and friends and everyone is wowed by the results. Look, premium services like ceramic coatings are not cheap, but I wanted to protect my car and keep it looking nice for years to come. Rene's pricing is fair and the results speak for themselves. Especially with the last couple of rainy seasons, the Glassparency was such a great investment and helps mitigate the use of windshield wipers (which personally are a pet peeve). I even spilled a huge thing agua fresca in my trunk and it left a lot of residue after I tried to get it out - Rene to the rescue! I don't know what he did, but he got it out and the trunk lift piece is back to new. Woo! I have ZERO qualms about recommending Rene and Double R. Avoid -- damaged my car. Paid $169 for a car polish and wax. Car came back with new micro swirls…read moremost likely caused by improper polishing (without first using a clay bar to decontaminate the car). These swirls did not exist prior to the detailing. The technician (Jay) said he would call me back to explain what he'd do to fix it but never did. UPDATE: Revising to two stars as the technician did call me back, offering to fix it by polishing further (for 3pm the next day). However, he insisted that a clay bar was not needed before polishing, and the lack of a clay bar was not the reason for those new micro swirls. This is contrary to established practice, where decontamination by clay bar is routinely done before polishing so bonded contaminants don't cause additional swirl marks. Clay bar is always recommended practice even for a Stage 1 polish. (Sadly, I had to learn this the hard way.) I am partly to blame for taking his word for it and not paying for the clay bar. But equally, I trusted him to know better than me -- and not recommend a polish without a clay bar. Eventually, I ended up declining the appointment to fix the issue, as I had by then lost confidence in his approach. I will be taking the car to another detailer and paying extra to remove these new micro swirls... He was a nice guy though, clearly with good intentions, and I wish him all the best.
