A truly awesome experience I've had all these big mole things on my face for years and a good friend gave me a gift certificate for my birthday. So I went in and they examined all my moles. They took 2 off for free so I could see how scraping versus freezing. In 4 days they came off completely. Wow I'm so impressed so I went in for the full session and got 10 big ones scraped and 1 under my eye frozen. It was all done within 40 minutes. I am so happy to have these things off my face. I am so impressed with my experience with FlashLaser that I felt compelled to start writing my review as soon as I left the office. Located in Encino, FlashLaser is a medical office that specializes in cosmetic dermatology. I came in for a consultation for IPL. I had tried to extract milia months ago and instead of being successful, I thoroughly burst a vein or vessel and brought forth a strong amount of redness that would not be covered up with the strongest concealer. Judy, the RN who I spoke to, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and thorough. She explained to me what IPL was, and how it would benefit me on treating this particular skin concern. She also told me about another option for treatment as well. Pricing is very reasonable - $175 for 30 pulses. I loved that she was so honest about treatment options and what was, or wasn't, necessary. What really impressed me is that she did not pressure me into purchasing a treatment immediately. She actually extracted what was left of the milia and told me to give it a few weeks, that it might just heal on its own. Again, I was so impressed that she provided this courtesy and was so honest! Back in 2012 I gave this place a 5 star review based on their laser treatments. For that reason I recommended this place to my mother and sister. My mother and sister went to see Dr. Hiscox for botox and fillers and sadly with the amount of money they charged my mother, it did not make one difference in her face. She paid $600 total and went she went back within a week to tell them that the fillers made no difference Judy wanted to charge her again for BOTOX!!!! I was SHOCKED! I thought these people care about service but in reality they are just want all the money they can get from you. Total Rip Off! Even the other MD my mom saw couldn't believe she had a filler done in her face, it is as if the doctor shoots blanks! I am so disappointed with the service we received knowing how much I trusted them and genuinely liked them, its really too bad because they lost what could have been three loyal customers. read more

Judy is really a God send. The laser hair removal treatments are amazing, and the hair is staying gone. It's going exactly how she said it would and I couldn't be happier. But this update is for the salicylic peels! I had severe acne, tried everything from proactive to the dermatologist! My dermatologist basically prescribed me the whole pharmacy trying to clear my cystic acne, and although it did get better-would never go away. I was at a breaking point where I was going to cave in and try Acutane, which is truly a last resort. One day, Judy recommended the peel and honestly I didn't think it would be effective but figured it couldn't hurt, so I gave it a shot. I AM OVER THE MOON HAPPY that I did! I'm 3 treatments in and my face has no pimples, no bumps!!! I have some red spots but that's from the years of pimples that lived there before. Judy assured me they'll go away as well. She's been spot on for everything else, so I'm sure soon those red spots will be a thing of the past. She cured my painful, ugly acne, and I'm so grateful! read more

I have only had the Laser Hair Removal done here, so I can't comment on the other services, but I have been going here for a few years, and I am very satisfied with the results and the customer service I've received. Judy is very friendly, talented, and honest. She makes you feel at ease and always gives it to you straight. The receptionist is cheery and sweet, the decor is unique and tasteful, and the office is always spotless, yet still manages to be welcoming. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get what I get done here. Flashlaser isn't the cheapest, but it's certainly not the most expensive, either. Flash Laser is also great for teens with acne. My son is going through that phase in his young teen life where everything shows up on his face due to puberty, hormones , sweat after sports etc. Judy has been helping us through this period and we have seen tremendous improvement. My son enjoys going on a regular basis for facial with blue light because he see the results. judy is wonderful with him, very thorough and she even follows up. The environment is attractive, clean, professional and comfortable. We had been to other aestheticians but I felt he needed a more clinical setting. I have been coming here since around 2008. I wouldn't trust anyone else with a laser on my skin except for Judy. I am mixed so a lot of places aren't sure how to deal with my skin and often burn me. So I only come to Judy to fix my skin with the pixel laser which I swear by. She has worked on several scars which are now non-existent and she is very thorough and kind. The staff is friendly and professional, I saw Judy for a micro with a glycolic peel and she was fabulous! She took the time to talk to me about my skincare, and was very thorough during the treatment. Now that I do I want to say that Flashlaser has been a wonderful experience to every skin needs that I have done, my favorite in particular is getting Micro Dermabrasions done by Judy! :) Judy is great in making you feel very comfortable and is very knowledgeable to explaining what she is doing step by step and how to care for your skin after. I recently booked my mother who I been trying for a few years to get a Micro Dermabrasion and facial done but she was nervous to get the treatment, but now loved it and is ready to do it again!
