I am a recent transplant to Chicago (NY and LA) and have been on the search for a good eyelash place and after many failed attempts have finally found my person in Elle at The Living Room Beauty + Bar and cannot be happier!! Her studio is clean and chic, she is very thorough with her consultation, application and follow up. She applies each lash with SUCH precision that I was floored. Really takes her time to design a shape that best fits your face as well. She also is very professional (doesn't check her phone during application, isn't all over your face) and sanitizes everything which was a huge plus for me. AND to say the least, my lashes are GORGEOUS. Her prices are very reasonable. I've been to other places that charge an arm and a leg and my lashes looked horrible and they are rushing you out. So I did not say anything I just allowed her to do my lashes Again . 5 days goes by and same thing my lashes started coming out and not 1 or 2 or 4 , HALF the lashes started coming out again . I text Lanna again and let her know . She preceded to tell me that maybe my lashes are shedding that lash cycles are like that etc that she doesn't know why they would come out other than that reason , and that I can come back and she'll personally do them . At this point I'm beyond annoyed and inconvenienced so I declined this . I then let her know about the other problems that I had with Vanessa with her being unsanitary and keeping me waiting 45 min and let her know that I do not like to throw anyone under the bus but this girl is giving her company a Very bad look and wasn't going to say anything but at this point I am upset .
